While their expertise and knowledge may have been referenced and been useful to the crew, neither of them took any form of actual command aboard the Enterprise despite having served command roles and still holding their ranks. So based on that, a visitor would just be a visiting command staff who is not on-duty and is not there to server under a command role for that shift.

On top of the above, I'd also recommend playing characters that don't require a whitelist for awhile. Give it a couple weeks of consistant play time, so people can get an idea of who you are, how you play, etc. You won't get a whitelist if nobody knows who you are and nobody comments on your application as a result.

Miraj had requested paperwork and would have created a new bottle specifically for it, but instead Grant chose to steal from the fridge while Miraj was away from the lab. Goodwin and Azza both listened to Miraj's complaint, and seemed to agree that Grant should at least be spoken to. However, Sutton would not allow even that it seemed. Miraj was told that the incident was nothing more than a complaint and no regulation was broken, and therefore security did nothing about the incident. They did not even speak to Grant about it. Miraj was told to file a report with Central Command by security, so that is what she is doing. The radium was standard and he was given a 60CC beaker without incident. The tricord, however, is not usual for virology, so Miraj asked what he needed it for. He left, and never came back with a form. She told Grant that if he wanted tricord for his experiments, he needed to fill out a form and request it properly. At this point, the chemical dispensers were exhausted of certain supplies, and Miraj needed replacement cartridges from cargo before she could create additional bottles of various medicines, including tricordrazine. The fridge, however, was stocked with at least three bottles of every medicine medbay may need for emergency. Miraj discovered later on that Grant had taken a bottle of tricordrazine without completing the form - Or even telling Miraj - after he made a statement about the tricordrazine not saving a monkey from his experiments. He also stated he used the entire bottle on this single monkey, essentially wasting a third of what Miraj had produced for medical use, and reducing a currently limited supply of medicine. (Cargo has not yet sent the requested cartridges at the time of writing). Security has been informed, but they claim this is only a complaint and they cannot do anything. I thought I posted on this, but apparently not. What Mofo said is basically what I would have said regarding the application. It might be skirting some lines on Unathi traditions/values when it comes to females, but this same female also is leaving Unathi territory and coming to Human space. Nebula's been good at creating a variety of characters, even if she seems to always have some kind of catch phrase for each one ("She didn't do it!" "You're nuttier than a fruitcake!" Etc.), and I'd like to see where she takes the Unathi character. +1

My understanding of current Tajaran 'robustness' is that they do more damage but take less of a beating in the brute damage department in comparison to humans.. And are much weaker to burns.

I think what Neb was suggesting here was nothing more than a change in the text that describes what the character did - I.e. instead of saying punches or claws, it says bites. Otherwise, same damage model and everything. Am I understanding this correctly?

You know, in the furry community, Neck biting... ... Nevermind. You don't want to know. On a more serious note, I do agree that I like our lore as it stands for Unathi and Tajara. When I read through what Loow was working on for Skrell lore a few months ago, I liked that as well (Haven't read over it recently though. I need to get around to finishing that whitelist app...). Believe it or not I do have a at least decent range of different kinds of characters that are Tajara and Unathi, and I don't play these characters just because they're furry or anything like that - I play them because I liked the lore behind the species. The civil war, low ranking on the galactic social ladder, and internal struggles with the Tajara is what drew me in originally, even if these things aren't really portrayed well in game by other players. It wouldn't have mattered if Taj were furred, scaled, or blobs.

Right so, as Kiwidaninja and Furstact don't play anymore, I'm thinking of pulling Rasul and Kai from the family tree (Basically they don't exist). Ziva still has siblings, but they'll either be currently-unplayed in Biesel or still in Adhomai. Gonna bounce that off Neb before saying for sure though. Also for future reference, assuming the above goes through, Ziva's the only child of Rahat/Suha that didn't inherit the Zhan traits in fur color.

This is basically saying 'Lets let merc and heist have a clear, distinct advantage over ERT, because they get void suits that are unaffected by EMP so they can still go into space while ERT can't' Everytime I've played ERT I've been completely gimped by an EMP then killed.

Combat vests are useless in a depressurized area or in space.

We had a 3 man ERT respond to a full team of heisters earlier today. One was an engineer that went to engineering, the other two were entering the bridge and got EMP'd through two walls, and subsequently shot to shit by a guy in a void suit.

I really shouldn't have to explain why. It's BS that ERT only has something that gets completely gimped by EMP/ion weapons while nuke, heist, merc, etc etc can have any kind of space suit they want and not worry about it.
