  1. I feel the gear/abilities/mechanics of the ninja antagonist need quite a bit of tweaking before generalizing it in a Secret RNG roll should even be considered.
  2. Hang on, so wait a tic. Before you switched accounts, was security brigging you, and you ghosted to avoid that that drew SoundScopes' attention? What was the official ban reason/warning you were given on your first account?
  3. D3F417 quietly watched the others in the group brandish their specialist gear and hardsuits for a moment, seemingly the only one not yet in EVA gear, but still seeming primarily focused on working from its laptop terminal, occasionally glancing in Shadow's direction.
  4. Naturally. Don't forget the pink shorts.
  5. Codid an spearted, hot n redy 2 go, bos
  6. D3F417 quietly sat down in the back of the shuttle area, and produced a non-descript laptop computer from its backpack, and began typing at it quietly, browsing a copy of what appeared to be some sort of source code pertaining to electrical network software, in addition to the contents of a select number of data-drives, switching them out selectively as they were needed, not intentionally seeking anyone out for conversation.
  7. Only shitler ERTs completely take command out of the hands of the heads of staff. There are circumstances where it is necessary, usually when there is conflict between the other heads of staff (cases where the captain is on a murder spree is a good example of sidestepping the chain of command.) Otherwise, you're there to assist the recovery effort. If an ERT rolls onto the station and starts to completely disregard command's authority, adminhelp it. Work with command at every turn, and delegate your efforts. There's so much more coordination when you don't have to do it all alone. As for shifting the chain of command to accommodate people, I could see myself getting behind a solution like this. Personally, I wouldn't mind moderators actively drumming this kind of behavior out, as it typically causes more destruction ICly than fixing, as is its purpose. OOCly, it just ends up with a series of complaints and round end OOC complaining. Also, concerning this: It should be noted that ERT Commanders are Doombergadminspawned and are arguably the most high ranking CC staff you're going to see, and should have a staggering amount of authority. I'm almost positive that you're referring to LEADING TROOPERS, or L/Tprs, as these are often run of the mill players. This role is given to whichever ERT joins in first. The two have similar roles, but there is a distinct change of power between the two. I wouldn't mind drawing a line on their station authority either, though.
  8. A dark blue IPC quietly boarded the hangar bay. It was dressed in black cargo pants, and a, long sleeved shirt, with a tactical rigging vest worn just over its torso, however, did not appear to be visibly armed. The only kind of gear it seemed to be carrying was a number of flares, datadrives, power cells, and some cables and wiring throughout the lightly armored vest, in addition to a dark leather messenger back slung over its shoulder. The machine quietly wandered throughout the bay for a moment, moving from one side to another, wondering if it had come to the right place, its boots thudding quietly against the hangar floor as it walked. It had paid a lot of money to get secure access to the network, stolen money, naturally, and finding this assignment - its first real task among the criminal elite - had seemed much easier than it had anticipated it would be. For the twenty-third time in the past hour, the possibility of this being a set-up crossed through its thoughts as it waited for more figures to appear.
  9. I had the pleasure of playing alongside the Bocks Focks during my tour on Baystation. Real solid player, always seemed to know what they were doing. From what I can recall, all their delegations were of very sound mind as well. Supporting this.
  10. I understand the stealing from SSDs/killing them being a fault, but did the banning moderator really list, ' being a general asshat' in your ban reason? That seems a tad unprofessional to me. What else did they do that warranted a ban this length, in detail, aside from, 'being an asshat?' I presume that there were several more incidents leading up to this. EDIT: Tweaked in response to Baka's validation.
  11. I'm fine with the concept of an entertainer of some sort. Clown/mime needs to stay dead, though. Very few good things will come of it, with many, many more problems.
  12. We're replacing you. Anyway. Welcome to Aurora! Hope the community treats you well, and you have a great time!
  13. Supporting this on the terms that the probationary period is set up.
  14. Yep, yep, can be done. Just as simple as making the bottle and defining the sake into it.
  15. I've already made an inquiry to that, and characters are no longer allowed to have custom items in the form of weapon modkits. Leo's modkit was removed from the code following the changes to the custom item rules. As it stands, the rules prohibit such a thing from existing, so it will not be making a return. I feel like variants of the current weapon could be introduced, though.
  16. My day just got a lot darker, man. I hope wherever you do end up, you find yourself happier and more accomplished there than you ever did here. You deserve that, at the very least. Take care, dude. You will be missed.
  17. ((Report Summary made by IAA that round by Agent Terrrance Franks, whom investigated the claim and spoke with the witnesses at the scene)) ((Additionally, many of these facts are jumbled. Robert Dalton had gone SSD in the round very early, however, due to changeling shenanigans, people hallucinated Robert Dalton being attacked.))
  18. The first explosion in engineering maintenance (the one that wiped out command) was a tank transfer valve opened in the middle of a firefight. Coincidentally, the blast occurred right next to the incinerator, which effectively resulted in a canister bombing immediately afterward. Both nuke ops in the tunnel and Chief Engineer Jon Jackson were killed instantly in the blast. I (Syrus Seto) was standing right next to Dallas and Jon when Dallas popped the transfer, with Vira behind us a few feet. I survived the initial blast thanks to the flak jacket, and was able to limp just outside of cargo before I succumbed to being a pulp of toasted flesh. What happened afterwards, I'm rather unsure of; I believe the medbay detonation occurred while I was being cloned in genetics, so I can't say aware of the circumstances in which they occurred, nor will I try to. I for one enjoyed the round. I enjoyed the combat situation, and the roleplay before and after. The suicide bombing was rather unexpected, and a bit rushed. I'm still not entirely sure what the ops were trying to accomplish, as the only real interaction with the crew was them talking about how they planned to bomb the station to bits. Judging by what they said over comms, that was the only agenda. While I did fall victim to the 'gank,' I was not wholly dissatisfied with the round, and still had an enjoyable experience as a result of it. Landwhales. All I have to say about that.
  19. They have a degree in psychology and mathematics, yet they're aiming for leading corporate paramilitary?.. I'm sorry, I'm not really grasping how this line of education is applicable for asset protection, logistics, or administration. This character seems like they were more designed towards a medical/research field, despite your re-working. Sorry, but I can't support this.
  20. ((Then this.))
  21. ((My previous post stated this, but I just fucked it up trying to respond.))
  22. Stethoscopes? That's an interesting one. Are there not enough in med currently?
  23. AAAAALLLLL THE WASTED TIIIIIIIIME ;_;
  24. Question. Given more time (anywhere from months to this time next year), do you think you could see yourself returning to your headmin position, if it was offered after being promoted through?(Whilst acknowledging you'd want to limit projects you were involved in again.)
  25. I do feel that the current method of issuing/handling/acknowledging complaints need to be changed in the form of a few new rules. . Maybe filter them directly through administration, and let them decide if the issue is worth posting on the forums for others to discuss?
