Removes Cloning

About the death stuff, the rules explain a bit on it:

So, the argument of dying in extended due to carp or slipping on lube should not really take in consideration.

If that's going to be the ruling them I am totally fine with it. I hate forcing deaths onto people.

Anyone replying or planning to reply that we need an alternative, PLEASE READ THIS.

Per Matt's words, there exist chemicals which can be used to jump start a heart with CPR - adrenaline. This is similar to how defibs would work/have worked in the past. So if you're planning to reply that "We need an alternative, ala defibs," don't, as it's no longer contributing anything to the discussion. Kthx.

Is adrenaline available without the need of a chemist?

imagine not knowing what a "heart restart" refers to

we literally do not need cloning anymore, it is redundant if not an inferior choice to the other options of resuscitation. norepinephrine is our way out of depending on cloning for gameplay.

yeah characters can be permanently put out of the round but this is not something anyone hasn't experienced before ever since the changes that added mental traumas to cloning.

Norepinephrine, the starting chemical in medical, does not restart hearts.

Five units of adrenaline, a chem that needs to be made by a chemist, does.

"Resurrection" shouldn't be locked to one job. On most servers defibs are available roundstart.

Psychiatrists will have a lot less work given that cloning is the main cause of mental conditions. I'm not sure if this is how it already works, but to make up for the loss of work as a result of this PR, maybe make it so any mild-severe head trauma/brain trauma can cause mental conditions?

Psychiatrists were much more common before traumas were a thing, because it's a RP-heavy role that doesn't need to depend on mechanics. I don't believe we'll see a decrease in psychs due to cloning, but if anyone who plays psych actively wants to share their thoughts, this thread is a good place to do it. I believe traumas are still able to be gained due to brain damage.

You no longer get traumas from brain damage, but I agree that there were many more psychs before trauma. Imagine, finally being able to call the psych for someone drinking blood, or someone ranting about the dark god, or the violent prisoner in the brig, because they’re no longer handling a naked man who falls asleep every 2 minutes.

Really excited for this, cloning has waaay too many problems with it. Like Burger said, there really should be a way for medical to get adrenaline without a chemist. Maybe starting out with a chemical that's a less effective version of it?
