While I guess this might be a valid point, the issue is that this is not just someone validhunting or exploding the engine for no reasons, it is pretty much outright creep and predatory behavior. It stops being a matter of being a dummy in game and steps into the territory of harassing people. I do not want players to have to deal with what you did, people come here to roleplay and play space station 13, not to deal with someone's kinks and weird pms. I will probably expand the perma rule word to allow for such exceptions too. Ok. But, we have a big issue when said fetish is being a problem to people and seems to have an effect on the server/community. There are better mediums to explore this stuff, the server and community is not one. Someone told you that they were feeling uncomfortable and blocked you. Maybe you should have thought that others who ignored / didn't want anything to do with you were probably feeling the same. People can feel shame/guilt or are trying to be nice and not get others in trouble, or just don't want to deal with this at all. Some empathy would have been useful here, think about what others feels too. This is not an excuse for this behavior. I think you are forgetting something else: the other people that you were involved with. You are not the only person in this story, you might just get them harassed or trashtalked because they were associated with you at some point, even if nothing happened. Like I said in the last point, it seems that you are not really interested in what other people might feel. In my conclusion, you deserve the ban, you should not be part of this community. This is not the place to do this kind of stuff.

Okay. So, this was not gank. I will explain why: The cult getting armed/assaulting the armor had a clear reason and purpose for their plans. They were not really affer to kill the head of security, and you coming by them was really just bad timing. Now, you opened fire and they fought you, that is a fair reaction from both sides. The cult did not run out of nowhere to murder your character or anything, it was pretty much you being on the wrong place at the wrong time. If it was just a random assistant that was not related to the situation in any way or shape, that would have been gank. So, Garn is right here, sorry.

Application accepted. -
Flashes are already really weak, we don't really another reason to make them totally useless by one or two loadout points. I am unsure if we can go with this.

A bit confused, but looking at the screenshoots; you opened fire first. What did exactly you say or what did they do before you opened fire?

I don't want you in the team due to some really awful behavior in ooc: For extra context: this was you trying to get people to vote for a gamemode that not enough people were readying up after it failed to start a round twice. -
Cultist robes have roughly the same armor values as security officer armor.

Peppermint's Stinky Zhan Application (Tajara)
Alberyk replied to Peppermint's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
I don't have anything to ask here. Just a small thing however: due to the Hadiist position on the nomads, they would likely fight for whoever would leave their society and ways of life alone, ala and nka in certain cases, so the mercenary part is slowly being replaced by an ideological fight. So, yes, a nomad character could just fight for ideology just fine. Besides, if they were born after the first revolution, they would likely see little to no mercenary work. Anyway, you know the lore and used it very well in the application. Besides you did great during the events. Application accept. -

Looks like this is being added to the game as a vision option, so won't be needed as an item.

Expanded on artistic representation of some ma'ta'ke gods: https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Ma'ta'ke_Gods Mata'ke's sword and spears are sometimes replaced by a rifle in images. Mata'ke is also commonly portrayed as a zhan by zhan-khazan communities. Njarir mata'ke is a thing, but it is far rarer since the first revolution Marryam is commonly depicted as a Hharar, with the njarir version being far more common in the new kingdom. Rock nomads will always portray Rredouane as a zhan. Shumaila's images can be either the m'sai, hharar or njarir.

