Staff Complaint - Connorjg1, Evandorf
CatsinHD replied to FearTheBlackout's topic in Staff Complaints
After going over the logs and communication with @Melariara, we've determined that the decision to PK Pleig was a joint action between CCIA and Lore. Ultimately, regardless of whether damages occurred, the nature of assaulting a consular and Ta, especially by a queenless, was determined to be enough by Vaurca lore to PK the character regardless of whether it was minor assault or not. CCIA was compliant with this as both a lore decision and due to the nature of assaulting a consular from a nation the SCC is actively seeking improved relations with. With that being said, at the time both you and the agent found an agreement in how Pleig was to be removed, and all parties agreed before the IR was closed. There isn't much to justify lifting the decision to lift the termination, so the current ruling will stand.- 1 reply

So, this has been something on my mind a lot recently. As to be expected, frankly. Having thought a lot about it, I've come to a few determinations and conclusions: Tajara are intended to be glass cannons, but fail at it. Now, some of this is the reality of combat on Aurora, SS13, and the nature of fighting on a ship. Mobility is hampered by enclosed hallways. Flanking is difficult when maintenance is the antag's domain. So! What are my thoughts? To preface, this is my vision for the niche Tajara fill: Glass cannons and information gatherers. They're agile, they're fast, and they're the go-to for clandestine operations. Now, that last mention is out of place for the Horizon, but it does help in informing some of what we can look to for balancing. Generally, I am a strong believer in roles. In the same way Unathi are the tanks (to avoid opening a can of worms on Unathi balancing), Tajara are the rogues. So how do we emphasize this! Hear me out, some of the suggestions are a little out there. Provide Tajara the ability to extend their vision 2-3 tiles. Similar to the Aut'akh augment or binocs, but shorter range. This achieves the information gathering AND glass cannon idea. It allows firing from beyond range, but the limited extension means a Tajara is still well within reach of being rushed down and shot. That additional range is also useful for spying from afar. The trade off? Taj are frail, and the extended range risks eye damage like having nightvision on. Allow sensitive hearing to inform the Tajara of a conversation through walls. This is information gathering. Being able to hear noises through walls and conversations (potentially knowing who is talking) is very useful. Especially in maints where security are on the back foot. The trade off? You have sensitive hearing on. It puts you at greater risk of hearing damage and being stunned. Increase the amount of noises that can be detected with sensitive hearing. Currently, it is mostly just used to listen for airlocks. This is limited and feels half-baked. Expand it! Now, these are NEW items, mostly. This does not get into the brute modifier, speed, or sprint. I generally am for taking a new look at all of these. Tajara were balanced for an older era with hyperzine M'sai, point med, and all kinds of other things. Whether it's reducing the brute modifier, altering their sprint, or tweaking the movement speed. I'm for it. I'm for it for all of the species. However, as Tajara are the focus of this suggestion, it's what I'm focusing my thoughts onto.

BYOND Key: CatsinHD Discord Username: CatsinHD#4202 Character Name: Kalkii Dynhvah Item Name: TD-17 T’varrnav Varrom (TD-17 Submariner Coat, if Siik’maas names are not preferred) Item Function(s): A suit item, carrying over the typical functions of a jacket. Open, close, two pocket spots. If possible, opening the suit slot to some common Hangar Tech items, like a tablet, wrench, crowbar, or clipboard. However, this isn’t a deal breaker. Item Description: A black leather coat with a Zshram fur collar found in use by the People’s Republic of Adhomai’s submarine service. This coat is missing the left sleeve past the shoulder, along with holes and rips throughout. Care has been taken to hem the edges of the holes, rips, and remains of the left sleeve. Rredouane’s sword has been stenciled onto the back of the coat in white paint. Ext Desc: The Miraniye T’varrnav Varrom, translated as Miran’miran Submarine Coat, is the standard overcoat supplied to the Republican Navy’s submarine service. Designed to insulate and protect the wearer against the ice-cold water of the Adhomian seas, the black leather coat is a source of pride among submariners and coveted by Al’mariist and Royalist sailors as a war trophy. Once produced within the port city of Miran’mir it is named after, the war forced production to move to the Ardiye Romanqri Khaz’tra in Nal’tor. Despite this, the coat had only minor changes, remaining constant throughout as a symbol of the Hadiist menace across the waves. Why is your character bringing this item to work?: A lot of the drive in bringing something like this coat is in its