You cant just say it without meaning as that tells me you will do the same thing again. The issue and difference in the bans is, while Crystel did take the suit from robotics and attempted to chase antags with it, they had not gone fully through with it and were admitting of there wrong doing. A punishment is to hope the player learns what they did wrong so its not repeated and the behavior is noted. Crystel admitted they were wrong and showed they learned there lessen so I felt that lifting the ban was appropriate and changing it to a warning, and if they do it again they will receive a perm sec ban again. The difference here is the Ninja claimed you asked them for instructions on the suit and they gave vauge instructions on the modules, which you took a experimental hardsuit from a intruder that was stored in the armory, as the warden mind you, then used a energy blade to attack a antag in hand to hand combat. This is a clear example of powergaming and validhunting, my question is, can you or do you understand what you did wrong here and how can we ensure you dont repeat this happening?

While this is semi ok for a gimmick, thats when it goes downhill as he begins to make essentialy most working around the issue unavailable and suggests we all move into the command center while he stalled to try and get a synth take over going, which ended up not happening, however at this point most of the crew was confined to the command center. While I was outside helping a injured chef who fell down the elevator get to command bunker to get medical, somebody brought the idea up of calling a shuttle, which when I went back upstairs after ahelping to do this, used the spare id in the captains office to call for a evac shuttle as the AI had left us in the dark as to what was happening while it tried tio figure out synth take over without the proper borgs to do so. Upon calling the shuttle the AI recalled it and shut the power off in the office I was in, then wordlessly blowing up the APC right next to me, causing me to become injured and die in the hallway as i died to my injurys and the now vented command hallway. Multiple others died in the hall aswell as the air was vented out. Overall, this gimmick left a horrid taste of malf in my mouth, there was a clear lack of actual roleplay with the crew besides announcements about a bombing them him blowing apc's up while he stalled for the synth take over, and a general amount of non interaction aswell. Dieing is apart of the game and apart of the round, I accept that I died and that my death was valid, what I do not accept is how wordlessly they killed me with no interaction ,they could of even called the holopad and had words with me but they did not do this, and simply recalled the shuttle and blew me and the office up to get the spare ID gone and remove any way to call for a evac. Due to the complaint being more of how the punishment was placed and the length of it, the punishment was designed to ensure crystel learns that this behavior is not ok. Following discussion with them I believe they are understanding of the issue, and I will be lowering this to a warning, however if it repeats in the future it will be placed back to the original punishment. sound good?

Right so, after looking over this situation, There is a majority of things that went wrong here. Firstly starting with Rusty ordering the borg to engage frag grenades. Up until this point, things were relatively calm. The issue begin with Rusty ordering the borg to engage grenades, which they then fired a grenade out, followed by the TTV being thrown by the Mercs aswell, followed by the mercs for the most part being wiped out then the remaining merc detonating the nuke. I believe that security itself could of done a very very better job in how they conducted themself, moreso on the part of the Head Of Security, however that does not excuse the actions of the Merc team who escalated this far beyond where it needed to go with the frag grenade being launched at security, then the TTV and Nuke. I have talked to most of the partys involved and have come to the conclusion that, this while the merc gimmick was very cheesy in the sense of wanting Columbo, the situation would of been avoided had one of the mercs not ordered the borg to fire a grenade right at that instant. In the future if something like this is questioned if this is ok to do it should be ahelped so staff can give guidance on this. With this being said, the merc who ordered the grenade be fired will be handled, however for the other Mercs, I will be applying warning them of there behavior and poor escalation, the TTV being thrown after the mercs engaged first wasnt really needed and again could of been avoided had the one merc not escalated this further. Further more I will begin a internal conversation to develop rules about nuke deployment in the future, while the merc who survived the TTV was alone and surrounded, I do not feel detonating the nuke itself was the best option here and should of been avoided. However, I feel certain members of security should of been abit more cooperative with the situation, the Head of security especially lacking really any fear rp will be warned for this.

Right to to get this resolved, me and Yonni have decided on this. The use of telescience was valid, theres no rules against making calculators or using them as long as you arent using it to antag or shit around or benefit yourself, he was attempting to aid crew and was trying to extend the round. However the issue in this lies with the syringe, making chloral hydrate itself isnt against the rules and in the circumstances, if he was cornered and Kaed rushed him, stabbing him and running off would be fine, however Sim chose to rush Kaed, endangering himself and directly attacking them when he wasnt in direct danger. The line was crossed there and for this we will be applying a warning to Sim

A pending PR has no relevance as its not ingame yet or going to be ingame until its approved. The only two custom item ID's are for people who dont play anymore and this precedent was placed after those were accepted. Having a identification card or title with a special title on it only leads to further problems.
