I've been a dick to people in the aurora community for the last few months (at least). I would like to apologize for this. I've let issues in game and outside fester. This has made me a bitter and unpleasant person to be around. I may not be able to be friends with everyone on the server, but I would like to at least be tolerated. I am sorry and want to work on my attitude going forward with the server. I could write more, but I feel this is good enough to get my point across. Have a good day!

Having a basic grasp thanks to a guide but really learning something ICly isn't a bad thing at all. The point of the wiki is to guide players, not hold their hands and give all the answers. Still if the page is too vague and becomes useless, that is a problem. I will speak with LanceLynx and the devs to see what needest be done.

This actually seems very legit, and Psychiatrist is really the only part of medical that truly interests me to make a character for. I would love to see some form of this used for the role.

I'm pretty bad with dates all things considered and that was an oversight on my part. I wanted to push they were longtime citizens to Mendell and long lived Skrell I have changed the portion of the app to now say: Now moving onto: By him being sheltered I didn't mean he has no contact with other species. That would be impossible. I simply meant that he had mostly interacted with Skrell. His parents are Skrell, they trust Skrell more and want what is best for their child. He is Skrell and gravitates toward staying around Skrell more than others. It is a bit of discrimination against other species on him and his family. They aren't openly racist or anything like that, they are just bias to their own species. They live on Mendell because it is a nice place to live while working for NT. However, if it is believed moving them somewhere else would be more beneficial I would love to hear advice on where. Now for the advertising the app more. I posted this app last week thinking, "Wow I don't have too much to do this week, and I should be able to get on and play some this weekend so I'll have plenty of time to advertise." Then I got pretty busy and sick last week, then was unable to get on my computer properly for the weekend due to visiting family away from my apartment. This week is looking to be fairly busy as well, but I should be able to get a couple rounds for the next couple of days. I'll try to get my app out there more, but with how my schedule likes to go nuts I can't make promises. I know my activity fluctuates a lot. University likes to throw curve balls and sometimes I just don't have interest in playing even when I do have time. If my activity being this way is a problem and/or I don't get the feedback you feel is best for the app, I will completely understand it not getting accepted. I'll take what I've learned from the app, work on it some more, and hopefully get it out when I really have time to play the game again. Thanks again for the feedback Loow!

In the month(s) I've been sitting on this app, I've changed the name around 3 times. I could have sworn I double checked to ensure I had the proper name listed this time. Either way I have fixed the naming issue. And I want his parents to be a pleasant duo, and I want if they are actually pressuring him or if it's all in his head to be a thing that is learned through experiences with him. Thanks for the feedback man.

Ah, actually makes sense. Still an extra silly step in my opinion; however, I could see it adding better RP flavor. My opinion will remain neutral on this overall. I think carry weight is a good thing, but at the same time I think SSD people should be easy to remove from the round.

"...easy to find a roller bed or stretcher..." That seems true for Medical. As non-medical am I suppose to hound medical for a stretcher or roller bed? Is medical now the only department that is suppose to deal with SSD? Still I wouldn't mind carry weights and such mattering for moving items and such. That'd be kind of neat. I don't like that you specifically call out SSD. I feel targeting the removal of SSD people is silly.

I'll be honest here. There are not many good CEs on Aurora. There are many amazing engineers who fill that role, yet they have no leadership abilities. There are some who are not even good engineer nor are the good leaders. And then there are a couple that are actually capable at both. Anyway being an Engineer where your lead CANNOT lead, sucks. I've seen Tsemir on the manifest a few times, but haven't properly interacted with him. I don't usually do a +1 or -1 one on apps anyway, so this one will be no different. Yet I'll give a detailed opinion on Tsemir when I am able to properly interact with him anyway. Still I have some questions. 1. I see you have been here for about a month. I don't think that's too early to apply for a lead role if you've got the gumption and knowledge of department. What is your opinion on engineers not using the engineering channel to communicate? I mean proper on the job communication: Who is going where? Who is doing what? What supplies are needed? These are questions I see unanswered most times I play engineering and it makes it hard for me to come back to the department I enjoy playing. 2. How would you rate your own leadership abilities? Playing a character is one thing. Being a leader something else entirely. Being able to play a character and being a leader, is not easy and why I feel most CEs (and some heads in general) really fail at taking on their head roles. Well just two for right now. Thought I had more, but I woke up extremely early. Don't take my scrutiny as a hope you fail. I don't. God knows I wish for more competent CEs. I'm just cautious.