personal value. The coat being as important and valuable as it is to them, a symbol of their history, struggles, and pride, is why they continue to carry and wear it as an essential peace of their daily outfit since first receiving it in the Navy. The Horizon is no different. Additionally, despite being damaged, it still provides the practical use of comfort, extra pocket space, and warmth for the organic parts of Kalkii on expeditions. How did your character obtain this item?: The coat was first earned during Kalkii’s service as a submariner with the PRA. All submariners within the PRA receive a black coat for weathering the Adhomian seas. As time progressed, personal modifications, such as painting TD-17’s unofficial logo of Rredouane’s sword, were added. Throughout the war, it received some nicks and cuts, however it achieved its current state after the explosion caused by the Outer Eyes in the Horizon’s holodeck, where Kalkii was a victim while wearing the coat. What value does this item have to your character, and what story does it tell?: The majority of its value is bound up in history and the desire to show the hardships, victories, and pride Kalkii carries. The idea of battle scars and wearing them with pride. The coat has been the symbol of this, a catalog of everything since they first entered the Navy to now, when they were bombed. While doing minor repairs, cleaning up the edges and such, is in the best interest, preserving the markers and physical representation of the coat’s, and therefore Kalkii’s, history is immensely meaningful to them. To Kalkii, the coat is a part of them. It is, essentially, a catalog of their history manifest. Sprites: Not a .DMI currently since my dreammaker system is borked. However the sprite is ready for PR. Additional Comments: This custom item will likely come with a separate PR for adding in the PRA submariner coats. The base coat in the loadout didn’t satisfy my image for the custom item, however the item would be a little odd if it wasn’t based on the submariner coat.

Replace disruptors with ballistics - Feedback thread
CatsinHD replied to TheGreyWolf's topic in Completed Projects
Overall, I don't think 45s or really any reasonable option for secoff duty weapon will adjust armory usage. At the end of the day, the armory will be used when Sec is approached with armor and rifles. Even if the 45 could one shot an antag, there is aspect that trying to showdown against a merc in full kit with a 45 and anti-gank armor will not go well. Fixing that needs either an armory rework or an adjustment to how antags escalate in terms of equipment. Which is not in the scope of this change. Just rambling to say that this will never change armory usage as that's a wider reaching thing. However, for on-stations the 45 can be notable. It is pretty effective with paincrit, as is its nature. It does emphasize being smart with escalation as an on-ship antag. I don't think it's a negative, it does put some extra weight onto mobility, having an escape plan, and armor. I will use this to segway into saying that, as mentioned before, the rubbers could use some tuning or a new "stun round" should get introduced. However, I haven't antaged or played secoff as much recently so mileage may vary. The real solution is giving all secoffs the magnum disruptor /j -

Royal Guard Candidates Submit Bids 07.03.2468 As part of the continued efforts by Queen Shumaila Azunja, a number of candidates for the proposed royal guard have submitted their bids for the supplies, equipment, and production capabilities of continued support. A number of companies submitted bids into the program, both from the New Kingdom and off-world corporations. Representatives of these candidates gathered at the Kaltir Imperial Palace. Royal Telegraph reporters were invited to cover the proposals to “ensure the participation of the nation in the efforts to protect its most valuable components.” Much to the chagrin of the Chamber of Nobles, invitations to the event were not extended to all members of Parliament. Indeed, very few were invited outside of members close to Queen Azunja and a representative from House Strelitz of the Empire of Dominia. Among the candidates were: Royal Firearms NanoTrasen Corporation Idris Incorporated Hephaestus Industries Dymtrii Security Solutions Zavodskoi Interstellar Kingly Guards Security Co. The varied list of candidates lent to a particularly long day of conferences and presentations. During presentations, candidates were provided an Imperial soldier for showcasing the proposed equipment, design, and appearance. All matters by which Queen Azunja was judging the proposals available. Notable events during the conference were the early removals of NanoTrasen Corporation and Kingly Guards Security Co. Citing problems in both cost and appearance, both companies were denied soon into their presentations by Queen Azunja. It seemed Idris Incorporated was likely to be removed as well due to the color schema of the proposed uniforms, but the Crown Heir had shown a particular liking to