  1. I think botanist was missed from the list? Eyesight issues such as colorblindness of various degrees are also not covered in this. I was also previously told a wheelchair-bound pharmacist is something allowed, and that seems to have changed with this?

  3. Just like the title says, make it so when you go to amputate a limb it'll give a box with yes or no asking if you want to do this. I accidentally missed a step in making an incision on the head to open the skull, and when I went to bone saw, it just started cutting the neck, so I had to move to stop it, causing rib damage, which, while better then accidentally decapitating the patient, is still not good. The second suggestion would be to have a way to stop a surgery step you started without moving and harming the patient. btw I know the rules say one suggestion per topic but these are two rather closely related suggestions, both covering surgery.

  6. I think this would be a great idea I also give a +1 to the idea to a secretary role, there's one on another server I play and it's neat to play.

  8. I'm against this, while I don't have a big argument for keeping barista, other then just liking the sound of it, I do however think removing the second bartender slot would be bad. It's neat for two bartenders to be around and serve customers together, and they can RP together when there is no one else at the bar. -1
  9. I plan to play her as a bartender/barista and as for what she thinks of the other factions? she does not like how they do not give their people as much freedom, and wishes that they would. She also does not approve of the monarchy of the NKA, she likes the democracy of the well, democratic people's republic.

Species you are applying to play: Tajara What color do you plan on making your first alien character: Slightly darker than the the Beaver Brown color shown on the wiki. Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question. Why do you wish to play this specific race: Well, I like the idea of different alien species alongside humans in sci-fi genres and such, and along with that, the lore of Tajara is rather interesting here. Even though I didn't join in on the Cold War arc, from what I've read of it, it seems rather cool, and the Tajaran culture looks like something interesting to make a character around. The three Tajaran factions seem like they'll be fun to RP around too. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: (One Paragraph minimum) One thing is that Tajara often speak in third person, using "He thinks something strrange is going on" rather then "I think something strange is going on" as an example. Recent Tajara history is also a lot bloodier then recent human history, with wars between factions, assassinations of notable leaders, with the second revolution only having ended very recently, this would have an effect on how Tajara act, with many having different views on the current situation of their homeworld and politics bringing up points in RP. Of course there are also the physical differences such as the digitgarde legs, clawed hands, and furred bodies which may bring up small situations from time to time, such as becoming too warm on the Aurora. (Maybe getting annoyed at a Unathi for turning the thermostat up). Character Name: Farah Alfarsi Please provide a short backstory for this character (Aproxomately two paragraphs) Farah Alfarsi was born on Adhomai, in the city of Sren’dul, 19 years ago, along with her twin sister. Her childhood was pretty normal for someone in that part of the Tajaran homeworld, until 2452, and with it, the ALA's fight against the PRA. When this happend, Farah, her twin, their younger sister and, as well as their mother, all fled to Farah's uncle's farm in the countryside to avoid the main fight, while her father stayed to fight for the ALA. This time was rather rough for them, as much of the farm's produce was being used by the ALA's forces, leaving little for Farah's family to use and sell. While Farah, her sisters, mother and uncle all did manage through this, unfortunately her father was killed fighting the PRA, leaving Farah's mother to look after the three young Tajara on her own once they returned to Sren'dul after the ALA had taken the region. Farah and her family enjoyed the greater freedom the DPRA offered, and while the ALA did sometimes take some of their food, they accepted that as a price to pay for the freedom the faction gave them. They continued to live on Adhomai until 2462, where Farah's mother decided there may be better opportunities for her daughters and herself in Tau Ceti, however they were not able to get an official flight to the system, instead, they had to smuggle themselves out illegally. This ended up being a bad idea, as the ship they were riding on did not even go to Tau Ceti, instead, it went to Mars, where they were abandoned. Lacking enough money for flight off the planet at the time, they lived in the slums of an arcology, receiving xenophobic treatment from some of the Martians. During this time, Farah was mugged by a homeless human, and while she did manage to escape from him, she was stabbed in the eye by a shiv he had, leaving her blinded in one eye. Farah, her sisters and her mother all tried their best to earn enough money to buy a flight off the red planet, and after several months eventually gained enough money. But then came the Violet Dawn. There was chaos in the arcology, with people trying to get to ships to escape. While fleeing, Farah's mother tripped and was trampled to death by the crowds and Farah was injured by a closing blast door, though she and her sisters did manage to make it to a shuttle leaving the planet, and to a ferry out of the system before the bluespace gate was closed. The Alfarsi sisters finally arrived in Tau Ceti, now with basically no money. Having arrived at the Odin, they found a space to live in 'The Maze',and each started to search for jobs... What do you like about this character? (Describe what you like about this character I feel Farah will be interesting to play due to her time spent on Mars giving her somewhat of a negative view of some humans due to her treatment there, and the fact she and her sisters are now on their own without either of their parents. There should be some good chances for character development with her. How would you rate your role-playing ability? I'd say it's okay, I've gotten better at RP since I started it. I roleplay in a few different places, both in and outside of SS13. Notes: uuh.. meow?

  13. if psychologist was to be removed from the medical team, it should be made into it's own thing, alongside councilor, who would operate out of their own office, separate to the med bay or church, since councilor is kinda a non-religious thing too though after a bit more discussion on the discord, removing psychologist as an alt title would be odd, as they're a doctor. if anything the chaplain alttitle councilor would make sense to be a psych alt title, seeing as the three all relate to mental health?
