  1. This isn't the unban requests subforum. And you're evading a forum ban. I'm not the one who banned you but, as a note, I had to bin about 5 shitposts from you in the complaints and applications subforums today, and issued a warning to you. Which... You responded to by reporting the PM it sent you as 'Off-Topic'. Apparently, after that, you continued with this and that's why admins chose to dayban you. And. Once again. You're doing it here.
  2. Pretty sure this is the case, considering I had to bin about 5 posts Frances made in the complaints and applications section. As a note: Keep your april fool memeing to general and off-topic please.
  3. You're a day early for april fools.
  4. An alternative to removing it could be to allow the AI to toggle the firing mechanism of a vending machine. Could also add some small level shenanigans for an antag AI if they had that power.
  5. This needs to go into it's own thread. We are not supposed to be making multiple suggestions in the same thread, despite me liking what you've got here. I agree. This is now a separate thread.
  6. It's likely this was a case where Wald was promoted in-round by a Captain/HoP.
  7. One thing about Katana that most people don't seem to realise. It's not a 'series' of AIs, it's one positronic AI that is placed into differing chassis based upon what it's doing for that shift (Or in the case of the pAI, uploaded to the pAI network for the duration of the shift/deployment). The Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, etc designations are for NT book keeping purposes - Alpha is the AI core chassis, Bravo was the law-bound synthetic chassis, Charlie (Now named Katana Silvers) is the NT contract IPC, and Delta is the pAI deployment.
  8. I think it's more that the mutiny game mode does not exist in newcode; That was one of the 'Aurora code specific features' that hasn't been ported over yet.
  9. Our (Baycode) map has it currently, it was added in sometime in the last couple weeks. It was even in the changelog. Telecomms scripting itself is disabled, however. Me and Skull tried to get it to work the other day and it wouldn't.
  10. Damnit you're supposed to be annoyed by ECOM!
  11. Admins permitting, I can relocate all of the feedback threads to the general topic pending a new section being made; I do agree that they shouldn't really go in an IC section.
  12. The law also specifically states to /prevent harm/. In order to prevent harm, you have to remove anything that could cause harm. Electrifying a door in that situation adds something that can cause harm and therefore violates the 'prevent' law. At the very least you'd have to monitor constantly and unelectrify the door when they approach it.
  13. So I have various AIs that I play on station from time to time, some people like some of them, others don't. I'm now curious what everyone thinks of these AIs (NOTE: I'm referring to these strictly as station AIs, not as IPCs/pAIs as some of them have been in the past) E.C.O.M. Katana Alpha Kunai ZAVI
  14. CEO would provide confusion with CEO Miranda Trasen; Probably a bad idea.
  15. You got sub officer and leading trooper backwards
  16. My thoughts as well, I don't like players jumping right to emergency shuttle without trying other options. Although it can be argued that no ghosts are around but isn't that IC in OOC? Also Im EXTREMELY resistant to making admin judgments around things I "don't like". Very slippery slope, even if I can back it up. Part of the reason I made this thread. This wouldn't have been possible in this situation though. Only one head of staff was on station, and if this is the round I'm thinking of, the AI (Whom was myself) was 'subverted' and wouldn't have cooperated with the sole head of staff to let them get the spare either.
  17. This completely breaks the balance (and logic) of the game and should never be added for that sake, but I do rather like the laser scalpel suggestion. how so? Drones and construction borgs have a plasteel generator, but an engineering borg doesn't. he can't make reinforced walls at all As someone who's been playing drones alot, we do not get plasteel.
  18. Tajara and Unathi do not automatically add rrrrrr/sssss.
  19. BYOND Key: SierraKomodo Player Byond Key: Lord Fowl (as Zultar Karjei) Staff involved: Garnascus Reason for complaint: I'll keep this short and sweet. He turned himself into a slime, unleqashed every single slime in xenobiology and left a large number of monkeys for them to feed ont to become a massive hive of slimes. He then went through a vent to the bridge, ganked and killed the captain (Rose Gizro), and split in the middle of the central hallway. Within five minutes half the crew was dead, slimes were all over the station, and the round ended due to an evacuation shuttle called by the AI (Myself). This falls under mass gank in my books, and is an example of what NOT to do as an antag. I understamd this was handled in round, but I want to bring the issue up here so that everyone else can be aware that doing this with slimes is BAD and should not happend, period. Approximate Date/Time: about 1 AM PST (4 AM Eastern), March 27.
  20. I'd say for the purpose of NT covering their butts, anyone refusing anesthetic needs to sign a waiver. If they're not capable of signing a waiver prior to the surgery, they can't be considered fit to make that decision themselves and it'd be preffered you put them under anesthetic anyway.
  21. Uh, no, I didn't. Logs pls. Sadly this happened two too three weeks ago and I am still in the process of moving, as such do not have them they are on my main computer, Skull or IJ may remember as this is the ahelp they both dealt with it, I also apologize for any spelling mistakes as I am typing this on my phone Was this the round with the Glorsh-Omega? Iirc, that was XanderDox, not Delta (I might be wrong about who it actually was, but I'm certain it wasn't Delta). I don't think I've seen Delta play AI, actually.
  22. Originally disposals were used on Bay as a means to get around quickly. The coders didn't like it so they made it periodically damage you depending on how long you're in them, essentially gibbing you. The communal brig originally had it as a means for antagonists to escape, as a means of balancing. The exact way it works, actually, is you take brute damage every time you hit a turn. If the pipe from start to finish is 100% straight you still take no damage.
  23. There's absolutely no IC reason to have it do that, and OOCly, it's removing a method antags have of trying to escape.
  24. Instead of changing functionality, why aren't we ahelping these people and having mods deal with the suiciders?
