Aaron Hawkins was a wonderfully well fleshed out character, and this one sounds just as wonderful, and they play Raniyah with great competancy. I would be very interested to see how they spin off this IPC character, and would be willing to support it. +1.

I'm thinking that after a certain amount of damage is absorbed/neglected by armor, that the leg stuns are a no-go. I've definitely tried telelegging heavily armoured people (I want to say hardsuits, but it could have been riot gear, no shield,) and am certain I got several hits in, but nonetheless, they did not go down. Need some time to look through code later to confirm this. I've had a lot less than I thought I would lately.

The part with Dignitas really hit me hard. Mostly due to the fact that I didn't know your condition was this serious until now. (Although I had heard of it through other people, and most vaguely heard you speak of it.) I'm really sorry now that I couldn't find time to interact with you more, as you were definitely one of my favorite admins here, based just off seeing you in admin events and playing with you in normal rounds. (All the really cool people are leaving. Why?!) I hope the rest of the year turns out pleasant, and I wish you the best in the next few months. Do what you can until then! Go down having enjoyed yourself!

Approved. Moving to archives shortly.

Again, I'd much prefer a Skype room than TS or something requiring me to be jacked in constantly.

I'll detest this. All of Xander's characters that I've seen seem perfectly in sync with his behaviour, opinions, and thoughts OOCly, and follow through with them in the form of actions. Quite frankly, they all seem to be self insert-esque and really have no sense of variation in them aside from appearance differences and minor backstory quirks. They all behave and operate the exact same way, from what I've seen. This kind of behavior with Xander isn't and never has been exclusive to his character, Niklaus Nox. His methodology with multiple command roles (including, again, roles typically reserved for other characters of his), is consistent in a way that they are frequently put at odds with other command players(numerous player complaints involving command experiences with them), those that choose to play as subordinate roles (such as non-security jobs in this particular incident), and even numerous incidents that have ended up leaving a sour taste in duty officer chat feeds. In between using thinly constructed slippery slope conundrums and frankly mindnumbing illogical fallacies (http://i.imgur.com/L69hHBM.png), to childish declarations often contradicting the corporate regulations, usually along the lines of, 'Silence, I am the captain, do it anyway cause I say so,' they are apparently willing to disregard with or without having received a fax from CC, I definitely feel that some sort of talk needs to be had.

How easy to sabotage are we planning to make these? I see a lot of delicious opportunities for antags to cause havoc using this system. How much power would they draw from an area? Will engineering start with a couple of these in storage? I think regardless, cargo should be able to order these generators.

((He probably just tweaked the lore. Doesn't change the fact she's still most likely not going to set foot on the station outside of admin events. She doesn't really have a reason to, either, given there are Odin staff visiting it semi frequently keeping tabs. Post remains a bullet shot into the ground.)) -
This, yes. Partly for the notifications.

Project accepted. Currently underway.

More of a hip-pack, but thoughts?

Yes, allow me to pitch in as a security officer this round. As had been predicted, Jamison Stamos had indeed been captured by security for violent crimes. Whilst in custody, the detainee made it quite clear that they were capable of producing arm blades, and this made security very uneasy. We ended up treating the whole ordeal as a 'concealed weapon on a prisoner,' and deduced that the only way to remove this concealed weapon was to literally disarm them. So I contacted the head of personnel, Raymond Galloway (whom was coordinating security at the time), and requested permission to have the armblades surgically removed. After delegation with the captain and ERT leader, this matter was approved, and you were turned over to Essel to have your stabby hands taken away.

D3F417 sits quietly from their corner of the ship, watching the breaching through the ship's cockpit window for a moment, and turns its attention back to its terminal, suddenly having taken an interest to the data flow that had suddenly became available. After examining the feed for a moment, it began to work towards identifying, classifying, and sifting through the connection feed, typing quietly from its corner. ((Requesting more information on the data uplink. What sort of software are the consoles equipped with? Is cyber security software installed? Are there any files that would be eye catching, or under any high security flags/encrypted?))

Code done. Entirely up to the application process at this point.

Noted. I feel the biggest problems outlined on this thread are the fact that ninjas possess an instastun weapon(the energy shuriken that instant knockdown whoever they hit, with almost no delay, with only a very small amount of energy required to use them), and are capable of attacking people while cloaked (meaning no one can actually target them. Your only choice in fending them off is to unload a gun into where you believe them to be standing, and let's be honest, not everyone has a gun, let alone one that has the stopping power to deter/scare off someone like this.)
-
Requesting permission from OP. May we edit a poll onto the thread, with, A. Add ninja to Secret rotation (The dev team will look into the possibility of tweaking/nerfing/heavily modifying the ninja gear, most likely.) Or B. Do not add ninja to Secret rotation; keep it limited to its own game mode. (Nothing will be changed unless another post is created specifically requesting another aspect of it be changed, in accordance with the, 'one suggestion/request' per discussion rule.)

D3F417 speaks again, jamming a data drive into its laptop as it does so, 'We think we can boost our wireless adapter to give us partial if not a considerably large sweep of the vessel from this distance. We would like to do so. Best to know what we are working around.' The machine proceeds to quietly type at the bright red-backlit keyboard for a moment, occasionally tapping at the touch screen monitor. ((D3F417 attempts a close-med range data ping for any devices currently connected to the extranet, or a wireless network connection that may be based on the ship from the bottom three decks of the MSS Bay. Would there be any results?))
-
D3F417 looks up from its screen, and stares ahead at the monitor for a moment before finally speaking in a subdued, audio-clipped voice for the first time since it boarded the vessel, "Is there any software in the vessel that we can seize control of? Or is it totally blacked out, as anticipated? We find it a bit difficult to believe the current occupants haven't established a forward operating base on one of the decks, especially one that would have to possess high-powered equipment to adequately carry out their operations. Can we search for EM activity, or any active wireless networks in the area that may confirm this?"
