Something that's popped up is that you haven't played at ALL during this week. Why?

It's really not a fundamental change, and I don't see how it is? If you could elaborate on how it's a "massive" change, it'd be appreciated.

You do not need to use an estabilished character. A new character is fine. As a heads up, this application does not need to be reposted or modified due to the new format.

So, it's been three years since this ban was applied (2015, to be precise). Actual ban reason is that you gibbed someone for "shits and giggles". So, just don't do that stuff as a non antag and you'll be cool. Considering how old this is I'm gonna go ahead and lift it.

Unfortunately not. Richter cannot be a command member as it is, you are still required to edit the application with another character. Don't really have any other characters that I could apply for Command to beyond Richter, so I'd need to make an entire new character and play them around to get them known. So just go ahead and decline/remove the application or whatever. You do not need a known character, a new one that you made just for this application is fine. Are you sure you want this application retracted?

Richter was an Officer/Warden, then became a command member. The previous strip was from an OOC situation, thus the IC reasoning being his contract finally expiring and having him head off for a few months before resigning a contract for internal security again. The security to chemist thing was due to an OOC agreement given high-ping ruined security rounds, afterwards I was told it wouldn't be allowed and told to revert him to security again. A majority of the changes have been due to OOC issues that have since been fixed. Does this reasoning sort this issue out at all? Unfortunately not. Richter cannot be a command member as it is, you are still required to edit the application with another character.

Richter is not allowed to be a command member, due to the fact that they've undergone far too many changes. To be specific, they went from officer, to warden, to head of security, to officer, to chemist, to officer and now to a command staff position again. These are far too many changes and edits, so many that it would be unbelievable for your character to end up in a command position again. This behaviour of constantly changing your character and using the same one for command staff again also doesn't show us that you've changed since your last whitelist strip or that you're capable of changing. Edit this application with another character.

I'd like to know why you deemed this question as irrelevant, despite it being in an application.

As I've said several times during your DMs with me, the behaviour is not the main issue and is just an additive to the main issue. I do not see why you keep bringing it up as your only point. I will also add that similiarity does not equal to carbon copy. If something is the same as something else, it's not similiarity, it's being the same thing. Now, onto the main point. The issue isn't that they were similiar. It's not a case of being similiar here. It's a case of being a carbon copy, as I've already told you on our quite long discord DMs. As I've also already said in DMs, you have to understand our point of view as well. Someone by the name of Marc Price gets suspended. A week passes, and someone by the name of Marc Pryce joins, played by the same person, in the same role, with the same look. What do you honestly believe we should've thought? The names are the same. The look is the same. You absolutely cannot justify joining as essentially the same person with "the records and the age are different". It's very very farfetched. You can't bring up the person playing Mark Price here either - not only is it not played by the same person who plays the original Marc Price, thus completely different in context and not applicable here, they were also handled by a staff member. This doesn't help your point. Had you put effort into making the two characters different, I'm 100% sure you would've altered the hair style. Furthermore, let's take a look at the image you used, Synnono's quite. This is the same person that is in charge of the same department that handed you your punishment, and you did essentially the same exact thing that they told you is DISCOURAGED to do. If you wished to tempt fate by directly going against what they discouraged, I'm not sure what to tell you, other than you should've definitely expected this.

Chaplain is a relic kept only to be used by mostly shitters and should be removed. People who complain about not getting any antag interactions as cargo/civilian/medical really get under my skin. Sometimes, very rarely, and fortunately not lately, I wish I could ban people for logging in.

I do have a question. Why did you DM Coalf for explanations and questions about your whitelist strip rather than the person who DM'd you about it? Moreover, why did you go to Coalf to ask if the punishment could be lessened?

This sounds like a bandaid fix and not a real fix. If the round now is shit because of too many antags, the round with this change will be shit because there aren't enough antags.

Apologies, but that unban appeal was your last chance. I am not willing to lift a second permaban this close to when it was applied at all. It doesn't matter that this is a 'different' situation, you were permabanned once and continued breaking the rules nonetheless. I may be willing to lift this ban in January. For now, appeal denied.

Jamchop's a consistently good roleplayer, and not one that I wouldn't trust with a skrell application. Elianabeth's questions answered all of my doubts. Interesting character concept and a good roleplayer should mesh well. +1.
