So, infiltration. This is one of the only game modes that still has malf in it. It is bad. It involves two of the most irritating antagonists to deal with as a crew aligned character, each that which cannot really be easily dealt with for a variety of different reasons. Because of how repetitive it has gotten, to not just me but a large amount of voices have also stated that this game mode sucks a ton. Don't believe me? They will arrive here just to tell you how bad this game mode sucks.

I've no real interest in writing out a point by point essay on why this game mode sucks, because anyone who's experienced it once can probably point out a lot of the flaws of this mixed game mode.

Also, malf is literally not possible to roll on secret EXCEPT for the fact that infiltration and corruption still exists. Malf was removed as its own game mode for a variety of different reasons, again, not interested in posting an essay about it. If you were here for when it got removed, you know the reasons why, better yet if you experience rounds with malf in it you can guess why few people except AI players like malf that much.

Therefore, I state to get rid of malf from all of the mixed game modes. They are, strictly speaking, awful for the game. Ninja itself is more easily salvageable for reasons not worth an essay to get into. Malf is not. Hear hear?

In all seriousness though, I disagree. Malf actually makes sense in this gamemode. And it gives the ninjas something more to do other than just "unga im gonna sneak around". Several gimmicks can revolve around the Malf and the ninjas working together, against one another, or being passive to one another. Just because you have experienced a few bad rounds recently, it doesn't mean the game mode needs to be removed. 

Rework it, don't remove it. 
Nerf the ninjas cloak. Add longer timers on the Malfs abilities, etc. 
Give security better means to work against a Malf. There really is no reason to remove this gamemode other than "I don't like it", and unfortunately, that isn't enough.

The only antagonist type that cleanly works alongside malf, in my opinion, would be traitors. But on the note of round types, I'm somewhat curious if removal is terribly warranted when the dynamic system in the works can theoretically remedy this by making malf unable to spawn alongside the more intense roles (i.e. ninjas).

I feel like given that malf was removed as a stand alone mode from secret, it makes sense to remove it from combined secret modes. If ninjas or traitors or whatever want a malfunctioning AI on their side, they can do that as a gimmick. ninjas especially shouldn't struggle all that much with subverting the AI.

However, I also agree with Carver in that, hopefully sooner rather than later, Dynamic will come and hopefully fix this all together.

For the love of all things holy, can we stop AXING shit? Removed Wizard, Remove Malf -- You are making it less and less fun for those in the European/Oceanic Regions. We went from 7 - 8 games modes to 2 - 3. It isn't nice. Instead of removing, just wait a few weeks for Dynamic to come into play.

What Caelphon said, the development is pretty much becoming Baystation at this point with trying and sometimes doing rapid-fire removals after a round was irking in one occasion.

As I said on the other thread,

Ninja and Wiz are generally the main game modes that enable people to go hehe you can't find me and no one enjoys it though that's really one of the ways to remain alive when your dealing with them. I recently, as did @limette, had a round where a wizard wordlessly threw stuff around and was just being a shitter, I asked for someone to do something and no one did. I've seen some really silly wizard name/gimmicks and they completely take me out of the experience.

And don't say I don't try out gimmicks because I most certainly do, I've done some interesting wizard gimmicks involving a play, I've done a fun gimmick was a tesla trooper with @Butterrobber202at one point and we were ninja.

There are however, serious flaws in the concept of Wiz and I urge people to code it themselves or deconstruct it, I myself had some lore and aesthetics ready for another type of "wiz" which tl;dr, is a technocratic agent who deals with reality deviants, all other wizes were just anomalies, they are dead, wizards are dead, there is only technology now, and that's the whole thing, so I'm sure we can pool something together.

But all in all, the wizards that we get all the time just don't help the server at times when its struggling in the early morning and we see 5 instant cryos, why I make sure to engage/watch first before staying or cryoing.
