You see, the problem with that is people will always expect a secret gamemode and not extended. You shouldn't be "Expecting" anything, no matter what round it is you should act like it's extended during secret, unless you're an antag of course. If people vote secret they will expect antags no matter what you tell them. They voted secret because they want antags, so they'll expect there to be antags. You can expect a round to have antags without metagaming too.

Considering that your 7-day ban just expired, I'll be denying this appeal for now. I do think it is way too soon to lift your security ban. However, I want you to observe how security usually play, and to understand security players RP and act. As such, you're free to appeal in 2 weeks from now. For now, appeal denied.

After reviewing the evidence, we've decided to give the player in question will be given a 7-day ban and a permanent ban until appeal from all security roles. This is the punishment we've decided to give based on the blatant validhunting that took place in the round. If nothing new arises, this thread will be locked in 24 hours from now.

Another way to fix that problem would be implementing distress beacons instead of the ERT swipes, with a chance to call an antag team instead of an actual ERT, such as raiders or some other new faction.

Could make them like they work on Bay, aka they blind people for a few seconds and disorient them, so they can run into walls or tables and hurt themselves/trip, while their movement is also random when disoriented.

I'm afraid I will have to deny this appeal for now. My main reason for denying this appeal is that you've been jobbanned 3 times for the same offense. That is way too many times, and that alone is enough reason for me to deny this appeal. Furthermore, I don't think you've changed. You've said the same thing in your first unban appeal, yet you have not changed since then. In other words, appeal denied. You may to appeal this ban in the future, and in at least one month from now. I'd like to see you play other departments without going SSD or AFKing, so I can actually trust you with an unban.

Coupled with this, and the fact you were warned for the same behaviour multiple (in fact, 3 bans for going SSD after 1 note and a warning), what guarantees us that you won't just pick up your old habits again?

I've looked this over a few times and I have to admit - I quite like this. These items are evidently pieces to drive a story, and not just things for the sake of having cool things.

After letting this complaint sit for a week or so, we have decided on a resolution to the complaint. The first incident seems much like an IC issue. We do not think it warrants any OOC action, and should have been brought up in an IR instead. The second incident was handled by staff, and is thus valid. If you wish to contest the actions, then you may post a staff complaint on the handling staff member. We will, however, be speaking to Munks about the other OOC issues brought up in this complaint - primarily, their attitude. That should clear up every issue presented in the complaint. As such, this thread will now be locked and archived, deemed resolved.

This application is going to have to get a strong -1 from me. Not only is your backstory very lacking, short, uneventful and does not show a character - but you're rating yourself far too high. Your roleplay has been subpar, and this has gotten you in trouble with staff many times.

This application will be denied due to: - Lack of feedback, - Lack of playtime and activity. We reccomend playing for at least a month more, and being more active in general.

My personal stance on this is this: You should not be playing another department with the same character other than the department said character is in. For example, you should not be able to be a security officer and paramedic. Not only is the difference in paygrades pretty big, it's also not realistic how you would be employed for 2 different departments. That's not how employment works.

And another one joins the team. On a more serious note, I like this application. I have no doubts of Ezuo's roleplay abilities, and he's a pretty cool guy OOCly too. I've seen his RP and it's really good. I like the character he's built here - they reflect the Skrell values pretty well, and doesn't feel generalized or stereotypical. I can tell from the backstory itself what kind of character Xerei is, and that's a good thing. I also don't see any errors or things I'd like clarified at first glance, so, this is a definite +1 from me. Good luck with the whitelist.

All I can do here is leave even more positive feedback. It's very evident that Abo is very involved in human lore, and he has shown his writing prowess via the stories he's written and the lore canonization apps he's made. He is also active enough for the position. It's a definite +1 from me.
