Fortport Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Sugar cubes and cream packets(liquid) added to coffee machines, both sugar cubes and cream packets being 5u each. Can be saved in your loadout to take some to work with you. Able to be added to coffee cups(they're half full, so there's plenty of room to add sugar or cream) dispensed from the coffee machine or to a glass. Should be fairly inexpensive.
niennab Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Yes! Yesssss! I would love this for coffee delivery runs as well. Although, who is the mad lad bringing their own creamers and sugar cubes to work?

wowzewow Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 pretty sure people steal those from work IRL, not bring them from home

Fortport Posted March 10, 2020 Author Posted March 10, 2020 While I don't know anyone who's taken these from home, them being available from or beside the coffee dispenser is fair, I think. IRL, most coffee 'stations' in a workplace have a space beside where you take your coffee to mix in what you want with plastic spoons and such that are provided for free. It's not impossible to buy your own sugar cubes to use at home, and it's not impossible to take them to work. It would just be odd, considering that most workplaces provide this stuff to you for free. There could be a small table with sugar cubes and these creamer packets. They could be purchased from the coffee machine, too, but I think they should be extremely cheap if that's the case.
Guest Marlon Phoenix Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 One of the janitors at my work ignores the provided sweeteners by our coffee station and brings in his own sugar packets because he says that artificial sweeteners are full of bad stuff that the chinese government wants to poison us with to weaken western civilization. Someone bringing in their own sugar and cream is pretty weird and at least for me theres that added layer of bizarreness. Maybe as a lunchbox thing but it should just be provided in the break rooms. Dont all our dispensors offer sugar and cream anyway?
Carver Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 No reason not to, the reagents already exist so it's significantly less work than most food/drink-related ideas. +1

Dont all our dispensors offer sugar and cream anyway? We have dispensers, but it's not provided at coffee machines, and not everyone has access to a dispenser without talking to the chef or somebody. And I don't know about you, but having to go visit the cook or something is a bit much when I just wanna make a cup of coffee the way I want. That stuff could be provided either at the coffee machine with the coffee or/and in the break room like you said. Loadout implementation is not a must-have.
Carver Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 I'd say it'd be a perfectly fine thing to add to load-outs, especially as a previous comment gave an example of someone bringing them to work.

Take this with a grain of salt, but I also asked around out-of-context in real life and other places if anyone's known anyone that took sugar and creamer to work. It's not completely unheard of.
Doxxmedearly Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 While I'm not opposed to it being a loadout item, it feels much simpler to add packets of each to some of the bar tables instead, which is a publicly accessible area.

I think it should also be available at coffee machines throughout the station, so I don't have to backpack from one side of the station to the bar because I want sugar in my coffee. But people in the bar would benefit from that, and it's also close to the kitchen.
Zer0Winds Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 I'm going to admit I'm the mad lass that brings their own creamer. Not sugar, but I don't put in sugar in my coffee, and I only make tea at home. The reason is though, that I like Hazelnut, and the only way I get Hazelnut, is if I bring it myself. What I'm saying is I support this.
PTiberiusM Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 The idea that you could bring a "coffee kit" in your loadout is cool. Just have it like the lunchbox: You get a thermos full of coffee, one cream, one sugar. The cream and sugar are 10u containers with 5u default pours.
