i gotta say i noticed this, he will make a durand in robotics for no reason, DNA imprint it and refuse to give it unless forced by a head of security/captain with a stamped form, even though you need to have the form before building the mech. just seems like they're building it there just in case shit hits the fan and they could hop in to shoot up people.

I've been waiting till i did get interact with Kalla before posting here. when i was their RD, they were alright. they did research, followed orders and reported back. the other time, i was a security cadet, i was asking them if they had some items available before making a request, they outright denied they could make them, not like they refused to make them, just straight up lying and being uncooperative. later in discord they expressed how they hated security, which have done nothing to deserve a grudge. claiming they should get the form done before even asking anything is available. such bias and lack of cooperation is something to expect from a normal crewmember, but not a head of staff. if you keep this mentality of department bias it will only make things worse once you're in charge of the whole department. EDIT: neutral after giving reasons for the above, not entirely justified but not as bad i thought.

1+ from me, while NT-A-1337 might trigger me at times for being useless. they are the most robotic, logical robot to have robotized his way into the station. while i haven't interacted with the other characters, i can see the effort they put into roleplaying them, even though they're a very basic character they're neither bland nor snowflakey. at the moment i dare say they're the best borg player

I wouldn't mind if they did ignore me, but if they do correct you, they've noticed you implied it was them. so i don't really get your point. anyway, that was only a comment on their type of personality, not what they actually did.

I agree with fiskap on epsilon, they always strike me as smug strong independent cyborg who need no human, and will try to correct you and have you use the correct pronouns if you don't call it cyborg/android/robot. they're useful in medical, but outside of it, all i hear is how they are vastly superior and that organics are nothing compared to them (although merely mentioning hands shoots down the argument), if anything, they remind me of cadmus, useful yet bad personality, for a cyborg anyway. as far i've seen, i haven't seen any kind of robotic RP coming from your epsilon so it makes me wonder if you can be trusted with an IPC whitelist, the only robot character you had that i interacted with was an MMI. as for your other character, Sarai. i've only met them when you played them as a wizard, which iirc isn't allowed because people tried to pretend to be crew and pull metafriend strings(*cough *cough simon greene *cough). and you would just play them as uh, a snowflake really. they iirc never actually antagonize and just walk around with their spells, which i have to say is not being an antagonist, just a special snowflake. antagging isn't too relevant to a whitelist app, but the RP you created that round was very lackustre. so im staying neutral, unless you make a slightly more robotic cyborg or go full android/robot.

i prefer the assplosion to be honest, it can have a tactical advantage, set the sink next to a hostage and give the station a hint of it's existence.

i had an idea like this too, with a bit of mechanical advantages, like boxers being able to punch faster, but i think that would just turn everyone on station to black belt martial artists, so im more in favor of just flavor text, though i wouldn't mind mechanical differences too.

i was holding off from commenting because the story had some work made into it, but now i feel differently. my first interaction with bygonehero was when i was a mod, I'm not going to bring the whole matter out of the grave, nor does the incident itself really matter, but their OOC attitude at the time does, long story short they blew up at me, and according to other staff members at the time, that was just the usual. this incident was a while back, i thought they may have changed, until a round today where they as an IPC officer decided to search the warehouse on code green without a warrant, nor telling any other security members. they were arrested for i119 but given a i101 since we didnt have the previous charge, so technically all that happened was that he got searched and processed, what does he do? i would expect this from a baldie's first day, not a whitelisted player. he then heads to cryosleep with full gear. what kind of character would say they'll quit their job over them breaking directives, let alone a robot? as soon as he said that i remembered my earlier experience with them, and after checking the who command and seeing them online and then later offline, i ahelped to make sure it was you, and color me surprised, it was! I like how you did not include this character in your list, is it because it's rarely played or do you play differently with it? a -1 from me, definitely.

is this IPC going to be an I.C.E cold killa? memes aside, I've known Bling for a good while, and i know they're a very capable roleplayer, all his characters are unique and different from each other without being retarded, snowflakey or other side effects of trying too hard. his synthetics always scare me, which is good, around robots, never relax. into the app itself, the story feels a bit snowflakey, but not far fetched at all since ERT gets blown up all the time, but i wonder if NT would give out brains to their rival, heph-heph industries. and Smith isn't Tony Smith, is he? because iirc you cant work in two mega corps by law/contract. the story seems recipe for PTSD Valid hunting robocop but knowing how you roleplay I'm sure it wont be an issue. +1 from me (P.S: he's security, right?)

