I see no reason to disagree. +1

They used to be stronger, funnily enough. I wouldn't be entirely adverse to 3 ninjas if the built-in 'passably good by Toxins standards' bomb that activates on death and tends to kill 3-5 people around them were removed, and replaced with the suit simply bricking or frying beyond usage on the ninja's death.
-
I imagine it's lost on people that the farthest Robotics can construct are exosuits designed for Security/Asset Protection purposes. Not Kaiju-slaying war machines or Metal Gears.
-
3 ninjas sounds like absolute suffering for the crew, on the other hand.

So long as there's visual distinction, in both the sprite and immediate examine-text.

The longer a round goes, the more of a mess it tends to be. Unless Extended were more common I'd be against this seeing as a lot of modes are already 'Antag causes huge mess that makes everything vaguely unpleasant for the rest of the round, Command too afraid to call emergency shuttle, people left to deal with a fucked-up station and a fifth of the crew dead and unable to play for 2-3 more hours'.

Can we make these make cloaking devices within the scanner's range shimmer again, as well? That was the most interesting use of it back in the day.

This looks interesting enough that I'll actually want to play the game mode again. As it were, I don't see it possibly ending up anywhere near as bad as Crossfire. If I may suggest, have the six softsuit bundle come w/ gas masks and extended emergency oxygen tanks as well.

It reminds me of a 'hunter's winter coat' sort of design. It's hard to describe exactly but pic related is the closest I could find to what I'm talking about.
-
Can the ones on the left be kept in the loadout (as an armour-less civilian version)? It's a separate but rather nice coat style that'd be a shame to see gone entirely, and might even be nicer if they were to receive the 'pick your colour' treatment.

I hope you see the conflicting point in this statement. If you insist on these jackets, let them remain separate from the dress uniform (that you've tried to remove and change before). Especially as these remind me more of pic related than a proper dress uniform.

[2 DISMISSAL; Bin 07.01.2020] Security Skirts (Again)
Carver replied to Snakebittenn's topic in Archive
Under no circumstance should a uniform be designed impractically for it's department. Skirts do not belong in Security, nor Engineering, nor Research nor Cargo (and let's throw in particular roles in Medical like Chemist, Surgeon and Medical Doctor into that bucket as well). If such were ever added I'd hope to see them offering no protective values to the legs (and let's throw in some fabricator/lathe hazard RNG as well). -
My only issue with this event, other than wondering why there's lethal acids in the scrubbers, was more on how you could be affected by the smoke through walls and other barriers (especially awful if said smoke is the aforementioned acid). Is it a problem when the event itself lasts a total of 2-3 minutes at the most? It's presently less effort and time to just ignore it and wear internals, so if someone wishes to expend fuel welding something they'll have to unweld about 80 seconds later, I'd say let it function.

I would expect our playerbase to be a bit more trustworthy than Bay's. Though, one probably shouldn't be able to move fast on the floor anyways possibly excluding racial bonuses for something like Vaurca. I'd rather not see the only valid option for civilians and other sorts caught in a crossfire nerfed.
-
I like the idea but you'd have to flesh it out more than just a couple overly long sentences.
-
I truly don't believe our mechs would be anywhere near capable of that, nor do I believe any faction in the lore would have mechs with that sort of speed and (as Skull mentioned) articulation.
-
They're large and as powerful as any firearm when used right, for that alone I don't think they should be easy to store.
-
I'd prefer to keep the crafting menus separate, the other issue being that most of these items used for such a repair are instant-use. You place rods, then a floor tile, then more rods if you wish to reinforce said floor tile. I'd be very upset if I accidentally clicked on my rods in-hand and it reinforced the ceiling, to which I now can't get them back.
-
Reworking their use in construction sure, remove no. Despite their odd behaviour it's somewhat useful for them being able to stack, and they hold a fair value to cargo as a commodity. It would also make sense if they were usable in the construction of makeshift armour in a heat-resistant (but not bullet-resistant) fashion.
-
Agreed with the above two. I would potentially understand a pre-built sauna if we worked at the Odin, but an excessive amount of recreational activities available from a baseline will eventually make the station feel more like a resort than a research and mining station. It's a cool idea for an engineer to build in his free time but I wouldn't like to see it become a standardized thing.

I support this, but I'd also accept a compromise of letting it fit on the waist slot or the suit storage slot of department-appropriate overwear.
