I agree 100%. It would also "force" people to be more careful, knowing medical won't scramble the millisecond you take a point of damage and also kind of free up medical to not having to sit in the Medbay lobby staring at sensors, because that's kind of expected of them.

I seek ideas from the community. Lancer and me want to add more foodstuffs to the game. Lancer will do the sprites, I will do the rest. Ideas so far: fish (that is not space carps) + shrimps and a way to obtain them ramen noodles (not cup ramen) baked potato slices eclaires You can submit any idea (lore related or not), anything is welcome. There is no guarantee that it will be implemented. Only food, no drinks please. If you want to discuss this more privately for some reason, you can message me at Lanze#2028 on Discord, too. All input is welcome and appreciated.

Canon: Canon Event Type: Relaxation + Roleplay Event Scale: Big Assigned Admin: Arrow OOC Event Description: This is the continuation of the yearly Halloween Party, now for the Horizon. No intrigue, no sudden Sol Marines or a headless rider showing up. Just a good time. Who knows about it: Everyone knows about it. It has/will be announced on the ExtraNet and Newscasters: Host/participants: KingOfThePing (Host), Arrow (Assigned Admin) Notes: The Party will take place NOT on the Horizon, at least that is the plan for now. You will NOT be able to play normal jobs during this round, everyone attending is off-duty. Real after-work hours. More info when it becomes available. EDIT: It will take place on an Idris luxurious holiday cruise ship. An entire recreational deck has been booked by the company for you all to enjoy. This will also (for anyone who wants it to be) be a costume party. There are quite a few costumes in the code already, but if you want to see something specific NOT ALREADY IN THE GAME, message me at Lanze#2028 on Discord and I will add the costume idea (as long as it is appropiate) of your choice to the game and it will be available alongside the other costumes already in-game. They will NOT be custom items tied to your character. This is limited to ten (10) seven (7) more entries for now. The party will take place on the 29th of October because real Halloween is a Monday evening. There will be no checkpoints this time.

No. Maintenance access for security is regulated by alert levels. They are not supposed to enter maintenance, except when needed for an investigation or chase or whatever.

People socialize when smoking, just like in real life. I dont understand the question, just because you dont observe it doesn't mean it does not exist. People very much to stress smoking, very much do smoke breaks (together).

I am not sure why people repeatedly present their personal opinions about cigarettes from real life - neither does it matter here nor does it help the suggestion. You are all entitled to dislike smoking because you dont like how it smells while waiting for the bus or whatever, but it's a non-issue here and very off-topic. Even if you really have to let everyone know, then one time is enough. Back to the suggestion, I am split on this. It would be more realistic to have smoking lounges, but in the end it probably hurts the roleplay and roleplay comes first, so I do not support this suggestion.

Please remember in your suggestions that alt-titles do not come with different privileges or fields of work. This is the requirement that were set by The Higher Ups (tm). As a good example take Cook und Chef. They both do the same but one is slightly less educated in what they both do. -

Adding alt-titles is no problem. What has to be understood that it's fluff only (not that much of a problem with miners). And even then some Maintainer or Admin can veto it. But it's worth a try because personally I am a huge fan of alt-titles. Do you have any specific suggestions you would want to see added? -
As already discussed, I think the idea is good. The scuttling device being kind of just in the Central Hallway is a bit silly (meaning: very silly). I support this idea.

The problem is more how fluids other than welder fuel behaves. I uh, don't think that should be changed. So I either have to think about a workaround or we have to accept how it is. The main complaint on why this thread has been made has been disproven, though-

Right. I am not sure what consequences it would have for gameplay purposes when you make booze flammable. I will test this, if it impacts gameplay in a negative way.
