For a new person of that rank to show up the character would have had to get stored. So that's kinda moot.

I figured changeling was the only antag that an LI'd character could be as it's not that character and the LI wouldn't be there anymore. However, I'm sure implants get checked before being sent to the station, so that throws that to the wind.

I'm for this at the lower values. Say 5% chance while running to slip, or maybe a bit less. It's be reason to have it cleaned without causing the mayhem that a higher chance presents. People in combat don't really bleed that much that fast and I feel the slipping mechanic if set that high would cause melee combat to become a joke. This is on top of the medical side of things where they learn to walk or clean up the blood as they go, since magic space cleaner exists.

Taking a look I don't think you've realized what the community and staff wants in respect to your OOC purposes. Your backstory also kinda clashes, with a character who apparently resents authority (The school and his parents) but wanted to be in a police/military like occupation. Also, the Tiers are pay grades, your ranks would be "Security Officer Level 1" etc.

I like Loyalty implants and their use. I'm personally against removing them entirely but that's me. I'd like to see what makes the community the happiest happen though.

While I agree that causing dissent amongst the staff is an issue for an item like this, I can't help but love what an implant is designed to do. It prevents high powered ranks from being an antag as a number one. Imagine. Traitor McCaptain is traitor. "Whelp. I guess I go to the armory and clear it out before sec can stop me." Secondly it generates a required thought that what you are doing is best for the company. Modern history has seen ship captains bribed and gone rogue. It stands to reason that a captain here would be able to be rogue (and it's probably happened in the past). This is perfect reason for the implant to exist. Can we give it directives for less wiggle room? Sure, but then we cut away bits of potential RP.

I think the underlying point here is that yes, you can be racist. If anyone has a problem and brings it to an official and they can find PROOF that you "dun fuk'd up" there will be repercussions because the company is saving face. No one bitches? No trouble is had. Loyalty implanted characters should simply know that doing so in such a manner is against the interests of NT and therefor should not do so. Simple as that. Be racist. tell bugs they are bugs. If someone reports you, get rekt. If your a head of staff, make sure it can't be proven.

Ok. Lets take this raw number and break it down. You are offered free housing, don't take it? tough shit. -5100 = 51.3k. Taxes, Beisel seems like a dick that would instate retarted income tax. -40% (20502) = 30,798. Now lets smack the idea of benefits... Mandatory payment for all possible coverage including death benefits to your family... -10,000 (reasonable for cloning, medical, prosthetics and repairs?) = 20,798. That's not so bad a final number for a yearly income.

I'd like to note that dresses and skirts were worn by working females for a long time, even in sports jobs. I've not been here a year quite yet, I joined in maybe april or may, and it was some time after that when you started getting in messes. However, as I said, Your plus one from me was only tentative on the rocky past. I want to trust our ability to make solid characters and play by the rule, etc. I would love to see characters that inspire people again, just like Lilac helped give me reason to make my IPC application.

I'm on the fence here. Sleepy was one of my inspirations behind getting an IPC whitelist application with the character Lilac a while back. However I saw serious shenannigans go down that caused Sleepy to lose the whitelist. I'd like to say, with recent improvements, that I can trust Sleepy to make an IPC withing the rules and lore that won't be a problem, but I cant be positive. You have a very tentative +1 from me.

That's the thing though... The RP of dealing with the implant is the kind of thing that makes it great. In Rev rounds, my captain tries to assure everyone that he is working to fix the problem and asks that everyone just follow the incoming directives to make CC understand that their call was a mistake. Derringer is a bleeding heart who has been with NT for far too long. He cares about the company and his job, but he also cares about the jobs under him.