the use of cyan highlights. Idris Incorporated elected to remove themselves, seeing the likely result of the conference, however before leaving an Idris Incorporated hat was gifted to the young Heir. Of the remaining candidates, opinions seemed polarized. Royal Firearms had presented a strong candidate based upon reliable, proven firearms history on Adhomai. Despite the use of a prototype select-fire rifle, Royal Firearms promised similar if not superior reliability to the current service rifle. The uniforms, an evolution of the Imperial Army uniform with integrated armor plating and Njarii Azunja coloration, appealed to many of the guests present. Hephaestus Industries and Zavodskoi Interstellar both presented a radical departure from tradition. Both companies presented their own weaponry for use. From Zavodskoi, the Z8 assault rifle, a proven design used across the Spur. From Hephaestus, the KS-40 combat shotgun. The differences in tactics between the two weapons exemplify the differences in mindset between the two companies, between the versatility of the Zavodskoi rifle and the close-range effectiveness of the Hephaestus shotgun. This continued into the uniforms. Hephaestus Industries proposed a heavy set of armor, both with and without their own exoskeleton. Designed around maximum protection at the expense of mobility, it allowed for additional adornments of Njarii Azunja standards alongside the Hephaestus paint scheme. Zavodskoi, however, proposed a balanced design. Protection was focused around key regions, the upper body and legs, while attempting to ensure mobility. Additionally, the armor was incorporated into the uniform at large, which had been based on historical Kaltiran levies. Not to be ignored, Dymtrii Security Solutions proposed perhaps the most radical solution. Based around an experimental super-heavy pistol, with a unique uniform centered around maximizing mobility and aesthetics, however it featured barely any protective elements. The presentation from DSS was not popular among the conference, but remained in consideration until the end. Following the numerous presentations, demonstrations, and discussions, the conference ended with a feast put on by Queen Shumaila. In an odd showing, the menu was a particularly exotic collection of never before seen dishes by the Njarii Azunja head chef. The meals were thoroughly Adhomian despite using techniques rarely having been seen before. The appetizer was a spin on traditional Earthen-root fries. Glazed with a spicy Miranii sauce, served alongside a powerful dirtberry syrup. Despite what expectations may traditionally hold, the combination created a delightful spin on the combination of unorthodox flavors. The main entree followed, featuring a braised Rasvii Hma’trra Zivr fillet served on a spiced Baltoran flat bread. What was notable about the dish was the use of fresh Hma’trra Zivr fillets, rather than preserved fillets. The result was an unnaturally tender meat that brought out the traditional spices of the Baltoran peninsula. Finally, dessert. The primary component was fried Nm’shaan fruit served with the same dirtberry syrup from before, rounding off the meal with a return to the beginning. The feast had positive reception overall, with the Crown Heir notably having taken a liking to the fried Nm’shaan, even taking some pieces from other guests. Queen Shumaila ended the conference with a promise for a timely decision. Republic Celebrates Victory Day Marking 35 Years of the People’s Republic 04.03.2468 On this day 35 years ago, the People’s Republic of Adhomai was established through the righteous revolution of the nobility, ending their reigns of tyranny for the betterment of Adhomai and the Tajaran people. Today, Tajara young and old across the nation and beyond congregate to celebrate the progress of Tajara. Celebrations began at the foot of the Palace of Free Tajara where President Hadii made his speech this year. Following the end of the speech, President Hadii participated in a funeral procession for President Al’mari and the Heroes of the Revolution. The military parade this year was notable for altering the order of the parade units. The Kosmostrelkii, who had led the prior year’s parade, was moved to the middle of the marching order to permit the Division EE a spot as the lead unit. Following the mech unit was a showing of the Republic’s armored divisions, Kosmostrelkii, heavy artillery companies, and Republican Guard. The Grand People’s Army Music Corps provided music for the duration of the parade, after which the anthem was performed, with a quartet of First Revolution veterans providing vocals. For the duration of the event, a parallel celebration was taking place in District Six of Mendell City on Biesel. While smaller in scale, the event, organized with assistance by the Social Harmony Committee, provided a strong boost of pride for the residents of District Six while away from Adhomai. A number of pins and coins were handed out to participating residents commemorating thirty and five years of the nation.

