Ramke's Command (CE) Application
Connorjg1 replied to Ramke's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
Extremely good command player. They have nothing but my support going forward and having seen the behaviour of the player before getting the trial this doesn't surprise me at all. Nothing but praise. +1 -
ati really wants to beep application do not steal
Connorjg1 replied to Aticius's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
Howdy. I've roleplayed a lot with Aticius recently and really enjoy the style they put forth. I believe they could do very interesting things with an IPC whitelist and look forward to seeing it Big old +1 -
[ACCEPTED] Faye's Command (but really just CMO) App
Connorjg1 replied to Faye <3's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
Only got good things to say about Faye. They are a joy to interact with OOC and IC. They know how to play unique and interesting characters. Command will take some getting used to I'm sure but I'd love to see them step up to the plate and be given a chance to give it a go +1 -
Type (e.g. Planet, Faction, System): Republic of Biesel Law Enforcement Agency Describe this proposal in a single sentence (12 word maximum): Give lore to a commonly referenced organization allowing more structure for use How will this be reflected on-station?: Outside of the occasional FIB investigation and visits that already happen this can be shown as part of a character's backstory or future aspirations. Does this faction/etc do anything not achieved by what already exists?: Yes. This organisation is already shown to exist but is as of currently not given any structure and exists in a sort of "No one knows anything about it" space where it only shows up as required without any sort of explanation of how it operates Why should this be given to lore developers rather than remain player created lore?: As the FIB is a major and reasonably common presence in the Republic as well as on the station directly. By providing it lore I hope it helps inspire future backstories and event use. Player created lore tends to be very centralized and will only ever be used by the player and possibly a handful of others. This is not ideal for an organisation that many players might interact with either via events or other presence on station as leaving it open leads to everyone having different conclusions which can and has lead to confusion in the past where two players views of exactly what the internal workings of an organisation are collide Do you understand that if this is submitted, you are signing it away to the lore team, and that it's possible that it will change over time in ways that you may not forsee?: Yes I understand this and find it perfectly reasonable. I can only hope the basis I provide is helpful Long Description: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1O7uco11KMFPMH-7D6keYeyHiqFHBF8JyAgBAiWsHnQA/edit?usp=drivesdk

[ACCEPTED] Murdoch's command whitelist
Connorjg1 replied to CatsinHD's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
William is an absolute joy to roleplay with across all their characters. I've no doubt that they have what it takes to be a good command player and look forward to hopefully seeing them on trial +1 -
It is true that we did return fire again after the first bout of shooting had died down. This is easy enough to explain with characters being angry that they were just shot. But the pirate opened fire first whilst we were trying to talk them down using laser weaponry to shoot us through the door When you late join it should be expected that you come into situations that are already in progress. It would be extremely clear about the situation if you had been there from the start instead of jumping to conclusion about the nature of the situation. I'll definitely accept there is a level of information that perhaps you had not been filled in on but we were in the progress of attempting to stop the burglar and did not have time to explain the full situation Had to be dragged because we kept passing out from all the blood loss It was literally 5 people on station. Myself, The Janitor, the Engineering apprentice, the crashpod survivor and you. Checking the manifest in the future would certainly smooth over issues like this
-
Well I'll start with the simple part. Is incorrect. The burglar opened fire on us from within yellow dock as the transfer approached using the welded doors to fire at us with laser weaponry. As for thievery we were telling you that a hostile Tajara is aboard pretending to be a SCC Agent and stealing things. You stated yourself they were wearing the Captain's Voidsuit and you just didn't notice but at the same time you should, a surgeon, not require explicit proof that someone is stealing items when told by security. This proof was also to my memory never asked for. 'Being far from deaths door' is incorrect The injuries on my character were bad enough that I was moments away from death when the round ended. There's a difference between doing your best to help and just leaving dying characters to crawl to the shuttle. The Tajara in question had just shot two members of the crew. Even if you don't know that they instigated the fight to begin with there's a level of resonable caution to be expected. You willingly left with them, without regard for the crew members who were still dying on station. It's my opinion that there are better vectors for interacting with a character you are enjoying that doesn't involve leaving the two members with critical injuries to die whilst disregarding your own safety What other crew? The janitor? By the point you left the only other crew member was a janitor with crew moments away from death. There was no other medical personal to render aid.

