I guess this is solved.

Had a discussion with the team, considering what happened, your behavior, and your notes, we decided to keep the ban for now. Appeal denied.

Forgot to update this, but here the lastest updates to the Tajara lore: The food lore has been expanded with the addition of the notable dishes section to the tajara, pra, dpra and nka pages. This should cover all recipes in game and stuff that might be added in the future. Also, thanks to witchbells for providing the lore related to the candies. https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Tajara#Notable_Dishes https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=People's_Republic_of_Adhomai#Notable_Dishes https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Democratic_People's_Republic_of_Adhomai#Notable_Dishes https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=New_Kingdom_of_Adhomai#Notable_Dishes The little adhomai/district six page got new content: -five new spooky urban legends that might be true in a way or other: https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Little_Adhomai#Urban_Legends -a new gang and a new group: https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Little_Adhomai#Raging_Ha.27rron_Club https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Little_Adhomai#Kazarrhaldiye_Operations_Group -two places of interest: https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Little_Adhomai#Places_of_Interest

Maybe turn them into other morphs instead?

On the horse question, it is not really the best example when you consider that technology and other more modern benefits would likely be a better gift than animals not adapted to Adhomai. The Tajara have creatures that serve as the same role as horses anyway. But, it is really a minor detail that does not affect the whole picture. Anyway, application accepted.

Dronz' Command Whitelist app
Alberyk replied to DronzTheWolf's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
Sorry for the wait. We decided to give you a trial. It will go until 19 of this month. -
Great application, but I have a few remarks and questions to do. While I can get confusing, Tajara is used for singular and multiple cases of the species, Tajaran is an adjective. Tajarans is not a thing. But that is not really an issue here The horse part is a bit confusing to me, because Adhomai already has creatures that can be used as mount, but I suposse that would be possible since alien powers were helping the rebels and would be seen as something exotic, but would not likely continue after the first revolution. Anyway, some questions before I can make a decision: What Tavarr thinks of the other two factions, the PRA and the NKA? What are Tavarr's plans in Tau Ceti? Is he after something?

It is on the discord rules, but I am going to see what other staff think in regards to this appeal.

So, you did not know what white power and the nazi armband meant?

Once again, people don't know the rules. The fact that antags happen does not stop you from making the interactions or events canon; as long it is reasonable and don't break the rules related to metaknowledge and the like. However, reviewing the antagonist and round formula is not an easy task, and if we replace it with random ghost spawners, we might end with the same thing in the long run. They were a "success" during the kotw because they were new and involved the ongoing events. But, take note that they pretty much used the canon rules we had for regular antags. You could just totally ignore their existence if you want, something not possible in regards to canon events. I find quite hard to fully focus on the canon aspect of the server non-stop, because the game makes it impossible due to how it works. As danse pointed out, antag rounds are rather important in regards to how we structure the events in the server. Now, "most" people don't want to play antag due to a series of factors. They don't know how to improv, they don't have a plan, they don't want to contribute to the round as an active actor, or they are just too afraid to fuck up and get yelled at. I am also unsure what we can exactly do to fix most of those elements, because outside of giving some tips and help; becoming a better roleplayer is an effort that can only be done by the person in question. And people already get really angry if we give people leniency when they mess up as antag, mostly when they are new players. The best move is likely to stomp out people being dicks in ooc after the rounds, which can already be done when brought to our attention. Good talk and all, but I am kinda tired of reading the same old conclusions without a proposal on how to solve this problem attached to them.

"None" implies someone that is stateless, which I guess would be an okay option. However, Wildlands and Unaffiliated frontier don't make sense as an option, because they are not really states or recognized entities. Accents are already there to imply some kind of origin/background. Citizenship is more related to the current legal status of the character.

The issue is simple: you went around finding out what wire did what at round start as a non engineering staff for no reason in character. And if you think you can pull: "my character is a part time criminal", for every time you need to find an excuse to get ready to hack some doors, it is not going to fly. You should not go around checking the airlocks' wires without a reason in character. That is why you got banned. It is powergaming, and it is in the rules.