Adhomian Mahmrro League Teams Submitted, First Matches in Sight Written by Antonov Jriimaq'ahr from Crevus, Democratic People's Republic of Adhomai — Share • Like • Parley The first match of the season kicks off the brand new United Adhomai Mahmrro league. Formed a month ago following a conference between major regional leagues, the new conference is a first of its kind experiment on snowy Adhomai. The league schedule is a busy one as each nation scrambled together submitted clubs. Despite prior concerns by the People’s Republic, a submission of all six Mahmrro clubs was possible. The lack of local leagues has resulted in an exception being made by the other nations to ensure the competition could go on. The list of clubs is listed below. From the People’s Republic: Republican Army Artilleryman Ministry of Education Club Intelligence Services MC (ISMC) Naval MC MC Kosmosnaut Ministry of Technology MC (MTMC) Notable clubs of the mix are the Intelligence Services MC, holding the highest win/loss ratio of last year’s season, and the Ministry of Technology MC for its fourth consecutive year holding the lowest win/loss ratio. From the Democratic People’s Republic: Trizar Miners Mezuma Scholars Metallurgists Mahmrro Machinists MC Azaula Entertainment MC (AEMC) Amohda’s Liberator MC Muhr’fal’s MC Adhomai Liberation Army MC The strong lineup tells the tale of stronger players. Top of the nation is the Trizar Miners, infamous for their tactical plays on the field. The wildcard team is ALA MC. After some shocking mid-season line-up changes, the team seems to have gained a boost of energy. Despite the lukewarm statistics, they remain an electric team to witness play. From the New Kingdom of Adhomai: Minharzzka Maritimers Bar’jar MC Nisinsk Oilmen Kaltir Herals Olska MC Baltor Watchmen The New Kingdom is bringing the heat with a powerful lineup of teams. Among the largest and most popular on Adhomai, projections show the Rredouane’s Blade going to one of these teams. The league win and Mahmrro cup is likely in the hands of the Minharzzka Maritimers, by far the strongest team in the league. However, upsets are not uncommon. We will only know once the league comes to a close. The current league schedule aligns with matches played across the weekend. Updates will be posted on the Spurley chirper to keep Mahmrro fans up to date with the latest. Live matches may be witnessed here with the premium subscription. Artifact Returned, Dissidents Found Guilty 20.02.2468 Following a long search by the National Police Department, the thieves responsible for the theft of a national artifact have been arrested and returned to the Republic. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the search took the NPD across a vast stretch of space. Starting along travel routes through the Badlands region, the team eventually traced the stolen shuttle, ICV Ha’rron’s Run, to the Valley Hale region where the thieves were finding refuge with a vessel of the Stellar Corporate Conglomerate, the SCCV Horizon. It didn't matter, however. The Party ensures a fruitful relationship with our partners in the SCC. Thanks to the strong cooperation, the dissidents were able to be confronted and, with the skillful efforts of two NPD officers, detained. The process was not entirely peaceful. During their run, the thieves had secured numerous weapons. Confrontation on the SCC vessel was tense, as the leading Khazkhan reports one of the dissidents had chosen to use a phoron canister, phoron being a highly combustible and flammable substance, as cover. The fuel was being stolen from the SCC vessel to secure their own shuttle, an act which the NPD valiantly prevented. Unfortunately, in the fighting that ensued, one of the thieves died before trial and righteous justice could be enacted. Two others in the three person group were arrested, however, and returned to Adhomai alongside the artifact. The trial on Adhomai was short. Overwhelming evidence led to a quick conviction for all three thieves. While the artifact was being returned to the Tampiska Polytechnic Institute, its rightful home, the guilty dissidents were sentenced to serve time in Castle Vladis. Queen Shumaila Initiates Feasibility Study for Royal Guard/ 14.02.2468 Queen Shumaila Azunja has prepared a committee for the investigation into the creation of a royal guard corps. In a Crown memo, Queen Azunja stated the need to determine the degree to which an exclusive and elite team may be formed for the protection of the Crown, Crown Heir, and other close individuals necessary for the continued safety of the Njarii Azunja and Kingdom leadership. Select national companies and human megacorporations have been approached regarding this effort as part of a “holistic approach” towards the matter. The announcement has come as a shock to prominent figures within the Imperial military, previously the institution assigned the honorable duty of protecting the Crown and other important figures. Grand Admiral Dynhaas was quoted as saying, “It is a grave insult to the