If I observed discord correctly and as I frequently post there I noticed one thing, you have a tendency of playing here for about a month, maybe two and then dissapearing for three or even four. While this job is completely voluntary and we know that IRL > Space men, playtime and the ability to stick with the server is also concerned while being a moderator as it can sap a LOT of free time.

I agree on one thing said above and that is tourettes. It serves no purpose besides being absolutely fucking annoying to both the person playing and everyone around them and while these things are supposed to be annoying, this is annoying on a whole new level as all it does is spam everyones chatbox. It was removed for a good reason and should stay removed.

I admit I read the words "Degree, phD and graduation" and assumed, assumptions of assumping assumense. The question still stood, Captain's in particular are extra known for stealing peoples jobs, manily the job of other heads by directly taking command of their departments (security) for not reason at all. But I'll stop talking now before I make a bigger idiot of myself.

An enjoyable player that managed to get themselves into NTWA as their president no less just through the votes of majority. I've personally played quite a lot with them in robotics and I can attest they're capable of leading, commanding and taking charge but at the same time taking charge can be an issue. You see most of your characters seem the "Bang on wall until it falls down" kind of characters, taking charge, going first, kicking down doors and taking names. BUT admirable as it is this can be an issue, doubly so regarding an RD and that issue is stealing jobs. RD researchers are supposed to both manage staff, what exactly is being researched and how it is suppposed to be utilized, but at the same time fall into the trap of doing everything themselves because it's simply easier and they have the abillity to do it. So my question is, how exactly do you imagine these "adventures" and the general idea of how you hope to manage your department? Otherwise I have no issue with the player, their playstyle and enjoy their presence in the game, +1

These are my gripes. Bear in mind I'm not a super artist and this thing is still very nicely done for someone who basically draws in bouts of boredom and not daily or professionaly. Much better, a bit of artistic fragrance really adds to something and you provided more interesting conflict in there too. So yeah definitely support this now.

Alright, one thing I never thought I'd say about an application and that is it's over-detailed. You put in a lot of minor things that would have been fine coming out during the actual on-station RP instead of putting it as important parts of his backstory, like what he smokes and the throat, but in itself this has nothing to do with what the app is here for. What it is here for is the familiarity of the species and well I think you captured that, while I find it a bit radical and satirical that they'd execute someone over missing ammo cartridges instead of sending him to prison or just limiting his income of foodstamps, it's still within the realm of possibilities I guess? Otherwise I have no issue with the player or the application I think everything I covered is basically nitpicking. I approve.

First off, the whole backstory leading up to enrollment is good, you cover his life from start to finish and the simple description of events tells us what kind of character he's growing into, you cover the basic Tajara lore, show your knowledge about the nobles and their downfall and the charcaters backstory reflects it, very nice. But the issue is since the story is well done and connected, the bad ending becomes very noticable. For being what is technically one of the most important parts of his life it's extremely short, flavorless and bland. The thing is why would they accept someone who smuggled himself out when they have plenty of legally background clean and cheap tajara? How did he know about NT what led him to it? Wouldn't he be actually quite angry with NT since they were one of the reasons of the rebelion? The rest is well done but the ending is a bit of a slap in the face, actual RP experience is as others said mediocre to excellent depending on the mood, time of day, cycle of the moon and your menopause. So yes while I adressed my only issue I don't have a problem with giving a +1 even before that ending is patched since it has nothing to do with how you understand the species but with how your character got there. So yeah I support this

I've played with Grown by Star Light multiple times but that does make me bring up a few questions. While the position of an RD is primarly that of head scientist it is also a position as a head co-ordinator and your Dionea seems to be, well very dionea-like, very passive, responsive, more reactive than proactive which I think poises an issue in the later stages when R&D goes head over heels to print as many guns as possible and shoot a monkey in a chair for an hour or two. Joking exagaration aside, do you see your character (or yourself) changing your demeanor in any way? Why I do think it's nice to be the "Cool mom" of heads it's also important to recognize you hold responsibility over actions of everyone in R&D so how do you think you could handle these sort of more intensive situations?

Amory wasn't supposed to be there in the first place, he was informed to walk away, true, he tried to play hero and he died. Yet diamonds come from coal and just because a complaint was made for a wrong reason doesn't mean it isn't valid. But what if he just left, what was your gimmick then? Sitting there like a wet noodle? Hoping that in those remaining 10 minutes of the entire round someone would rush away from escape, grab a laser rifle and get slug shotguned by you? But you're right, giving you a security ban for this would make zero sense and a permanent security ban would be absolutely stupid. So upon your suggestion I'll give you a month long ban on antagonists, to explain Permanent ban would be a bit too much and antagonist isn't rolled enough to be felt in one week, thus a month.

Okay, I'll be taking this complaint over AND solving it in one fell swoop. First off, let me start with this, you're both wrong and right. [mention]AmoryBlaine[/mention] you could stand to be a lot less angry when you die, it's a game where people die and sadly our characers aren't main heroes and I feel like this complaint, although very valid, was made for all the wrong reasons, despite that. [mention]Bath Salts Addict[/mention] let me present you with this. You must escalate conflict in a realistic manner. Contrary to popular belief you're NOT bound by the rules as an antagonist to provide fun for EVERYONE ALL THE TIME, you're here to provide conflict but conflict that makes sense, conflict doesn't have to involve everyone, it can involve you and your victim and it's perfectly fine. You waited around rubbing your thumbs together until people were leaving so you could get easy access to armory with minimum risk, you're just as bad as the "passive" antags you described. A lot of people have the need to do something at the end of the round and rolling antag just as the round is about to end is frustrating, but that does not exempt you from the escalation rules, you can't do a complete 180 and go "Guys I'm evil now" which gets us to the next point. You must maintain character at all times. Noir, that names already gives context to your character and how you build him and want to play him. What about this is Noir? What part of throwing guns outside of the armory and going "Fite me" in comms is Noir? I could have installed a turret in the hallway and it would have provided as much conflict as you at the time. Being antag gives SOME leeway into your character, yes it makes no sense for the otherwise loving Betsy Lou to go and kill someone, but there is always some kind of motive, some kind of reason why they do this. Hell you even said Azza had a motive of killing the Unathi species and although probably on shaky reasons it was SOMETHING, your motive was "well it was end of the round and i was bored" That isn't a character motive, that's YOUR motive a players motive. What was the goal? Kill all security? Again, refer to previous topic. What my point is and you even admit to it. You wanted ot have F U N and that's fine, everyone loves fun, I love having fun why not. But there are types of fun and ways to achieve fun. This is a Heavy RolePlaying server, that means everything in the ends should or has to be achieved with escalation, roleplay and character interaction which you completely disregarded because you wanted to have a gunfight. I can see this isn't out of malicious intent, you simply misjudged a situation and though people would have fun when people just wanted the round to end and have it over with and hell maybe this complaint wouldn't be here if you lost instead of won. But the punishment would still be the same if I was in the round, the fact is you have a GIGANTIC log of notes, warnings and hell, even bans for doing precisely this, escalating situations, disregarding your character motives and going full master blaster shotgun sasster constantly to the point where it's become an actual satirical joke on the level of pickle rick in the community. You can change, you have proven that the first weeks you've played Noir before you started falling into the same pitfalls as before. Thus I'll be giving you a Permanent Security Ban so you can take a break from the security department.
