Typically you can get around this by, after definition your percentaged width, defining a minimum width. I.e.: div#wrap { width: 80%; min-width: 800px; } That only solves the issue we may have with the theme going to 80% of a phone screen's width, though; I don't normally browse forums with a phone so I'm not sure what exactly it looks like.

((OOC NOTE: Jason Guess was an antag this round, so he will not be involved in this investigation. The issue involving the book being used as evidence for an invalid arrest is metagaming and an OOC issue, and will not be involved in the investigation. I'd suggest a player complaint if you want that issue addressed. Everything else in the report has been cleared by admins.))

New Code Discussions: Shells v Androids
SierraKomodo replied to Skull132's topic in General Announcements
From what i understood, it was being implied that an android is different from an IPC, so that we'd have androids, cyborgs and IPCs. I'm not seeing any distinction between an android and an IPC, they both have a positronic brain I think the definition they were going for is 'IPC' implies a very specific type of chassis (Screen head), and Android is a more generalized description of what kind of brain is in the chassis. -
Pretty sure it's a collar fused/built into the neck, since anything loosely hanging probably wouldn't need specialist equipment. It seemed to function like an implanter/implant when it existed on old code, so it's probably inserted into the chassis has has something like an RF signature or some thing like that to 'validate' its existence.

If I recall correctly, the gateway's not going to be included in the new map anyway; Mappers will have to confirm that, though.

New Code Discussions: Shells v Androids
SierraKomodo replied to Skull132's topic in General Announcements
You know, by technical definition based upon station bound synths.. An android is a chassis housing a positronic brain. IPC = Integrated Positronic Chassis. So, TECHNICALLY, an IPC is an android -
Sierra's feedback thread, since everyone else is doing it
SierraKomodo replied to SierraKomodo's topic in Character Stories
I'm sad now. The post that was made all about how Black is a good CMO is gone : -
Sierra's feedback thread, since everyone else is doing it
SierraKomodo replied to SierraKomodo's topic in Character Stories
Ah the innocent mistakes by a CMO that doesn't know her doctor is friendly with the deceased xD Did you like how Black was delegating tasks to everyone, while also helping with emergencies herself? -
Make a split Dionae get their name back on Evolution
SierraKomodo replied to Chada1's topic in Archive
I've got two ideas for this: A: The player controlled nymph retains the name of split, and the name when they 'Evolve' B: Diona are given a prompt to choose a name when they 'Evolve' -
To touch on this briefly, we are aware that there's confusion about what DOs can and cant do, when you can and cannot file an IR, etc etc. I was wanting to address this last week but Skull's been busy; We're HOPEFULLY going to get this addressed, sorted out, organized, blah blah blah this week.

The last ones, and a whitelist application, all ended with you cussing out staffmembers. I'm just going to mention here that another outburst like that and this will likely be the last thread you make on these forums, so please try to stay civil.

Senior Engineer / Senior Researcher / Senior Doctor Jobs
SierraKomodo replied to Nikov's topic in Archive
I think having it be a role that you cna't join as, but have to be promoted to by aHOP/Captain, as originally suggested, is a good enough 'whitelist' for it. -
From a CCIA standpoint, engineering uniform restrictions are primarily for safety regulations. Assistants and service positions can mostly wear w/e they want as long as it doesn't violate the 'No shirt no job' rule.

Do not allow vampire/lings to feed on monkeys anymore.
SierraKomodo replied to Alberyk's topic in Archive
It still allows people to feed on monkeys to unlock powers without any interaction whatsoever with the crew, beyond acquiring said monkeys if they aren't already in a department that has them/can order them. -
A thread about demotion/termination
SierraKomodo replied to Outboarduniform's topic in Lore Questions
Small misconception there. We cannot fire you on the spot. In order to fire, permanently terminate, or take any form of long term (See: 1 month or more) action against people, we need to confer with Gollee and admins. -
I could say something about one being interchangeable with the other depending on where you look, buuuuuuut..

Oops. Looks like I forgot a post. Moving this to a more proper section.

Senior Engineer / Senior Researcher / Senior Doctor Jobs
SierraKomodo replied to Nikov's topic in Archive
I approve of this idea. Makes things easier for everyone, and having a HUD icon added on for it will help with security/AI quick-skimming over people in secure areas. Naming conventions, I think something like these would work: Senior Engineer Senior Medical Officer Senior Security Officer Senior Science Officer Bridge/Captain's Secretary Personnel Secretary -
Nikov's idea is pretty good IMO, and theoretically should use less mapping space (You don't need to wall off two separate ORs, some equipment can be consolidated into a single tile instead of having two separate lockers, only need one observation room, etc). I'd be game for that.
-
The biologist's operating room is currently privatized for their own use. The biologist is a part of medical bay, and so in theory in the case of emergency their OR could be used. I however dislike this scenario, and if public consensus agrees that two operating rooms is necessary for standard operation I would merely move the buologist's OR and make operating rooms accessible to both surgeons and biologists. As an experiment, I would like you to consider this situation without antagonists in mind. While ultimately I don't care for the meta-distinction between that mythical 'standard operation' and the more common 'every single round that isn't extended', this was a point raised often in the old thread. I'm personally of the opinion that medbay does operate better with two ORs. While it doesn't make much difference for smaller-population rounds, prime time tends to have a slot of medical emergencies cropping up at the same time, and having a second OR means two people can be operated on at once.

After reading Nikov's post, and skimming a few other posts, I'd like to propose an alternative to removing extended from secret - Add another option labelled 'Secret Antags' or something. People that want secret with a chance of extended will vote Secret. People that want antags but don't care which mode or want the 'thrill' or not knowing which type of antags will vote Secret Antags.

If I remember correctly, on old code, the hunger system would have you yellow at about the 1:00, 1:15 mark, and in red by 1:45 to 2:00 if you did not eat at all and spawned at round start. I'd be fine with returning to that system.
