  1. I remember world server having a system like this, perhaps it is port-able
  2. to add onto that, perhaps a marker for if someone's winded by staff, too, so people coming into the situation can see that
  3. something like SSD floating over them would be a good thing, to sure 100% it is an OOC thing
  4. Seems like a neat possible idea. Would also be neat for roles like the TCFL to send reports home with. I've also had an idea of s9me some kind of alternative way to hail/send a message to a ship that does not rely on them answering their holopad, or some sort of sector wide hail.
  5. I wonder if like, the BS drive getting destroyed would cause a big explosion if it's spooling up then perhaps the round ending continues, but instead of a bluespace jump, it has new messages, of the jump failing (maybe in different ways depending on how much the drive was spooled before getting destroyed?)
  6. agreed, great idea, it would be neat to have the voted roundend as a 'shift change'. in addition, making the (specially activated) bluespace jump remove the Horizion from the overmap would be a neat thing too, to act as an actual escape from threat +1
  7. could the TCFL third party ship's holopad be moved to by their helm? Otherwise they may be piloting and have no idea someone is hailing them.
  8. I think that's literally a thing for third party ships already so very doable
  9. I could imagine engineer trainee getting an atmospherics trainee alt title and sec? Maybe investgation cadet?
  10. I'd had thoughts on how antag ships could be stealthy on the overmap, actually some kind of cloaking device that only works for X amount of time so if they want to sneak aboard, they can, but if they want to fly around and harass others, they risk the cloaking device burning out and revealing themselves (I imagine they could also use the IFF name change thing to disguise their ship as something else?)
  11. This could be useful, blue + red feel like they're more for shipside hazards, while a new thing for ship combat could be interesting to see, with the kinda idea of "Hold onto something, be ready for the ship to take hits and make sudden maneuvers" +1
  12. +1. I'd want to see the various ship-based antags to get overmap access (and the merchant, too, but that's a bit off topic)
  13. That certainly would be interesting.. what sort of thing, if you had any ideas?
  14. That's a decent idea to do to, I imagine the recent cyborgifcations would need to then be voided to life sentences? which does bring up the high level sentences, it'd restrict them to marooning or HUT more or less.
  15. I see there is a poll up now for their removal, if that does go though and they are removed, what IC reasoning might there be for the current robot characters vanishing?
  16. don't consulars spawn on the ship though, rather then their own special offstation spawn that they fly to the place from? wardrobes like that on the horizon might be odd? unless i'm not getting what you're saying
  17. What would you have in mind for That, vs removing entirely?
  18. what do you mean by soft removing them?
  19. This seems a cool idea, though I imagine the mech weapons/tools would need to be altered to have a trigger, since otherwise they just have wires that link to the cab (I assume)
  20. Even if the horizon did land on a planet, the hanger couldn't be used as an exit to ground level because of the residential levels below
  21. Some ideas I have: NERF guns (of course with a lore-friendly name): Brightly colored toy guns that fire foam round. Do no damage when they hit someone but show a message in chat. Fencing: Either as a Holodeck setting, or some fencing supplies stored somewhere, fencing foils would do minimal damage (not really any more then other generic stuff around the ship does. fencing armor would protect from it, safety first after all), but show a message in chat. Football: Footballs that are kick-able like Schlorrrgos, and a football pitch holodeck setting. More card games: I've seen a number of different card game types on different servers, some of those may be neat to port. One example is a game similar to Cards against Humanity. Gym: Treadmills for the gym?
  22. That would make sense, command whitelist would be fitting for it?
  23. My idea for this would be to make proper implants, like the mindshield, and ones from the loadout, show up properly, and have the antag implants be given fake, medical-y sounding names, so they wouldn't look sus on medical scans
  24. The Aurora offices used to not have cameras, they were added after some IC event chain (sol I think?)