Imperial Army that they are not sufficient to protect Queen Azunja. May their reputation make a swift recovery from this illness.” During a gala held the same evening at the Bluetree Villa, Field-Marshal Kluychevsky made the following statement to Telegraph journalists, “The Queen knows what is best. His advisory would be to the contrary, but regardless of the outcome the Imperial army stands ready to perform its duty above and beyond measure, regardless of what Grand Admiral Dynhaas may espouse from his theater stage.” Concerns regarding the funding for such a Royal Guard corps were raised by Parliament. It was indicated by many that the cost of maintaining a remotely well-equipped force would strain the supply for the Imperial military further should the corps be sufficiently sized to provide adequate protection for all notable political figures. Indeed, Royal Firearms confirmed that current production capacities would not be sufficient to equip the new force until their new facility in Baltor is finished, something which may take years to complete given present delays. Queen Shumaila spoke during parliament to soothe these concerns, reassuring that monetary support would be sourced from the Azunja Njariye coffers. Additionally, she stated that sources would not be limited to just Adhomian firms, rather including those off-world such as NanoTrasen Corporation or Zavodskoi Interstellar to ensure an efficient supplier. The Royal Telegraph has been chosen to provide exclusive coverage on all updates relating to this new initiative. I think it's a valid shout regarding the microwave meal vendor and such. I think in general there's tiers and niches to each of these things. In my hyper idealized view that may not be practical: Vendors are the more expensive, but reliable option. You pay extra for convenience and for it always being there. Commissary exists for the bodega experience, cheaper prices for similar vendor items, a little bit of RP, and warehouse goods. Kitchen/Bar exist for right proper RP, larger meals/drinks, and more control over what meal/drink you get. And also it's free, but that's a different can of worms. In this way, each has a lane that has minimal overlap. John Officer who has red hunger after chasing Jane merc through half the ship likely doesn't care to stop for a lot of RP with the chef, at least during an active event. The vendor is there to buy 5 bread tubes. People doing their shopping for the week, wanting an interesting items from the warehouse, or just want a little interaction while they buy their ultra-processed food stock (which is primarily snacks, of which the kitchen doesn't serve often), they have the commissary. Everything else is the kitchen. Post-antag RP, large meals, getting to choose that platter of ras'val clams and not another pack of tunasnax or D6 microwave pizza. This rambling section was to say, I somewhat agree with Tomix. As for my own suggestions and thoughts! I like the commissary. I like the effort put into making the center point of being in ops, cargo and deliveries, actually functional and nice to use. The matter of how to get more interaction with ops gets into a wider mess of how we draw the lines between what level of materials a department starts with. To that end, I don't really want to mess with it because that is far out of scope. Let's ponder the name. Hangar Technician. Curiously, Hangar Techs have the access and availability (usually) to service the hangar. Yet little is done about it. The main part of operating the flight deck is refueling and cargo handling of shuttles. Who ends up doing this? Pilots or engineering. This is a bit of an issue, since a part of the duties of an HT are null and void because other roles do them instead. Normally the answer is the ID lock, but that is a bit lame, especially for pilots when no HTs are around. A few changes in mind, or ideas that can be pondered: Give HTs a crowbar and wrench at round start. Moving CO2 canisters is a key part of refueling, yet an HT doesn't spawn with a wrench. Additionally, removing Phoron cans needs a crowbar (afaik. Correct me if I'm wrong). So why not spawn with the tools essential to a part of the job role? Have the Marshaling Wand speed up landing times for shuttles This is likely really hard to implement, I understand. However I think it will give some life into an otherwise useless RP tool. If it had a purpose, speeding up shuttle landings, it might lead to HTs being actively sought after for expeditions. Especially when a medical emergency is involved. Implement an optional pre-conditioning process for shuttles Add a system that allow HTs to pre-condition shuttles for flight. Maybe this could make them accelerate faster, burn less fuel, or some other benefit. It shouldn't be a requirement, rather a buff that encourages the inclusion of HTs into the flight process. These ideas are intended to not become requirements. Those can be lame. Having a benefit to including HTs, though, is nice, and also doesn't kneecap other roles when HTs aren't around. How feasible they are? idk. -