Synono is actually on the wiki team and could probably handle most of that easily.

Alright, if you've worked on the char and gotten him to a position like this and others agree it's fine. I can't argue against it. Well I could, because it's a sudden jump and I think it's an item that will just be used to flaunt, but we've already made entire discord servers and IC organizations for people to flaunt stuff around. I won't say I support this item, but I am not against it either.

These are all new things to me for Drago. Last I remember he was kind of a bumbling idiot in engineering. Competent enough to not kill everyone, but someone attached directly to Sid who did most of the heavy lifting while Drago picked up some of the slack.

How long has Jensen worked with NT? This just sounds like a very huge thing and last I remember Jensen was still very new to the company and you are to Aurora. Not trying to stifle creative freedom, this just seems like a huge deal and something to flaunt around as opposed to bring genuine roleplay to.

One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: To me the Skrell are the most interesting alien race, despite the snarling of most Unathi mains. I find their civilization and history very interesting. They have been around for a very long time. When other civilizations were really conquering their worlds, the Skrell were colonizing the stars. A connection to this history in some way fascinates me. The fact they are not physically imposing but are instead quite intelligent. They focus on science and logic as opposed to dreaming, but they are not emotionless or cold. They have existed for a long time and have achieved so much. They still sit on a high seat of power in the galaxy. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: The Skrell have been around much longer than humanity or the other races, and have held a seat of power almost the entire time. Ker'los has been sheltered most of his life. He has attended all Skrell private schools, and his interaction with other species is very minimal. Despite studies and his parents help, Ker'los is very confused when around other species. He has learned to hide this confusion well under a layer of dedication to his work. Ker’los understands what his parents went through to have him born. He studies hard and has a goal of becoming the best in his field. Having a fondness for plants, Ker’los has taken to studying in the field of Xenobotany. In all honesty, he would be fine working as a simple gardener. It is the fact his family are both distinguished scientists that made him feel he must work in the scientific field. He keeps a number of potted plants around his dorm and will always look to help those who wish to learn how to care for plants. He has a strong handle of basic plant care, but in the realm of Xenobotany, he still has some to learn. What do you like about this character? Hey there! I'm the newest Wiki Maintainer Manager and I'll be handling this app within the next week. Sorry for taking so long for a reply. I just got the job a couple days ago and the last Manager, AgentWhatever, became insanely busy with RL things insanely fast. I'm going to meet with and try to get the current maintainers organized, before really considering this app. I am hoping to have everything set with those who are currently a maintainer by Monday. You've made a very good story about a skrell, and you make a pretty good app. You seem to understand the lore and are willing to play the skrell. I like that your backstory is a story, that's pretty nice. I usually criticize apps for not showing us enough personality and growth there in, and I won't start saying yours is the first showing too much. However, I feel there is little said here about the character's history. I would like to know more about his schooling, childhood, previous jobs before the last one went terribly. Things like that would be fantastic and help show that you understand the lore and how it shapes a character. Still it might not be necessary it is something I like. Now for your characters. I have a little experience with Witcher II and Kii (I think). Witcher II is a shell that doesn't make me scream internally all the time. That's a plus. Kii is a Vaurca. That's all I can say about Vaurca. They are Vaurca. You play them like a Vaurca, so you know how to play other species. However, I can't fully judge your RP skills and that's mostly my play time, plus departments I usually play. So I think you have a solid app. MAYBE add some more actual history to the backstory, maybe not. I'd let Loow weigh in on that beforey ou do anything. I like the app, even though sadly I've had little interaction with your characters. I did enjoy your story and believe you have talent writing characters. If you are capable of translating that to roleplay you're a solid RPer. I wish you luck man.

Actual Thought Process: "...taking things apart and putting them back together..." Please be an Engineer not Scientist. "Engineering" YES! App seems pretty good and though I haven't interacted with Tailson's not PAI character, his PAI PocketBuddy doesn't make me want to jump out the nearest window. That is saying a lot compared to my generally EXCESSIVELY negative opinion on PAIs. Though I would love to see more about the character's, well, character. I know it can be really hard in a app, but I love reading little backstories and learning more about their journey to being qualified for station duties. Like their family life, university experience, and possible previous jobs. Still a solid enough app and I'm trusting you to be a good squidman.
