Countering people who tell me to put up wet floor signs with "you shouldnt be running in the halls" is like my favorite thing to do.

I have reviewed this with other staff members and we have reached a consensus. The problems i outlined with your security play where echoed by multiple staff members. This type of security play and indeed this kind of head of staff play is extremely over the line. A one week ban from all security roles will be placed on you as of the time of this post.

To be fair on sues part, theres a reasonable level of counter play in a permabrigging situation. It takes a fair amount of charges/you get caught doing crazy bad shit and lose the subsequent firefight.

Yeah no, its incredibly immersion breaking and not to mention frustrating to put time and energy into a valid kill for them to just get cloned. Takes away a lot of the weight and purpose of doing it in the first place. You died, deal with it. You can wait thirty minutes.

If the kill of someone is valid i dont care how far you go to make sure they stay dead. Its less about the clone coming back and killing you and more about "why kill them in the first place if they can get cloned". So yeah, space the brain and mail each of their body parts to random departments for all i care. Getting cloned is a luxury, not a right.

Hos's or security that beat cuffed or detained prisoners that arent handled by moderation staff is a problem on our end. You are professionals in the security field, not thugs off the street. You do NOT "teach the crew a lesson" and even if its a simple thing to fix it still /fucking hurts/. Your philosophy here is also in question you seem to be under the impression security acts as a sort of secret police rooting out dissidents and "educating the masses". You are a REACTIVE force on site to ensure corporate regulations are followed. Im going to discuss this a bit with other staff before i pass a judgment.

If the CMO says they want to keep a patient for medical reasons its not security's or even the rest of medical' place to argue. Stay in your lane. The only one who could over rule this is the captain. That being said a large portion of this seems to be an IC conflict. What i /dont/ think is IC is the HoS beating a prisoner and then lieing about it. That is straight up against your implant. Also, sure bone repair is mechanically simple but IC its a complicated procedure.

I used to be guilty of that myself some time ago butters. In hindsight its kinda enabling salty sams. If you kill someone feel free to go as far as possible to make sure they /stay fucking dead/.

The HoS does not have the authority to denote crew/non-crew. They are on the manifest, they are crew and frankly the whole crew and non crew issue is silly. Sure executions are illegal but im willing to bet those pencil pushing desk jockies who made those laws didnt account for a ligger squad of vampire slaves. If its true they had already killed multiple people then.... Frankly you do what you have to do to protect the rest of the crew.

As usual ill poke the necessary parties to get their sides posted. The allegations in this thread are quite serious, there was some debate on this in the staff discord earlier. One particular note that irks me here, the whole of medical and security apparently planned for the doctor to kill him. Shit like this happening though, people betraying antags mid-deal or the other way around is kinda why so many people (including me) just sont bother and kill all loose ends. That being said, i dont want to enforce a "every doctor must be a saint" mentality but i do you're kijda expected to not rip a liggers heart out. Thoughts? Ill wait for unknownmurders side before i speak on his law upload at length.

First things first ill poke all the involved parties about this complaint. I will say that even during antag rounds there is a standard to enforce for security even OOC. At an initial read i find it odd security is stealing patients from you. If the CMO says they need more treatment theirs really no room to argue....

Pretty much this. You just have to be careful since you can very quickly go over the line. You're not some thug off the street, you're a nanotrasen employee and likely a professional in whatever role you came aboard as.

Unfortunately, it does matter. According to you have a bit of a history doing this kind of thing. You aggressively searched and arrested someone when they chose to decline a search. At best that is straight up illegal IC and powergaming OOC. There is no such thing as a "search in good faith" you either have orders/code blue power to search someone or you dont. Not liking someone IC is fine, you do however have remain professional to someone who can /make your life miserable/. IA arent just desk jockies with comms access. They have status and answer to centcomm. your argument with the agent can mostly be attributed to an IC issue, however we do have to enforce SOME standadd for security even OOC. you're a trained professional, not a mall cop. Finally, we could chalk this situation up to a warning if this wasnt indicative of your usual MO. in the past three months you where warned for firing on your HoS after being demoted. An offence i would have job banned you on the spot for. You where also noted for beating someone into crit when an arrest was technically possible. The point is you seem to go over the line in aggression as security quite often. When questioned IC you get defensive and even resort to insulting your superiors. Its unfortunately too egregious of a history to ignore with a warning. We feel a week ban from security is appropriate here.

More, more, more, I want more self-sufficiency. I want you guys to feel more comfortable and have the power to affect things IC more, regardless of antags involved or not. There's a lot of red tape now around what CCIA can and can't do, is like to help fix it.

There are some parts of this i don't quite understand. Jboy made a point on your vaurca app about some interaction you had with unknownmurder? Do we have details or did forums eat it? Also it seems at first glance Jboy has had some negative experiences with you and brought them up in your apps. That's....kinda how applications work. One person isn't going to be able to sabotage your apps. It will probably be sometime over the next few days I have time to check logs on that round. My gut tells me is this is all getting a bit blown out of proportion.