Izweski Hegemony Tears Down the Nobility 03.02.2468 In a shocking announcement a day ago, former-Hegemon Izweski declared the dismantling of the lordship of Moghes. The decision has left many confused, as the prior system had served the Unathi well for centuries. However, citing minor concerns of otherwise improper enforcement by the reigning nobility, the Hegemon has dissolved his title and taken on the new title of Karszekan. Additionally, numerous lordship titles have been dismantled into elected positions. The Parliament has released numerous actions and statements following the announcement. All diplomatic relations with the revolutionary state have been cut off. The following was released to the Royal Telegraph for distribution: Within the past 72 hours, the Izweski Hegemony has shown a course of actions against the natural order, of which cannot be seen as a matter beyond hostility. With the dismantling of its nobility, Parliament has seen a shift in national attitude which may yet be seen as aggressive towards the nature of its own sovereignty. As such, all diplomatic gestures to the Hegemony have been revoked. On matters of the claim of Gakal’zaal, Parliament declares no recognition of the Hegemony’s claim, as such has been dissolved when the royal titleage of such territory was dismantled. However, such claims from the Al’mariist are not recognized, and their remaining presence remains an abomination to be corrected when such time comes. Queen Shumaila Azunja refrained from comment during the scramble by Parliament. Staffers under the Dynasty Azunja and Crown government noted a detachment from Queen Azunja during the early hours of the announcement. One clerk noted to the Royal Telegraph a comment made regarding the readiness by the Chamber of Nobles to decry the actions of the Hegemon prior to the release of details. Following the release of a Truthfinder article today, Queen Shumaila Azunja has provided an official statement from the Dynasty Azunja and Crown government: It is a shame to see the straying from the stability of the old order. With such a consolidation of power, it brings into question the dynamics of further relations with the Kingdom. These choices will not be taken lightly, regardless of the adroitness behind such a maneuver. Queen Shumaila Azunja has not made any motion to restrain or prevent the actions currently working through Parliament. An additional comment was made by Count Tscherim Sanguszkho. During a Parliament meeting, the point was made regarding the true nature of the Spur at large. The Count declared such issues as folly, all minuscule in the face of the true order when the powers of the ancient Tajara were revealed. He went on to derail the present debate to lobby for further funding for the expedition present at the north pole.

Party Commends Announcement by Karszekan Izweski Karszekan Izweski, formerly Hegemon Izweski, released a surprise announcement less than a day ago on the Moghes-based Sinta Articles news network. The announcement made a profound impact within the Hegemony, now declared the Karszekani Moghes. During the address, a number of upcoming changes were declared for Adhomai’s neighbor in the Badlands. Among them were an arts fund, regional governance changes, and notable elections for various titles within the nation. This comes as a sharp departure from the royalist system plaguing Moghes for years, a matter which the Republic has watched with caution since Adhomai threw off the chains of the nobility in the Revolution. These changes, however, prove a substantial shift in the nature of Karszekani relations with the Republic. The Party released an official statement regarding the news: Freeing the common people from the chains of nobility is no easy feat. Adhomai has seen the blood of these efforts, and thrived with their sacrifice. With these changes from Moghes, the People’s Republic commends the efforts to amend decisions of the past, and bring its people into liberation. Despite the official statement, numerous Party members have made additional comments on the situation. Minister of Education Kalim Khazdar offered strong support to the announcement. Among general praise of the transition to electable officials, the Minister applauded a strengthening of culture, and went on to discuss the possibilities of closer relations with the Karszekani, offering to lead such diplomatic efforts. Headmaster Harrdanim Tyr’adrr seemed dismissive of the announcement stating, “Half-measures and legacy ties. Time will tell if such a facade will hold scrutiny.” The Diplomatic Service has reported sufficient staffing to support an increase in diplomatic missions to the neighboring state, regardless of support from Minister Khazdar. President Hadii has yet to make a decision on the matter, stating a need to meet with the cabinet prior to a decision. A further comment was made, “Steps towards progress do not wipe away cautions of old.” Regardless, high-ranking Party officials