Orinas and turtle hit the nail on the head really. Like with all concepts being a member of a faction will be part of the character not THE character and there a multiple sensible reasons for supporting ATLAS, just think from your characters perspective why they'd matter to them.

I've seen Willow in the background both actually in character and observing and understand where folks are coming from. In the nicest possible way the character comes across as high key manic and ICly is pushing into getting canonically fired for gross misconduct, canonically fired for failing a psych exam or on the extreme end, getting canonically whacked by in character gangsters. The character concept on its own is fine as far as I can see, it's just the escalation that's a bit off i.e. going straight violence and face to face confrontation. If you want the end game for the character to be either of those three former things then that's fine, let us know in here and folks will be ahppy to arrange that end game and I'm being serious, some players have genuinely crafted their characters with those end games in mind and that's fine. If you don't want that then it's a case of either dialing it down right away (reduce to shit flinging verbally at the extreme case unless the other party goes to fists then fair play) or have a personal arc where the character meets with a psychiatrist on the regular to resolve her issues. As it stands if you keep her as is it's getting into the realms of staff interference and I don't thing anyone wants that. That's my opinion anyway.

Yeah I can get behind that. Not sure about regulars getting better treatment and what not be anecdotally I often see people avoiding fear RP or suddenly become highly skilled CQC operators on the fly which is lame. I can appreciate it's difficult to roleplay fear and pain appropriately and it's really a case by case basis for each character but there comes a point where we really need to dial down the "my character would fight not flight" that seems to be the main staple. I mean I'm guilty of it, I've unga bunga charged a Merc as a sec officer with a baton and felt like an absolute weenie afterwards because it was a video game reaction by me and did not take into consideration the roleplay "would my character want to fukken die" aspect. In immediate hindsight my character would have dropped the baton and put his hands up.

I'm glad you asked schev, for rp purposes, BWH is a completely optional character attribute, and putting it on your character biography page is mainly useful for fellow players to visualize your character's shape, and for artists commissioned to draw your character. Measurements Measurements are fairly simple enough: Bust - Waist - Hips. A female human's “measurements” (BWH) usually refers to the following: Measurement 1, “B”: The distance around her bust. Measurement 2, “W”: The distance around her waist (above the pelvic bone. The measuring tape would cover the belly button.) Measurement 3, “H”: The distance around her hips (below the pelvis). With a classically-figured woman of average height (which I presume is around the 5'-5'6 area), I have heard that optimum measurements are somewhere in the 36-24-36 area. This is going off memory, so I could be way off, but generally the waist is the smallest measurement while the bust and hips are close to being the same. The “ideal” waist-to-hips ratio is 0.7 (the waist measurement is 7/10ths the hips measurement). If you want more examples, I took a wild guess and found that clothing sites have the best resource. Take your pick: preppy clothing store websites, adult sportswear websites, the Speedo website…basically anything where you would need to know how to find your measurements and then need a chart to match your measurements to a clothing size. Bra Sizes Hard numbers for bra sizes are like this: You have the initial diameter of the rib cage (standardized of course) which is usually an even number. Adult sized bras in the USA start at 32 and go up in 2 inch increments. Standard sized bras are: 32; 34; 36; 38; 40; etc. Keep in mind that this is how wide around someone's ribcage the bigger this number is, the “thicker” the person's body is. For Measurements you take the Bra band size (The rib cage diameter) and add the inches from the Cup size (A= 1; B=2; C=3; D=4) to that base number to get the bust measurement. So a 32 with a B cup would be 34in in her measurements. Bust measurements tend to confuse people due to the fact that they are uncertain of how bra sizes work. The number represents a band size, the diameter of a woman's chest. The letter represents the cup size which is how many inches from the chest the boobs are. Cup Sizes Cups sizes tend to equal this by European and American standards (Japanese bra sizes tend to run a cup size SMALLER meaning an AA cup would be an A cup): Half inch = AA cup One inch = A cup Two inches = B Cup Three inches = C Cup Four inches = D Cup Five inches = DD or E Six inches = F Cup Seven inches = G Cup (They do use the rest of the alphabet) So as an example, Chiharu wears a size 32B bra. This means that the diameter of her chest is 32 inches and her boobs are 2 inches from her body. This would make her chest measurement 34 inches. AA AA-Cups are virtually flat-chested. Common for prepubescent girls, but rare among developed women. A A-Cups are the smallest size considered a “true” cup size, since it is the smallest state in which the breast becomes pronounced, though is often still too small to make a significant bulge unless the person is wearing relatively form-fitting clothes. Uncommon among adult women, but common among mid-teen girls. B B-Cups were the most common cup size and made up roughly about one third of adult women. Typically B-cups size is much more visibly pronounced, and is the smallest of the “grabbable, a-palm-full” cup sizes. C C-cups are arguably the new most common cup size. While their occurrence is similar to that of B-cups, if you look at any modern fashion or swimsuit magazine cover, the odds are she's a C-cup; both B and D are much less prevalent among models. D D-cups are typically those “wow, that's big” cup sizes that are very roughly the size of a sweet melon. Once breasts reach this size, it's fairly common to start suffering minor problems (sore backs are common without support, much harder to fit bras properly, possible sagging). The occurrence of D-cups is uncommon; it appears only slightly more often than A-cups. E E cups (aka DD) and all sizes larger cumulatively occur almost just as often as D cups. Still, for the sake of having soldiers who can actually fit into power armor, or a soldier that can actually move without encumbrance I think this should be reclassified as rare.

I like the skill system idea. The amount of skill you can allocate is only limited by your character concept in this proposal which is perfect. You can have your master chef, master chemist if you like though I'd be interested to see your character background for that to work. My main issue is with policing this. As far as I know and have experienced the current skillsets aren't enforced, unless I'm wrong? Anecdotally I've never seen it enforced in recent memory. Will the admin staff be able to see skill levels at a glance? Can the admin and mod staff police this? The main issue with skills today is characters becoming gods of combat inexplicably. From a data perspective this would be good to allow staff to monitor what skillsets people are taking up and therefore check where folks are focusing their roleplay.

Hey that's fair enough. Imo antags shouldn't be effected by many things such as hunger and what not as they're there to drive a story. They don't need to be balanced against the crew as it isn't a team death match. However that's just my opinion and I appreciate it's contentious. Butters idea sounds great though.

As in antags of any species would have the ability to rip them off alongside unathi/G2. They wouldn't be immune.

Basically the ability to grab a Vacs mandibles by aiming for the mouth with a grab and then an "aggressive grab/whatever works" to try and tear them apart. This is a counter (sort of) to the fact vacs can klickty klack your limbs easily. Picture in your mind's eye Valiant McUnathi wrestling with Doofuz McAnt, fending off bone snapping klacks before grabbing and yaaaaaaaahhhh forcing those chompers off. Patrician combat roleplay. I'd personally like to see this be a unathi and general antag only ability due to the strength of Unathi and the application of antags but I'm easy with it being available to all. Thoughts?
