Hello So when i took the ahelp for the explosion i jumped over to the bridge. I did not see anyone had actually died and medical was dragging you to med bay to heal you. Generally i just look at the effect of an explosion to see if someone should be bwoinked over it. I briefly mentioned this in msay and a staff member whom i forget agreed so i figured that was that. I had to jump up and go pick up my sister so its possible i was more focused on that. Sorry

This is only because arrow provided a PR in the thread that fulfilled the wishes of the OP but simultaneously removed the access from janitors. So people voiced criticism in that same thread. I feel like this is a specific instance of it being ok.

That is perfectly acceptable logic. I only think it becomes inconsistent when you decide to outwardly display emotion over a tajaran who had already been lasered (where they on the ground because of this?). So the HoS showed up, lasered the tajaran and then you stabbed them with the screwdriver?

I will handle this. First some things. Here is the relevant rule That being said rev rounds are definitely in a more grey area. The lines are supposed to be blurred and antagonistic action can become justified regardless of what side you may or may not be on. HOWEVER i have some questions. Alright, so a rev round with a gimmick revolving around sec dishing out boots, medium style. Your character despite being "inexperienced" goes along with this. This is of course fine and i do not see an issue. Ok so here is where i get to a bit of a problem. Maybe you can clear this up for me but i find it a little odd that your character is not distressed by beating people in public and not hindered by their inexperience here but suddenly is when he is outnumbered? It just seems kind of strange added to the fact that the HoS had already lasered the tajaran in question. Now i was not present during this round so it is entirely possible i am missing some key info or my early morning reading skills are making me roll this investigation check with disadvantage. Perhaps you can clear this up for me. In the mean time i have mentioned nursie on discord. She will hopefully post here soon when awakes from her catnap.

Administrative action is only ever reactive. An EMT has a reason and a skillset to go chasing after injured people in dangerous situations. Said person will now have access to every single department. All this is going to do is hamper antags more and end rounds quicker.

I think we have a problem here. When there is a body people tend to fight over it. EMTs are some of the worst who will gladly charge into horrible situations to recover a body even when they might not have all the information available. I am not sure if these consequences will be worth canning the PR but i do think its something we need to be aware of. It is certainly not as easy as "just punish the EMTs who are dumb".

Yeah, thats fair but i still would prefer you PM them next time. I know we have killed mice before that where causing the AI turrets to spam stun logs though.

I am struggling to believe you had wikipedia articles open of mice nesting habits and thinking "Aha... it says right here mice need carboard and things to build their nests. this is totally a legitimate reason for me doing this. I am not doing this just to piss off medical players!"

The rules are not a comprehensive list. They do not detail every single niche scenario on behavior you can and cannot exhibit. This is one of those situations. You yourself admit that "its annoying but..". There is absolutely no reason for you to chew on medical's resource boxes other than to be an annoying butthead. I probably would have deleted you too.

These are all really good arguments in my opinion. I find myself agreeing with this PR. I do not really have anything eloquent to say here that has not already been said.

Hello I banned you due to what i perceived as unacceptable behavior. As stated in this thread i explained to you in an ahelp that the AI was allowed legally to prevent you from access atmos due to you not being an atmos tech. It was not an emergency. I do not think it is acceptable to claim the AI is rogue for doing something that i told you it could do. Rogue AIs essentially never happen and this being stated over the radio is an easy way for the AI to get killed or targeted unfairly. While i understand you where just trying to role play your character i think hacking in through maint and then hiding and welding yourself in a locker is a very unreasonable response. I felt that this type of behavior was in line with the criticisms directed against you in willow's complaint. While i acknowledge and understand you have made improvements in the three months since then i consider this situation to be particularly egregious.
