  1. After meeting the player's characters a few times and getting solid interaction at least once, I can definately give this a +1. I feel (s)he has the mindset that would make for a great addition to the Tajaran players on a positive note, which we do need as of late apparently. I look forward to meeting your Tajaran on station some day.
  2. So it seems, especially since SS13 caused all the issues.
  3. My uncle has type one... You don't typically inject insulin for type 2....
  4. Blue hardsuits for bluesec. Period. Lets get it all themed.
  5. My Avitar right now is Qwerty, not on my own PC so I don't have the larger image to upload. I did find my old photobucket, however. Derringer was made as a medieval/fantasy character originally played in a D&D game as a paladin (Who'd have thunk it?). He moved from RP/RPG to RP/RPG over the years. This is my only sci-fi adaption of the character, but this was his original art, he's been aged a bit and obviously dresses differently from back then. Also, I found this art like... almost twenty years ago, don't hate.
  6. dude fuck off its my first post cut me some slack Why does this feel like someone is fucking with us?
  7. As far as im aware implants arent removed after each shift. They get deactivated and turned back on when you enter a role that gets implanted. Head surgery is still something most people dont want over and over. If it gets removed for whatever reason then an actual implant would need to be used again, thiugh im not sure this will be accepted because it provides an actual in game benefit.
  8. Much better. I know the depth of change wasn' a lot, but it shows a greater articulation and I'm happy. Thanks for making the changes. I'll be paying some extra attention to your characters and I can hopefully give you a +1 soon.
  9. This. Also your only paragraph'd answer was the backstory. You only gave simple sentences for the two previous questions. Aside from mechanic, what makes a Tajara different? Why is it something different to you and what about that difference makes you want to play one?
  10. The IR in question took place during a wizard round. The character's actions were antag driven.
  11. I do actually, but it's activated by the chemicals used when washing dishes. Here's what I use.
  12. I play a deaf cargo tech/QM. hes not mute, but he has a hard time speaking since he can't hear anymore.
  13. Both that and miscomms can be explained by buttons getting stuck.
  14. Oh! Crown Royal Apple and Sprite tastes like a Jolly Rancher.
  15. Mandatory Checkpoint return. Come home, take a union break, go back to work.
  16. I have a fancy for a Vodka Collins. A Tom collins is made with gin, but the vodka collins in an obvious variant. Not a bad drink if you like something more sour, such as lemonade. If you can find a place to get it, anything with Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka is delicious. Edit: At home I tend to mix either Crown Royal or Southern comfort with Mountain Dew, just go easy you can get fucked up on SoCo fast.
  17. In the long run I don't care either way, I'll RP however I am informed by staff teams or the code. As far as being an IPC and being enthralled goes, it kinda makes sense. But someone said it happens via a bite... "Here taste my metal neck and influence my electronic brain" simply doesn't have the flavor for positronic IPCs that I'd like. I'm not arguing they should definitely be immune, I'm only arguing the thought process involved in the flavor of the actions. That's my two cents on that topic.
  18. Point four is likely for people outside of engineering to do the job. A captain might not carry tools but might be trained in engine setup. As such they can start the engine without having to collect tools first. The tools outside make sense if an Antag can get tehre fast enough to claim some/all of them, and even antags like the ninja need power so they might actually setup the engine them damn selves.
  19. All staff teams are open to members of the others with the exception of the server staff and the DO Corps. This prevents server administration (Who handles the OOC of it) from influencing the Corporate administration (Which is strictly the IC). I might be wrong on this but as far as I know you could be all three, though a server mod is also given perms on the forum and I think they are equivalent to forum mod perms.
  20. I um... Think you meant Seppuku? But anyways, I'm for this. And I think the sound produced by the borg should equate to the sprite chosen. Taking the tracked mining borg chassis and having hover sounds would be awkward.
  21. Is there a questionnaire thingy or are you expecting people to just think of their own and post why. Yes. It... Um... Wasn't a yes or no question Ten... But I choose Hastur for myself. While not quite native to Lovecraft it is hinted at in Lovecraft novels to note that the lore runs along the same lines. I choose him for his mysterious ways. Many claim to know him but they all only know facets and many of them are not the same.

  23. Whoo! 2458!
  24. Of course the classics are cool but I enjoy Settlers, Summoner Wars, Mage duels, Anima, Red Dragon Inn, Aye, Dark Overlord!, The Resistance, and one of my newest additions, Covert Action. I really like lagre scale party games, like Werewolf/Mafia/Do You Worship Chthulu and Cards Against Humanity.
  25. So, much like our existing IPCs we have creatures here that fall outside of the norm for work experience and the like. A nymph and absorb genetic material to gather knowledge, so several nymphs should be able to come together ready to be a full fledged adult, even after a few weeks/months. Right? So can a Dionae be only 6 months old and still effectively become a member of the crew? Beyond that, how do qualifications work? I'm sure most Dionae don't go to human schools or learn physics in a classroom, so how do educational requirements work? What makes a Dionae qualified to work aboard the station at all ever? How does a newly grown diona go about becoming a member of the crew? These kinda need good canon answers, please and thank you.
