Do we *need* to explain how an evil, eldritch Outer God from beyond the veil should work? Not understanding is like, one of the main themes in general cosmic horror and the Cthulhu Mythos. I, uh, just wanna point out real quick. Liquid fire is the least arbitrary thing, by your standards. The idea of liquid fire is very realistic and there's things like napalm. Sure, it's more of a gel, but it's basically the idea of "liquid" fire.

P sure all antags are canon. So Vampires and Wizards do exist. So it isn't just "mysterious elements", it's straight up magic and the undead do exist.
