  1. Increased the conversion damage.
  2. Auto compressors will be ported... let's say in a different way. But they'll be there for the release. Stomachs are coming yes. Not on release tho probs.
  3. Important question. Should we add defibrillators to fix asystole or rely entirely on CPR?
  4. -1. Last time I had to PM you for something very simple you left the server for a few months, made a leaving post on a report on you and that post was less than great. I don't think you have the right temperament to be a moderator. If you do, you haven't shown it enough.
  5. You'll have to judge by pulse, temperature and blood pressure. High pulse means that they're either running or their heart is pumping fast - oxyloss can be a cause, or they might be fibrillating. Low blood pressure means they're, well, low on blood. Blood oxygenation is how oxygenated their blood is - if it's low, it means someone doesn't have much oxygen in their blood. Self explainatory.
  6. https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/7502
  7. Asystole sucks, kids. Don't do asystole.
  8. I havent seen this happen. Nor did this work when I tested it. I might've fixed this in a prior bugfix PR actually. Anywho, part 2 is now testmerged and seems to be working fine. The screenshots regarding Brainmed actually working should begin next week.
  9. Ladies and gentlemen, next round part 2 out of 3 will be testmerged. I do not have much to show in the form of gameplay effects since these are backend changes necessary for the full port. It's almost time. I am an optimistic person. I expect the full brainmed port to be testmerged either early december or late november.
  10. I have absolutely no interest in seeing off duty security characters roll up as TCFL. No.
  11. Worse than I thought. No thanks.
  12. Centcomm being green is a sin. Please make it gold and blue or something.
  13. I don't think either sprites look good honestly, but the Eris ones are worse. Canisters specifically, the other ones are ok.
  14. This will be testmerged for at least a week yeah. I'll need to adjust dmg values a bunch too I imagine.
  15. I think it's safe to say that I'm now pretty much focusing on porting brainmed. Here is the Kanboard link: https://kanboard.aurorastation.org/?controller=TaskViewController&action=show&task_id=117&project_id=2 To those that don't want to look or can't look, the porting is going to be divided in four parts: dividing organs into internal/external organs (this is done), dividing Human life processing into organs (waiting on that PR to be merged), brainmed mechanics and lastly the ingame tools and chemicals. Some things have yet to be decided - such as whether to keep cloning or other things, which is what this thread is for. This is a pretty ambitious project, yes. I will post updates in this thread whenever I'm able to. A more in-depth look of the roadmap:
  16. I understand it must be a bit questionable for someone with no characters to apply for a species. Whether they should be accepted is up to the loredev, however, I can vouch to Aticius being an excellent roleplayer.
  17. Seconding the removal for reasons already stated. I'm not sure they accomplish anything currently. Nor are they ever actually used to how hard it is.
  18. Done in https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/7432
  19. Sounds like something you should ahelp instead to me tbh.
  20. Voting for dismissal due to reasons already presented by others and myself.
  21. Dark blue looks amazing.
  22. None of these scenarios are true though. You can still act in something's interest without doing crazy bs like that. Like you can definitely argue that wasting personnel on bullshit like that is not really in the company's interest. As long as you don't let them raid the vault or keep important shit with no consequences, then you're still acting in the company's interest in this situation. A more fair comparison would be changeling experimentation or placing them in xenobio. There's a notable divide here between the choices a non-LI'd head would make. Considering them I would much rather be LI'd and have to do the controversial thing - imo it generates much more RP. As someone who has been playing heads of staff with implants, no thanks. They're still good for narrative purposes and I enjoy their presence. -1 Not sure how relevant this is but switching them to mindshield implants has been a rejected suggestion that has been dismissed by head staff. This is pretty much the same concept - removing implants - so idk why things would change this time around. It hasn't been that long since either.
  23. Our investigation is done. We focused on three key issues in this complaint: OOC attitude, the sacrifice rune spam and the conversions. The rest seems fine - the brig fight, for instance, was fine as it seems like standard escalation to me. The OOC attitude was found to be a nonissue by Goret. It didn't look that heated. The sacrifice rune spam was handled in round. I looked into the conversions, especially Derrick's. Here's what I found: SAY: Alvin Mildred: (Ceti Basic) Mens. SAY: Alvin Mildred: (Ceti Basic) Help me with something? SAY: Derrick Mens: (Ceti Basic) What is it? SAY: Alvin Mildred: (Ceti Basic) I need help carrying something. SAY: Alvin Mildred: (Ceti Basic) Can you come assist. SAY: Derrick Mens: (Ceti Basic) ...carrying what? SAY: Alvin Mildred: (Ceti Basic) I just need to carry something... SAY: Alvin Mildred: (Ceti Basic) Dream sign ''Evil sealing talisman''! After this, Derrick was stunned, cuffed, mouth taped and converted. This is not proper antagonist roleplay. We are not here to win, we're here to roleplay and these actions aren't conducive to roleplay. At this point the cult hadn't gone loud, so there was no proper escalation and there was definitely not enough roleplay given to the victim. A warning will be handed out for this behaviour. In essence, this round was really bad. It happens. Not every round can be great, there will be some bad ones. All we can do is reflect on how to make them better. I am sure we all learned something from this one. This thread will be closed in 24 hours.
