Yeah, I don't like the sound of that at all. It's kinda like how you can kill someone and then if anyone asks where they are, then you just say they went to cryo. Done. Nobody's going to investigate at all because they think the player had to log off, and nobody's going to realize when 30 minutes pass and the cryo message didn't kick up. It's just kinda a shitty thing to do and at that rate, nobody is ever going to trust anybody saying they're going to cryo/AFK/SSD.

Yeahhhhhh, I agree with Menown. Retrofuturism doesnt fit here at all. What kind of aesthetic does it even have outside of "this almost intentionally looks terrible" anyway? Not to mention that cars don't suddenly get manufactured because of post-obsoletion popularity. At least not enough that everybody is driving one (e.g. DeLoreans). Maybe I wouldnt have a problem with the "living room car" thing specifically. Retrofuturism and weirdass 50s corvettes can stay out of 2460 trends though.

That is possibly the dumbest thing I've read today. That regulation as it pertains to sec that is. Also it being "regulation", but not being on the Wiki tells me it's not fully official. So I'll default to the wiki one. The only real reason I'm iffy on the item is that I dont like the idea of a custom item solely existing to argue regulations. That's like one of those annoying things I can see happening every shift before regular heads of staff just start blanket banning you about it. At which point, why even have it? Not to mention the idea of the item is just to argue regs sounds like ass. If it was to argue something else, like politics through an ATLAS poster or someshit, sure. So I'll be entirely ignoring your additional remark on the complaint format. On your second post, point three is also being entirely ignored. I definitely understand where Read is coming from with the first three rules she cited, and those seem valid. The only rule cited that seems shaky is avoid playing hero. Re: Acting on the hostage situation. Overall, though, I consider it valid too. It doesnt sound like you were helping people when the hostage taker wasnt going around, but directly jumpin into a hostage situation. As non-sec too which is definitely not kosher. So overall, I consider this ban to be valid, and not "needless". I only have the last doubt on the radio chatter which, again, I'll check once I get home. Other than that, I have no further questions, nor a need for clarification with the information provided here. Assuming I dont find anything that raises eyebrows and more questions in the logs, I'll close this 24 or 48 hours from now based on availability. I will also post my findings from the logs, regardless of whether or not it makes me ask more questions.

Pretty sure that in-lore, the Icarus is there explicitly to protect the Aurora and Exodus, or at the very least patrol their space. We just don't hear anything about the Icarus, except when drones malfunction or when heist/merc shuttles port without turning on their stealth system.
