I've always imagined assistants as paid interns. They're not really there to do anything specific and aren't currently in a trade school like the apprentice roles. Just someone to fetch coffee or participate in projects and/or volunteer to be experimented on by Medical/Science if they're a mad lad.

It's your resident Assistant main, Dronz. Here to suggest some buffs to Assistant, direct and indirect. 1. Access buff. I think that as a non-department role, Assisant is unique in that it can be literally anything. I think that at the least, assistants should get access to maintenance, if not access equal to that of another unimportant and easily forgotten roll: The Janitor. 2. Aux tool storage. I think we should make Auxiliary Tool Storage general access, as opposed to simply being behind maint access as a soft barrier against non-maint roles. 3. The Multitool Conspiracy. I think we should increase the spawn rate of multitools, and add a chance for non-budget gloves to spawn in both tool storages. This will be a boon to everyone without engineering access who may need to do electrical work, and antags alike, as well as stop people from rushing the coin at round start. 4. Everybody Welds. Add a chance to spawn welding goggles/masks in the tool storages as well. They already have a chance to spawn in Aux. tool storage as part of the equipment lockers, so maybe add an equipment locker or two to primary storage. 5. Fist of the Grey Shirt. Add a new martial arts manual that is only spawnable by antags. Reading it will make it so you can only punch, and punching on different intents has different effects. Help intent only deals halloss damage, like pulled punches. Disarm has a higher chance of RNG knock down and knock back. Grab has a chance to make them 'see stars' which works as a flash. Harm has a higher chance to knock them out with RNG. *Edit: Because I'm stupid and forget that sarcasm doesn't come through, the fifth suggestion is a joke. I'm sorry.

It's based on the Colt SAA, which is still being used ICly, as a sidearm of the Dominian military iirc. [Citation needed] Alongside that, this is still a loud and proud gun. No silencer, and it isn't a big hand cannon. It's a single-action army.

I like it. While it's really odd, something like a cross between an IPC and a Borg, but it's also very unique in it's own right being a hologram projection. Such technology already exists, and this seems like a cheaper alternative to Shells ICly, but OOCly it's really an ingenious design. You've got my +1

I remember neural laces from Bay. Someone said it makes it easier to take someone out of the round when in reality it's the exact opposite. You can get headgibbed and have the lace survive, and as long as you have a backup or a willing body donor if you've got that in your records, you're good to be cloned. Unless the gimmick is collecting laces, that is. In which case it's a gamble to see who gets cloned in what body.

Not only am I bumping this, I am saying that I support it because the current suits look like a plastic toy suit or an airtight suit for indoor enviroments as opposed to a suit meant to be worn for an extended amount of time in EVA.

I remember there was something like this for Security in Apollo code a while ago, and I support it. There used to be three in the vault, so you can have three doors forced open at a time, and then you'd have to take them off and move them, not so many that they can get through a whole department but enough that they can get around and maneuver well enough for a plan to work.

Yes, shrapnel is going to be picked up from maint/broken tables/created from other broken things.

I would like the ability to add shrapnel to a blank round to make an improvised/custom shotgun load. Only shrapnel to make it a shotgun shell, because improvised slugs would be very, very powerful. Too much so. It would obviously not be a blank shell any more at that point, so "Improvised shotgun shell" would fit as a name, but the shell would keep the white "Blank" shell look. It'd make a good addition for improvised shotguns, given that the main problem is getting ammunition.

We have yet to get modular pants.

I know this will start arguments due to it's nature, but I have had enough. The .357/Traitor revolver is ridiculous. It can remove limbs in one shot, or take someone entirely out of the round if you target the head. It's a pistol that does more damage than any rifle in the game, and shotguns too. It can be hidden in a holster or in a bag, and it's pretty cheap to get ammo for if you hack an autolathe or just visit Cargo for their inevitably hacked lathe. The revolver seems like a cheap fallback for bad traitors to use if their gimmick goes sideways, just grab it and start disabling all of Security with hand/foot gibbing. Overall, I think that it shouldn't be powerful enough to break bones/gib limbs in one shot, if you want to do that it should be a weapon too large to fit in a bag. The hand cannon should be no more.

-1 I can't run a no-bag character with the gas masks. They were meant to just be new sprites for our current gas masks but the coders had different ideas. Either have the devs make the masks smaller, or keep it as-is imo.

We already have this if you get hit in the head iirc. I've definitely been cut off trying to speak on Aurora.

You do know that instruments lag the server, right? It can be pretty bad when RNG spawns a bunch and then people end up playing them.

I've RP'd with Hocka often. They're pretty good at sticking to lore, and they're great at RPing as a whole. I have no choice but to +1 Another Ioraks to add to my harem. Soon the family will be mine to control.