The Crown Withdraws From the Tajaran Citizenship Act 08.12.2462 In the face of the Hadiist announcement of dismantling the Tajaran Citizenship Act, an emergency meeting was called by Crown Heir Shumaila. The Parliament spent hours discussing the Kingdom’s stance on the issue. The Chamber of Nobles proposed recognizing the Republican act as valid, suggesting that whoever had plans to join their side had already done so. The Officers Party sided with this previous view, citing that allowing the Al’mariist enemy to bolster its numbers would place the Kingdom at the disadvantage in a possible future conflict. The Chamber of Commoners remained deeply divided on this issue. The Commoners Party demanded that the Kingdom oppose the withdrawal from the Citizenship Act; they claimed that such provisions were necessary to maintain the Armistice. NanoTrasen officials and Biesellite representatives were consulted on the matter. They advised that withdrawing from the agreement was in the nation’s best interest. This suggestion caused outrage among the members of the Officers Party. The militarists accused them of working with their Hadiist allies instead of considering the Kingdom’s diplomatic efforts. While the Crown Heir’s initial stance on the issue was unknown, she decided to side with the Chamber of Nobles. Shumaila proposed that the Kingdom also withdraw from the Citizenship Act. Even with the Crown Heir’s support, the Commoner’s Party continued its opposition to the motion. After hours of debate, negotiation, and the Chamber of Commoners’ decision being overruled by the Chamber of Nobles, the Parliament agreed with Shumaila’s proposal. The Kingdom will no longer take part in the Tajaran Citizenship Act. This decision was received with mixed feelings by the population. Many fear that this will lead to the breakdown of the peace in Adhomai. When asked about King Azunja’s current situation, Crown Heir Shumaila assured the public that he was healthy and would likely return to public life soon.

President Hadii Denounces the Tajaran Citizenship Act 05.12.2462 After the investigation of the officials involved in the Tajaran Citizenship Act by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, President Hadii has announced the formal withdrawal of the People’s Republic of Adhomai from this agreement. The inspection revealed a criminal scheme; countless bureaucrats and subversive elements were abusing the citizenship transfer program to smuggle valuable information and personnel to the rebels and monarchists. At least five hundred arrest orders were placed under the charges of treason. President Hadii addressed the nation over the radio and television with the following speech: “People of Adhomai, once again they suffer aggression by those who want to destroy the Hadiist dream. The Armistice- what was a symbol of peace and progress - was used by criminals and spies to undermine our Republic. Negotiation is impossible with the enemies of the Tajara people, any attempt by them is nothing but another plot. Continuing the Tajaran Citizenship Act is against the principles of their nation; as no sane Tajara would choose to abandon the Republic. The Party has decided to terminate the program for the sake of the Tajara people. Whoever decided to stay has a bright place in the future.” Despite the protest from DPRA and NKA dignitaries, the Ministry of External Affairs has already dismantled the program and archived all requests. The Republic of Biesel, one of the states present during the Armistice, has supported President Hadii in this motion.

Hadiist Tyrants Disrespects the Armistice; Families Separated In another act befitting of his paranoia and tyranny, the Hadiist usurper has arrested a family of five without proper justification. Zahid Rhakislav - alongside his wife Shahar and three children - was detained while moving from Al’mari to Shungsta. All of them had recently acquired the proper citizenship to reunite with their extended family peacefully living in our nation, a right well earned to all Tajara after a decade of war. The family had decided to leave their home to live with Shahar’s grandparents, who were struggling to make a living in Northern Ras'nrr. The lack of empathy in the Hadiist regime is clear. The Hadiist secret police may claim that the victims were spies, but this could not be farther from the truth. They have no intention of fulfilling the Armistice agreement: at the first opportunity, they create hurdles and spread lies to stop Tajara from joining the righteous cause of Al’mariism. President Almrah Harrlala demanded the deportation of the family to the Democratic People’s Republic territory, so they may unite with their kin. The usurper has no right to interfere in the treaty signed by all nations of Adhomai. His orders to freeze the bloated Hadiist bureaucracy to stop more Tajara from escaping his nightmarish state is an act of aggression. This is proof that Malik does not desire peace on Adhomai, only more power to himself. The Tajara people stand against this.

