How long have you been playing on Aurora?: Somewhere since may 20th-ish of this year.
Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: I wanna play command, duh. I have quite a few ideas that I'd like to actually RP out on the server. I've been mulling over whether to do this application or not since like august.
Why did you come to Aurora?: It is a HRP server in name, and despite what others may say, it is also a HRP server in fact. I don't think I can say that about other servers from my extremely limited experience with them. I've only played Aurora since I started, only ocassionally trying out other servers.
Have you read the Aurora wiki on the head roles and qualifications you plan on playing?: Yes.
Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they? Not really. Two minor notes from a few months ago that I'm aware of, probably not much else though.

Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each.

Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: Roleplay is very heavily centered around stories. People play their characters, share the stories of these characters, and upon this base, they also create new ones as they interact. It is about having fun and exploring the themes that we have written into our character's stories. Primarily fun, though. Everyone should have fun here.

What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: Besides the usual "guiding the direction of the round" crap that people write here, a head of staff is someone who has been entrusted with a whitelist. It is someone who can be relied on to be a helpful, and just a nice person. For me, at least. That, and of course, there have to be some people in charge, so order can be maintained. Not to mention that having a head of staff usually really amplifies the RP experience within a department. Science is usually very boring to me without a research director, because I don't really have someone to report my findings to and get a headpat for it.

What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: To remain loyal to the rules of the server, and to show a high RP quality standard. It is not something vague like "having an interesting character"or whatever, being a high quality RP-er just means you understand the setting you're given, the stories, and the purpose of you being here. And just not being a lazy bum about RP-ing out your character. I'd just be myself(even though I'm a lazy bum!) and, as I always do, try to improve.

Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau Ceti and how it affected your character and their career?I will talk about how it affects the CMO I'm going to make, Lizidia Immonen, since she's the only one I feel ready to play rn, but I won't mind expanding if needed when I add more characters here.
I suppose Tau Ceti is still recovering from the recent SLF activity, and is still on guard about any more illicit activity done by synthetics. I think it's a good reason for someone to be transferred to Aurora, especially a medical worker-- and even more especially if it comes with a promotion. As someone who comes from the Techno-Conglomerate, she is sympathetic to the synthetics, but is rather conflicted on the matter as a whole.

What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted? Mostly consulars/liaisons. CMO, RD, HOP... frankly, I'll probably try everything, but start off with consulars/liaisons, and CMO.

Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.:
Lizidia Immonen, CMO.
Pish'Kin Dolv'Qotav, HoP.
Gadihrin-Rhemrra Tahurjhul, RD.
A bunch of consulars for different factions that I will probably add when I'm less tired.

How would you rate your own roleplaying?: I dunno, 7/10. I don't like scale ratings. I'm a bit passive and rely on the circumstances and opportunities to create RP, as well as other people to act as initiators. I don't think it'd be a problem in command roles.

Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action? Yep.

Have you familiarized yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles? Yus.

Extra notes: I am not very experienced with spessmen but I have learned quickly. So pl0x let me RP thanks babe.

Borya is quite an amazing roleplayer despite being "not very experienced", and they do learn quickly with an great grasp on the lore of each species and in general. Their characters are very nuanced and each feel pretty distinct and are awesome to interact with, and I do look forward to how you'll handle the general stress of herding cats that is the Medical Department, as well as see how you'll have your Liasons interact with the rest of the crew.

1+

Borya is a very good roleplay and what I would define as a pretty cool guy if asked. I honestly cannot recall a single bad experience with one of their characters and have greatly enjoyed my interactions with Borya both on the server and outside of it, despite the fact that Borya lives in Novosibirsk or Blizzardograd or some other city with a giant statue of Lenin in front of every building more important than a McDonald's. Maybe they have the Lenin statues in front of McDonald's. I don't know, I don't live in the Russian Federation. Borya, please help. I am confused.

Anyways, I'm supposed to be talking about roleplay. I'm eager to see Borya tackle the medical department, and rapidly start going grey during the course of that, and we could always use more consular officers that are not either from Sol or played one time and then forgotten.

Really Swell Gamer (RSG); Big +1

Outstanding player who decided to become a lore nerd and is therefore forever shunned and to be seen as denied.

On a side note I like them. So +1

On a serious note: Good RP, has been handling stress really well, has shown multiple times that they can handle command positions when abused as made interim. I  have no doubt that they'll honor the whitelist.

I can not say something in particular because that would be rude of me towards Borya. Ever since I joined this server almost half a year now, he's always been there whenever I needed him.

He was truly my spiritual guide throughout the community itself, mechanics and the server as a whole. He gave me tips on how to improve my standing and how the roleplay actually works here ( as opposed to what I've been used to before I came to SS13).

I truly support his application as his roleplay is GREAT and you could easily notice that he cares not just about his enjoyment, but the enjoyment others receive from their interactions with him.

Borya-san. You go-go!

While I don't normally have the chance to be in the same rounds as Borya, as he's a ruskie, he's greatly enjoyable to talk to OOCly, and from the few rounds I have had with him, he is a competent roleplayer.  He's good enough to become loremaster, and I think he deserves a chance to try out for a command whitelist.

BASED AND REDPILLED GAMER +1

From what I've observed and seen, Borya's command characters are very well done, as well as they've been handling the stress and responsibility that comes with each Head of Staff role pretty well, and surprisingly managed to handle the stress of being a CMO (Herding Cats Simulator) incredibly nicely in their first command rounds.

They've been doing superb as far as I can see.

I had an extended round where Borya's services as Head of Personnel were needed and I feel like he fulfilled the role at about a 5/5 rating. There were interdepartmental issues and he helped try to get a satisfactory resolution, which is all I could really ask for from an HOP. Would complain to formally again.

Was my fellow command member as Fish King Dol Qotav (I was Hypatia, CMO). Had a lot on his plate and handled it very well from my perspective, and kept checking to see if medical was doing okay despite being understaffed. Didn't once insult me for being a synthetic, either! Great at PR! I rate Fish King as a good head of personnel that's able to handle bad situations effectively, and would love to work alongside him more.

I was the AI that round, they handled all situations incredibly well and responded to basically everything I told them. Handled multiple departments, mainly sec and supply, and ultimately kept the station together through bombs and manhack grenades. Solid +1