We could put regulations on them so they aren't forced all the time, and have them disabled through EMP. if you really want to take out security members/convert them you should put more effort into it because right now you can easily parapen/stun talisman, remove headset and drag someone off. another idea is have it go blind once the officer falls down, since he'd usually fall on his stomach or back so the camera would either face the floor or the ceiling.

I was going to make a character complaint at first, but then i remember all their tajara characters are awful. First it's his security cat, sanu'dra; So overly aggressive that he puts the unathi aggressiveness meme to shame, this character will literally walk into the brig and ask "who does he kill!?" will frequently try to behead antags even if they didn't interact with them much and put them on spears, and over all too damn aggressive on antag rounds so you can never make an IR about it. i was even told he was once low-key asking a HoS to let him kill a prisoner. Secondly, his even worse clone, the science tajara Kahketkirran Darkrawakra, my first interaction with them ever ended up with https://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=7543 and after i made the report they just vanished, now i see them back again and here i am, writing a complaint. for people who dont want to read the IR, he put on force gloves and kept shoving me around on the escape shuttle infront of everyone, force gloves that were contraband since the RD i asked said they didnt approve them, ignoring all the witnesses that could get him fired they just goofed off for no reason, assaulting other employees. the second time i met him he was standing next to the HoS and in view of everyone, shoved a knife into his boot, and then resisted arrest and ran off. i honestly don't know how this character would keep his job at this point and is basically breaking immersion due to CCIA's incompetence. Captain's and Heads of Personnel, whom are also inclined to take looks, both have access to Chief Medical Officer access through one way or another. The captain is your boss, if he wants to check he can check; as for the HoP, i rarely ever see them get extra access without a good reason, and even less snooping im the morgue. I say ID lock them and have them smashable like airlocks. So even if someone did mess with it, it would be loud and noticeable afterwards.

Must've been damaged before or while running, you only get to like 30oxyloss before stopping. Human sprinting is fine, maybe decrease the nutriment consumption sssslllliiiighhttly like 10%-15% IPC running on the otherhand is crap, waaaaay too bad, i dont mind the overheating being a bit too fast, but power cosumption is insanely fast.

As it is, interim heads cant be acting captain, their opinions matter less if at all, and only the captain should promote people to interim head positions imo, unless there's an emergency.

i.. i thought i replied, looks like my internet failed me yet again. anyway, we discussed this incident in the secret mod clique chat, we came to the conclusion that this was valid. the CMO did not rambo, nor did he plan to be the hero the station needed from the start, but knowing who the kidnappers are and how many patients he would have to clone, he made a simple but effective plan if he ever gets the chance. you knew the risk of letting the CMO into the bar, you even had the demands of him being naked, but you did not follow through with that, you even stood next to each other, making taking both of you down easier. while we do not encourage heroes, we also do not encourage the mindset that hostages = safe. hostage taking is one of the hardest things you can pull off, and needs more planning than just getting talked to by another traitor and setting up grenades, you need fail-safes, escape routes and what not.

i did suggest this before but with less details, i'm always in support of new features, especially ones that will give jobs like robotics something to actually do. not to mention more people going for implants and prosthetic limbs which mean EMP weapons would become even more of use.

That's more text than expected... ill have to remind the others of the rule of DONT POST UNLESS YOU'RE INVOLVED. Just a few things to point out, antag rounds are usually not canon, so ICly all you would get is brig time, sometimes thats fair, sometimes you get bwoinked, In cases its something that would usually get your character fired and without a very proper reason AND execution. Ad-hom is using personal attacks instead of an argument not adding personal attacks to an argument. Ill have to get on my computer before making bigger replies but for now please use the format for staff complaints, we could just bin this for not following it.

I wasn't on at the time but let me ask you something, the dude who proved to have an explosive launcher meets you in a dark maintenance corridor and threatens/looks threatening to you, your only option was to smack them in the face with a welder? I don't think that's how you should deal with someone known to have explosives.
