Matt is a diligent wiki maintainer with a lot of interest for the game, and a good person in general. He seems to have recovered from his burnout and on a spree to be an excellent contributor to our society little community here. Nothing but mad respect for the guy. Personally, I tend to disagree with others in this thread, and I find your roleplay pretty subpar - not that this kind of feedback really matters. John Grey is a pretty dumb joke. As for the app itself, why was a Xion chassis chosen for xenobiological work? If it's an agricultural robot, why did it suddenly get shipped off to be a slime researcher, which has little to nothing to do with actual agriculture? A xenobotany AND xenobiology combo also kind of borders on unreasonable - we're talking about PhD level knowledge here, and ability to actually advance research in this regard, not just operate machinery. The notice about its skills in euthanizing animals also seems edgy and unnecessary, not to mention not very original (we already have Sterben with the same kind of attitude). All in all, very barebones application from a player with mediocre roleplay. Not a lot of thought was put into it. -1 from me.

I don't understand what this idea even is. What do you want to get whitelisted? Making antag gimmicks? Antags on manifest? Buffed traitors?

Yes. Research needs a rework from the ground up, not more stuff tacked onto it. This is a waste of dev resources and time that could be spent elsewhere.

Not really? People seem to request lots of things from me. Not really? Sure, the experimental welders are trash, but guns for security are pretty good, advanced health analyzers are very important with the med nerf, and the crew often has all sorts of other requests. So, what they're doing now? So, what they're doing now? The research funds are used extremely rarely by scientists, because it's really inconvenient to access them. Moreover, the bounty system already exists to reward scientists for research - and it's less clumsy than getting your money from a head that may or may not exist. Anomaly cores already exist.

Yeah, it's not immediately obvious if a liaison is working for NT or another corporaiton, even though they'd be perceived very differently. It's not written on your ID or anywhere, people just have to ask you or assume you're NT.

I don't feel good about a response team that purely consists of a whitelisted species. Imagine the following hypothetical situation. It's lowpop, and an ERT has been called. Kataphracts roll, but there are no Unathi whitelistees on the server/wanting to play a Kataphract right now. Do the players on the server just hang in limbo without a response team, or does it require several whitelisted players to be present to be able to roll? If a Unathi whitelist is not required, how can you be sure that the lore of your species is reflected properly? ERT and TCFL have extremely basic lore to back them up, and can be played by a no-personality human if need be. This, however, serves an explicit purpose of promoting Unathi lore - what do you do if the players that play as Kataphracts simply don't know it and are just there to kill? You are also making a very large gameplay change. Gameplay-wise, what do Kataphracts accomplish that ERT and TCFL do not?