state a positive outlook among the Republic. United Mahmrro Tournament Formed, First of Its Kind On Adhomai Written by Antonov Jriimaq'ahr from Crevus, Democratic People's Republic of Adhomai — Share • Like • Parley Earlier this week, the Mahmrro sports leagues of the New Kingdom of Adhomai and Democratic People’s Republic of Adhomai initiated a conference of the three Adhomian nations in Crevus, DPRA. Sports leagues and government representatives of each nation were present in Crevus for the event. This comes as a surprise to many due to the record high political tensions across Adhomai. According to spokesmen from Azaula Entertainment MC, the intent of the conference was to establish a global sports conference. To quote, “Sporrrrts arrre a time to come togetherrrr, not drrrrive aparrrt.” Initial reception seemed to be cautious. The People’s Republic initially claimed it was a farce to spy further on their people. The Democratic People’s Republic was more receptive, however, stating that “neutral playing fields must be established to ensure peace on the pitch.” The city of Crevus offered to create a number of fields in its outlying regions for official league games. The city has maintained a stance of neutrality amid tense political climates on Adhomai, making the bustling port a great option for neutral playing grounds. The New Kingdom was most receptive to the proposal stating, “If the Hadiists and [Al’mariists] wish to see the Kingdom’s dominance in all facets of life, then they shall see it.” Earlier today, all three nations agreed to one season of a united league. Following the end of the season, a new conference will be held to determine whether the new league will continue or be scrapped. The new league is structured as follows: Regional leagues submit the two highest scoring teams into the international league. Each team will participate in a round robin match schedule. The team with the highest number of league wins receives the Mahmrro Cup. A number of complications regarding the league rules were pointed out by the People’s Republic of Adhomai. Due to its national league system, the scores of teams are accurately not tracked. It promises, however, that sufficient teams will be selected in time for the new competition. Mahmrro clubs within the Democratic People’s Republic and New Kingdom have already announced a new training program to better prepare their players. Artifact Missing from Tampiska Polytechnic Institute 28.01.2468 Following the end of general evacuation in Tampiska early this week, Tampiska Polytechnic Institute officials performed a series of audits to determine the state of the campus following the event. One of the departments audited, the Office of Artifact and Historical Cataloguing, faced a high level of scrutiny for its importance to Adhomian history and academic research. Of the numerous artifacts held in the Institute’s care, one was noted as missing from its storage location. An ancient cultist codex, prized for its insight into dissident behaviors, was noted as having been absent from its storage location within the Hadii Hall of Historical Sciences. Following a brief preliminary investigation of Institute records, the National Police Department and TPI officials officially declared the artifact as stolen. Security systems have reportedly provided spotty evidence, as the Institute’s recovering emergency power banks were experiencing numerous power cycles during the heist. NPD investigators strongly believe a group of Raskara cultists are at fault. The Party has permitted the National Police Department to dispatch a team in chase of these dissident thieves. Travel logs suggest the group fled to Crevus after the heist. From there, investigators say, an unregistered shuttle was boarded which has taken them off Adhomai, however the NPD promises to find and capture the cultists wherever they flee. The Kosmostrelki have provided transportation to the NPD, as well as a Survey Corp freighter to assist in tracking the dissidents. In the wake of another incident involving the Institute, Party leadership within Tampiska and the Ministry of Education have launched an investigation into various practices within the academic institute. Areas of concern include emergency response, research safety, and campus security. Minister of Education Kalim Khazdar refused to comment on the situation. Others within the party have called for the removal of the TPI’s current leadership, although no actions have been planned or enacted. In relation to concerns of containment failures within the Tesla research laboratory, Party Tesla Technicians reported no faults or concerns with the containment structures in place. According to the lead technician, an over tuned sensor triggered an emergency alert. As a result, the lab operators elected to declare a containment emergency to ensure maximum safety in the worst-case scenario. Local party officials praised the efforts of the lab operators for a safety-minded caution when faced with the risk of citizens' lives.
