When the wizard got all their items confiscated and put in a locker hadn't they exhibited teleporting, EMP, some sort of stun projectile, plus accessing secure areas? If all that's true I dunno if its fair to call this meta. Also if the order for lethals was given after the brig was EMPe (this happened right?) theeeeen its kinda valid. There's some points Im missing but its not intentional, sill at work.

You have me seriously conflicted sierra, I like you as a person and as a player. You can however get quite nasty to staff when your ahelps aren't answered and things and have ragequit more than once in game. It leads me to believe you don't handle stress and frustration very well. Also I won't pry into why you initially pulled the app or why you decided to reinstate it, however it can make you appear a bit indecisive. Are you sure you want to be a forum mod? How do we know you want quit it in two weeks? Some positives, nobody can deny your experience or indeed your work ethic. I've seen it firsthand you doing all the "desk work" for the DO corps. I think you have good initiative.

I really like this, this might be a fair compro is to the "make bragging more fun" discussion that's gone on for a bit. Although, if its solely up to the CMO to actually implant them or a captain override I REALLY don't wanna see heads of security trying to arrest or threaten the CMO.

Sierra, the antags DID do something. They teleported to the AI core and the armory, used an EMP power in the armory, and also used a stun spell on officers. Also lets please not turn this into a cause for everyone to soapbox on, please only post if you are involved.

Ok so, seems to me the wizard was confirmed to have some sort of tech to emit a large EMP burst, able to teleport, looks like also a stun spell on the officers? Dunno... Anyway! The wizard also had trespassed into the armory and the AI core. Given all of this i feel like the HoS want wrong in detaining them longer and interrogating them. Lets be real here, its a trillion dollar state of the art research station in isolated space. Its entirely reasonable to assume all newcomers with suspicion and even to entirely discredit an excuse of "I got here by accident" The cadet/captain/whoever else trying to argue and interrupt the situation seemed to have made the situation much worse. I don't know why a lowly cadet is so flagrantly questioning their direct Superior's judgment but oh well.... Yes it would have been nice if he had simply let me walk free after the twenty minutes but the head of security's primary job is obviously security and letting someone like that walk around wouldn't exactly be a smart thing to do. Also, the I AM THE LAW bit, I see players say this a lot in isolated and rare instances. Saying it once and then even amending it is not a topic for this complaint.

Hello, you listed tablespoon as being involved. Did he handle this issue? Was it ahelped? Or did he encourage you to write this? Also wow you guys even have the logs ready to go. Ill read through am before I make any initial assessments.

I actually hate ERT, I think it punishes good antags and having it available during nuke rounds breaks things in an absurd way. I like how you put it, a ship full of valid hunters. Don't make it a random chance though, take it away completely the same way we do it for mutiny rounds.

Jboy you can justify literally anything IC with reasons why you did or did not agree something. the bottom line however is you stood in the way of an experiment on an extended round. You could have done a million things to get involved or help out SOME way with the test, hell you where playing the RD at the time. The RD is arguably the most important person on the station, you're literally the head of the reason the station exists. You didnt find it fun? valid, thats 100% ok but do NOT use that as an excuse to try to shut down something others ARE going to enjoy. (and did) Roleplay is a giant game of improv and one of the golden rules of improv is to say "yes".

Gonna echo vertigo here a bit, its nothing against you personally but in particular i feel like you only ever argue things when you feel victimized or attacked. I also really take issue with the way you reacted to the atmos experiment during an extended round bboth in character trying to prevent it and out of character making comments when players where discussing it. I don't think that's the standard we should set for whitelisted players and as such i can't endorse this app. -1

I was wondering if you where going to make an application Frances, frankly i would love to see you as a part of the team. I think you have great arguing skills and are able to see an issue from multiple perspectives. You are not afraid to disagree with anyone or call someone out on some BS and i respect that a lot. +1 i think theres enough reason to at the very least give you a trial.

Hi w3b, so the way we are doing this round of mod apps is kinda in "waves" we accepted some trials for a first wave of two weeks and then evaluate from their who gets to stay and who gets the boot (if any). after this period we will start with a new batch of trials. Its partly why you havent had any discussion here but there has been discussion on all apps behind the scenes. you do however have a right to know criticisms levied against you and its our fault for not bringing it up sooner. so ill bring it up now. There have been criticisms that you can get a bit "salty" when things go awry in a round and that you arent a very "roll with it" person when it comes to RP. How do you respond to this? How able are you to make tough decisions? sometimes we have to ban someone who we REALLY dont want to, but rule violations can only pile up so high and a line has to be drawn some where, what are your thoughts on this?

Lets make sure that kaz want spoken too of course but from what you said it looks like spoon only spoke to one who killed you in the end. If he was not spoken too ill see how about getting him to post his side of things here and check some server logs.

Well frankly it is about winning and losing, your RP is you lost and the security guys get to perma brig you. There is pretty much nothing you can do that's easy on officers so they will actually do it and not "easy" on criminals. Outside of perhaps a reduced sentence for a loyalty implant but.... That opens another can of worms. Not everything is going to be fun and not everything has to be. Especially not when its a punishment.

Uhhh no. There needs to be risks to combat and infections are an important part.

The thing about infections is the longer they go untreated, the harder they become to treat. I don't know how you are getting patients with so many INTERNAL infections but if they wait that long to come to medical after getting hurt there isn't a whole lot you can do outside of immediate amputation.

Funnily enough I agree with sue and delta here, being brigged isn't supposed to be fun and if you get perma brigged as an antag too bad so sad you lost, deal with it. I will also echo delta's point. Security isn't going to care about whatever regulations come as a result of this. There is no way they aren't going to be anything more than horribly frustrating when you have cultists murdering the crew, lings eating all of medical or gruff mcgriffer stealing the spare. Even if shit hasn't hit the fan yet, why would security go through all the trouble of setting up an alternative such as forced labor, tests, or some other activity when they can just brig and be done with it? Oh you want to try enforcing this IIVory even OOC? Congratulations, your security players are not going to play anymore.

Alright so, ive read over this and spent a good deal of time thinking this one over. I really feel like a majority of this stemmed from mrimatool being unaware of our lore on executions. the only way to "execute" someone without going to prison for the rest of your life is borging someone, which isnt recognized as an execution by the republic of biesal. Second i do really feel tool went way over the line here. We cannot have loyalty implanted individuals be doling out executions, i think he escalated conflict in a poor way but i also think he wanted to make the round "interesting" by being a more totalitarean and iron fisted captain. Considering he was warned by me and spoken too by soapy i feel like going further than that at this point would be inappropriate. Make no mistake, im adding a note to tool about this complaint and next instance of breaking pretty much any rule will result in a hefty ban as well as perhaps a white list strip.

Hey thundy, im glad to see you're still interested in joining the mod team here. I have a few questions for you. First i have seen quite a bit of your conduct on our server, I feel you are empathetic and very kind, perhaps to a fault. When we have to PM someone and it turns out we have to give X punishment or tell them not to do Y they can become quite argumentative or justify it to seem reasonable. Do you feel you will be able to remain firm and fair? Second, what is your opinion of our server rules? do you think they must always be followed and enforced? or do you believe there is wiggle room here and there? why? and lastly i would like to know how willing you are to disagree with other staff? even if its the head admin?