Decisive Victory at Gakal’zaal Opens Way to Liberation! Yizarus gathered the rest of his Unathi Warriors and Tajaran levies in an attempt to organize an offensive, despite the constant threat of advancing freedom fighters and civil unrest. All settlements under the Hegemony’s control had their garrisons drafted. Unathi pirates and other mercenaries were hired, after having been promised riches, to bolster the Overlord’s army. Motor-driven sledges, field guns, and even breacher suits that were available to the oppressors - brought in to support their attack. A vanguard of the Unathi, followed by their auxiliary troops, marched from the Capital towards the northern regions of the planet. The feudal expedition, led by the tyrant himself, sought to strike at the heart of the rebellion with overwhelming force. Villages caught in their path were quickly subjugated and ransacked, leaving behind a trail of destruction. The Unathi Army continued its march for days. Guerrilla cells that dared to face them in open combat were quickly routed. News of their presence reached the ears of the Tajaran population ahead of the approaching army - this caused many to abandon their homes and flee further into the hinterlands. Andranik Huwaytat rallied the Gakal’zaal Liberation Front to oppose the Overlord. Instead of facing them directly in combat, the freedom fighters harassed the enemy with hit-and-run tactics. Mistaking the unwillingness to fight for weakness, they chased the liberators further into the north. When the feudal forces were away from the warmer regions of the planet, the Gakal’zaal Liberation Front stood their ground. Despite the apparent disadvantage, the freedom fighters had already set their plan in motion. Through collaboration with the Tajaran population under the Unathi rule, the Liberation Front infiltrated the ranks of the Overlord’s army. Countless Tajara soldiers, officers and workers became double agents in the name of liberty; they were waiting for the right moment to strike. On the night before the supposed battle the signal was given: a Mah Kii could be heard on the horizon. Entire Tajara battalions turned hostile against their masters. Many loyalist levies and commanders were quietly eliminated during the night, never having even woken up. False alarms were given, and misleading reports were transmitted through radio channels. Armed Tajara assaulted the Unathi and mercenary soldiers without hesitation. Chaos took over the army as the infighting and deserting ensued. When word of the mutiny reached the Unathi vanguard, they found themselves trapped between the Liberation Front and the rebellious levies. Rushing to their supplies and weapons, they found out that many of their vital stores were already sabotaged or stolen: ammunition crates were empty or filled with snow, rations were poisoned, and Nm’shaan sugar was poured into the engines of motor sledges. Logistics and guild workers were also at the side of the rebellion. The Gakal’zaal Liberation Front advanced against Yizarus’ army, encircling most of their forces. The Unathi warriors fought for three days until they were able to break through the encirclement. The mercenaries and pirates abandoned their positions as soon they could; they escaped into the countryside to continue their looting rampage. The remnants of the expedition then started retreating to Zikala. The way back was littered with traps and snipers hiding in the snow. Liberation Front agents, under the cover given by collaborators, planted explosives and detonated bridges as the feudal host progressed. The retreat inflicted further casualties on the tyrant's retinue. A mere fraction remains of the once mighty army, its proud soldiers reduced to hungry and beaten ruffians. Overlord Yizarus, having survived the offensive, ordered the fortification of Zikala. The rest of his forces are now taking defensive positions around the city. The remaining pockets of loyalist resistance are being snuffed out as the Liberation Front advances towards the capital. Commander Andranik Huwaytat has offered another chance for Yizarus to surrender and end the conflict peacefully. More Tajara flock to the Liberation Front, both native and foreign volunteers, as news of the victory spreads on Gakal’zaal and beyond. Join the fight today!

Character complaint - Yari Vorimankov
Alberyk replied to Karhast's topic in Complaints Boards Archive
Well, if the first person did not have a book, I believe that taking it away would be an issue. But taking in consideration they had something to suspect about it being a group and the fact that a part of the cult went violent, I don't really see much issue here. -

Federal Investigation Bureau Claims Victory over Gangs Terrorizing Mendell City! Following a sting operation in the region of the Romanovich Cloud this saturday, the Federal Investigation Bureau has announced that the gangs behind the current crime wave have been effectively dismantled. A cargo ship, containing valuable objects, was used as bait to attract the criminals. As the ship was boarded by the bandits, they were ambushed by law enforcement officers waiting in the spacecraft. A part of the shipment was sent to a nearby NanoTrasen station - the NSS Aurora. Most of the items were secured, despite reports of violence among the crew. The operation was deemed a success, resulting in the capture of thirty-three individuals. Investigation of the area surrounding the Cloud revealed that derelict mining outposts were being used by the gangsters to hide contraband and supply their forces. Further arrests were also performed by Mendell’s City police this morning. A total of three hundred warrants were fulfilled. A large smuggling scheme in District Six was uncovered by officers. Besides dealing with weapons, EVA equipment and valuable items, the criminals were involved in wildlife trafficking. Several cages containing Adhomian animals were confiscated. The largest enclosure, albeit found empty, measured around four meters tall. Officers confirmed that the arrests were related to the group that has been terrorizing Little Adhomai. Most of the detained suspects were Tajaran nationals residing in Tau Ceti through work visas. Working with evidence provided by the NanoTrasen Security Department, the FIB was able to track down and stop the rising gangs from gaining a foothold in Mendell. These criminal groups engaged in turf warfare with the existing factions within District Six, attempting to make use of Tajaran superstitions to manipulate the population. Due to the swift and decisive action of both law enforcement agencies, another security crisis was averted.

Being More Specific About Disabilities

Whatever restriction there is, should be probably added to the job pages. I will attempt to do that next week.