Al'mariist Spies Captured! 02.12.2462 The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced today the arrest of five spies involved with the Liberation Army. The group was caught by a border patrol attempting to defect to the Democratic People’s Republic through the Northern Ras'nrr frontier. A quick search of their belongings revealed that they were carrying documents containing sensitive information, likely with the intent of providing classified intelligence to the ALA. Before their attempt, the criminals made use of the Tajaran Citizenship Act to acquire DPRA citizenship; this was done to avoid any future deportation request. One of them was previously working in the national nuclear program. They are now waiting in Try'urma Penitentiary for further interrogation. President Hadii has since indicated his intention of refusing any request to extradite the criminals. The Ministry of External Affairs has decided to nullify their citizenship transfer due to its misuse to commit a crime. They will be fairly judged as Republican citizens under the charges of treason. President Hadii has also denounced the act of aggression by the Al’mariist state; they have clearly failed in maintaining the terms of the Armistice. Security services suspect that many other spies have used and plan to use the Tajaran Citizenship Act to undermine the Republic, and as such the entire program has been frozen until a thorough investigation can be done. Embassies outside of S'rand'marr also have stopped offering this service. The Adhomai Chronicle would like to remind its readers to report any subversive elements to its nearest Party representative. Everyone is involved in the struggle for the future of Adhomai.

In my opinion, I am not a big fan of people without a whitelist applying to be the species writer. Because I believe that some kind of experience in game playing as the species is necessary. I don't think that someone applying for skrell and then applying for its writer would be heavy handed, but I kinda think that someone without a whitelist applying to be the person that decides most of the species' direction not even having the species whitelist is kinda overshooting it. While I have nothing against you as a player or as a possible member of the team, I don't think that jumping right away as the species main writer is the best deal here. Skrell's lore is in need of a lot of work, and I think that some pratical experience can make the difference here.

Unsure how old you are or how much you know, but there is something called dog whistle. It is when a group uses coded imagery/words to identify each other/transmit a message without being "caught". Your profile picture was cropped to hide the shirt saying white power and the nazi party armband. But, what caught my attention was the presence of ropes, which is a reference to the turner diaries. Now, for most people, that would just be a pepe with a gun, but for anyone that had some contact/knowledge with this kind of stuff, they would get it right away. So, I did a small google image search and found the original one. I applied the ban right away because at this point, I have no real tolerance in regards to this type of thing, it was a really big problem in the community at some point and it should be stamped out as soon it is possible. I am also unsure what satiric purposes means here. Because a satire is essentially the use of irony, sarcasm, ridicule, or the like, in exposing, denouncing, or deriding vice, folly, etc. And there is nothing like that in your profile picture. If you did not want people to think you were a neo-nazi, you should have not a picture that was nothing but full of neo-nazi imagery. Anyway, from the discord rules and why the ban is justified: I am also unsure if I should even give you the benefit of doubt, since you changed your profile picture to Obama wearing a kufiya, which kinda plays in another alt-right conspiracy of him being a foreigner/muslim. So, I guess you are either totally oblivious to what this stuff means, totally lost in some kind of ultra silly irony thinking it justifies everything, or a neo-nazi from what I can see.

Just a small detail: this is the same as tasers, the only real difference between the regular taser bolts and the disruptor beams is that the disruptor one deals a bit more of pain but it is slower. Also, I am sure that both are stopped by armor in the same way.

This application shows good knowledge of the lore and uses it properly to create a character. Application accepted.
