Different companies produce them as per their description in cargo. They are brain dead clones created for experimentation. When genetics was removed you couldn't get protocreatures so they were added to cargo. There was much rejoicing. I've had a chat with the secret cabal of science mains who don't want this gone but won't post because they feel they won't be listened too. I don't mind either way tbh. Also,to anyone who personally wants to see conflict, regardless of what is said in here - be the change you want to see in [this fictional] world. Create characters that follow these cultural divisions. Arrange group character concepts to roleplay out these together. It's all about the story after all and you are able to shape it by being present in it.

Anecdotally I also think that there has been a shift in server/player/character culture in that everyone seems to be besties and every character is comes across as a subversion of their civilisations culture to enable everyone to be friends. I personally liked it when there was actual divides between characters based on culture. Discussions with other players leads me to believe most people like it this way (everyone is friends), is this the case? Voice your opinions here pls.

I'm going to be producing a much requested "Galactic Culture" page soon which will detail popular music/bands/people/food/drink/maybe opinions etc. It's a light bit of fluff you can utilise when building and roleplaying your characters. What I'd like to see from you guys, gals and everything in-between is things you believe should be covered by this. Perhaps you and your friends often refer to some IPC band or Taj cuisine. As a master race European I don't tend to see the desolate wastes that are Burger Time and Kiwi Time so I'd love to here the general culture references that go on. Post your ideas here and we can compare and discuss. No shit post please silly boys and no flaming you flamingos. Much appreciated.

Don't need a muscle man at all unless there's antags tbh. I'm gonna give new sec a whirl asap and get a handle on how it feels.

Why not remove sec offices and have a desk, chair, locker +whatever's needed in the departments? Also give them a sec headset and make them report to HoS at any alert level.

Totally agree. It's a common trend to see folks post suggestions to alter the game based on rounds that didn't go very well for them that one time.