BYOND Key: Connorjg1 Game ID: b0u-a06M Player Byond Key/Character name: Warbidon - Fros'Qerr Vel-Rena Staff involved: N/A Though Yonnimer was in round Reason for complaint: During a very quiet round of secret extended the burglar drop-pod random event triggered. This event was particularly chaotic due to the 2 crew manifest at the start of the round. At some point during the round Fros'Qerr Vel-Rena had joined as Surgeon alongside Engineering Apprentice Fiona Petrov (CourierBravo). The round culminated into a gunfight between the Engineering Apprentice, my character Detective Milo Mendez and the Burglar Rhagrrhuzau Mrrazhughran (Played by WickedCybs) at the surface checkpoint after a failed detainment of them earlier in the round by myself the Detective. The gunfight saw myself and the Engineering Apprentice get shot several times and we were given basic medical aid by Fros'Qerr Vel-Renah however Fros'Qerr Vel-Rena instead of helping two extremely injured characters get aboard the shuttle after having been shot upwards of a dozen times elected to leave with the Burglar walking up to them barricaded within yellow dock and asking if they were allowed to come along on the shuttle that had docked at yellow dock? I am unsure how this behaviour could be justified. The surgeon abandoned a dying Detective and Engineering Apprentice to go leave with the pirate who had just opened fire and gunned down two NanoTrasen crew. It was by this point well established the burglar was not a SCC Agent like they had been claiming to be and logically they were clearly a dangerous pirate who had spent significant portions of time robbing the station. It was not like the Burglar was very injured either having been using the Captains Voidsuit the disruptor rounds they took only dealt minor wounds. Surely one would have a fear of death if they willingly go with the Tajara that is established by this point to be a dangerous pirate willing to open fire on crew Evidence: Did not save logs however several observers (Sycmos, Melariara, Meme Connoisseur) and the Burglar themselves can attest that Fros'Qerr Vel-Rena willingly approached the Burglar asking to come along Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? No as it wasn't until after the round that the actions taken occurred to me to be complaint worthy. I did file an Incident Report but Warbidon wished to keep their departure non canon Approximate Date/Time: 12/7/2020 - 9:30GMT

Reporting Personnel: Milo Mendez Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Detective Game ID: b0u-a06M Personnel Involved: - Fros'Qerr Vel-Rena, Surgeon, Offender - Rhagrrhuzau Mrrazhughran, Pirate, Offender - Fiona Petrov, Engineering Apprentice, Witness - CID-Six, Janitor, Witness Secondary Witnesses: - Odin Civil Protection (The wounds of us on the shuttle and lack of Doctor Vel-Rena) Time of Incident: Unknown Real Time: 9:30GMT 12/7/2020 Location of Incident: Surface Checkpoint/Entire Station Nature of Incident: [ ] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [X] - Neglect of Duty [ ] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [X] - Misconduct [ ] - Other _____ Overview of the Incident: The incident occurred during a, what I'm sure by now is well known shift that happened on the 7/12/2462 where a pirate pretending to be a SCC Agent boarded the station which at the time only had 3 members on the manifest and began to loot as much as they could get their hands on. Myself (Detective Milo Mendez) and the Engineering Apprentice (Fiona Petrov) fought to come up with a plan to tackle the extremely well armed hostile in an effort to protect company assets and the crew however with no way to obtain extra weaponry outside of my Mini-Disruptor (Which the pirate had unlocked earlier when I had deceived them into doing so) we were already outmatched. As such I never expected to be betrayed and left to die by the very crew we had been fighting to protect. The cultivation of the entire shift resulted in a gunfight at surface checkpoint as transfer came closer with the pirate identified as "Rhagrrhuzau Mrrazhughran" where myself and Fiona Petrov suffered extreme wounds. The pirate had the captain's voidsuit which is known to be very tough and despite me landing several shots in a desperate attempt to protect them from harming the rest of the crew I was gunned down suffering upwards of 13 - 15 laser wounds in nothing but my jacket. It's a miracle I am still alive. First aid was given by Doctor Vel-Rena but did they stick around to provide surgical assistance? Did they transfer together with us whilst attempting to give further first aid until Odin medical could collect us? No. Surgeon Vel-Rena willingly (Not kidnapped or coerced) decided to leave with and presumably provide first aid to the pirate on their ship. They left us to die on the station, casually asking the pirate if they were allowed to come whilst we screamed in agony from being shot attempting to protect them. Doctor Vel-Rena did indeed leave with the pirate, meaning we were left to desperately crawl along the floor to the shuttle with wounds in agony whilst they had a grand time flying off together. I should not have to tell you the amount of knowledge Doctor Vel-Rena could now have on this pirate. The make of the ship, the location of their base, potential armaments and all manner of things that could help Federal Authorities track them down but as far as I know Doctor Vel-Rena has made no attempts to contact the FIB and inform them of any details. This event has left me shocked that a Doctor who would leave us to bleed out and die instead of even helping us to the shuttle would be allowed to work at an installation where the threat of hostiles is ever-present. Whilst we fought and came within a hair's breadth of death for them they were more then happy to betray us and leave with the pirate. Submitted Evidence: N/A Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: Central Command was informed of the situation but there was no heads of staff Actions taken: N/A Additional Notes: I hope the name of the pirate helps in tracking them down and bringing them to justice.

The ability for lethal rounds to pass through windows is an essential use of disruptors imo as it allows security to fight Carp without having to go to the armoury. Outside of that though looks good I think

1 dismissal Make the SAT Known to Command
Connorjg1 replied to CampinKiller's topic in Rejected Policy
I wouldn't be opposed to all of command knowing but at least the Head of Security. It makes no sense the Head of Security isn't trusted enough to know about the Nuclear Explosive aboard the Aurora. This is excluding the fact that anyone who assumes acting captaincy for any reason can get into the SAT. Have the spare ID to raise a biohazard alert? You could just wander on in. It's the worst kept secret of all time. -
