Hello I gave you this warning for the following reasons. 1. You claimed you where acting a certain way due to your loyalty implant messing with you. 2. You claimed you where not ordered to do so when i asked you why you did not shoot the people trying to pull the vampire away. So i will address point number 1 first. You ahelped previously and asked how the LI affects being thralled. I told you that if a full powered vamp enthralls you then it overrides the LI. Thats it. It doesnt exist. you're still completely you and completely normal except you're a slave to a vampire. I felt that given your reasoning of "well i was not ordered to do so" was an attempt to be intentionally slow. The end being placing the vampire who enthralled you at a disadvantage. I defend this statement with a number of premises. Some anecdotale. 1. I have personally seen you be very robust at combat when you need to be. You know when to shoot. You know when to stun. You're a sec main. You dont survive in this role without being familiar with combat. 2. you follow the textbook behavior pattern i have seen so many times. I am willing to believe you are not doing this intentionally. I think most do not do it intentionally. The pattern is thus. A. Get enthralled/subverted/coerced by antag B. ahelp with a "can i do x? should y stop x" in this case its if your LI overrides the enthralling. I am reasonably certain you wanted me to tell you that the enthrallment was invalid. C. With no alternative the player begins "playing worse". almost always it comes down to "well if X does not explicitly tell me to do it i wont do it!" or "well.... ill just... play a little worse". The end result of course being that the vampire is at a disadvantage. Now again, i must repeat that i am willing to believe you did not do this intentionally. A warning is pretty much the lowest form of punishment i can give you. It is an advisory to remind you the place of the loyalty implant and how we expect you to play if you are ever subverted by nefarious means.

I do regret blowing up at Burger. Someone in my position should not be saying such things.

Yeah this is fair. Though im sorry to say that prate is pretty correct. Historically those are things we treat as IC issues. At best we might bwoink people if they are being a meme which is what it sounds like prate did? I dont think there is much else to say here.

Lings are still going to save up for horror form. It is the only thing that gets you any measure of roleplay currently. A changeling is supposed to be able to imitate and mimic other crewmembers. This is impossible to do because you need much more than just someones appearance. You need their ID and clothing and good luck getting all of that without killing them. I am simply going to take the path of least resistance. If you want lings to interact with people then you need to give them stronger tools to allow them to do so.

I will explain why i permanently banned you. 1. You refused to listen to what i told you to do in an ahelp. 2. You explicitly told me you would continue doing what i told you not to do. 3. You insulted me All you had to do was say something like "Alright garn i understand that next time i can just retreat a safe distance. This way i can remain near security if i want to and still not get involved in fights", Instead you made an appeal in which you implied i was drunk. I am sorry but i will be denying this appeal. You are free to make another one at your convenience.

Ok well i am sorry but i am going to stick my initial reaction. The only take away i have from this complaint is that you did not personally enjoy an event i did. That is fine.

Sending confirmation faxes is metagaming. Full stop. I have always bwoinked people who do this. A good faith effort should be made to follow the order barring any serious or egregious issues.

Yeah but the difference is when i say "there is probably a better way" my answer would be "more turrets" or "more things to fight". I feel like you think it would be mean scrapping the turrets altogether when i liked what they did. The turrets where killed very easily once they learned that ballistics where better.

You said that there is probably a better way to keep security entertained. I said that there probably is because..... there is probably always a better way.

1) You managed it pretty well. You even had time to tell me in LOOC "this even sucks never do it again" 2) Maybe because i told you i cannot turn them off and that im not controlling them. You can believe whatever you want IC. I was fine with you guys just trying to kill the turrets. I am very surprised nobody tried to kill me. Probably but i wanted to use turrets and i am pleased with how the event went.

So. fight or flight is a thing and generally non-sec need to err on the side of retreating. the elevator doors where not closed so it was possible to retreat a safe distance and still remain near security. Wanting to remain near security is fine but helping them fight in that situation was not fine. That is why i said it was dumb. This was only going to be a note but it turned into a permaban due your unwillingness to listen to me and then insulting me. Do you have anything to say about any of this?

i asked you "hey please dont do this thing" you told me "no i will do this thing when i want to" you then told me "you must be really bored. get off your power trip sweetheart" If i tell you to do something in an ahelp you have to do it. You not only told me you would refuse to do it that way but you then insulted me. you could have just retreated a safe distance. that would have been fine. Also its probably best if when making a ban appeal you do not call into question whether or not the admin is drunk.....

Sorry after reading this complaint i do not consider there to be anything valid in it and i will explain why. 1. This is what i consider something small. I originally planned for something much much more chaotic but considering the vote split i decided for more of a balance. In this case i chose to present the crew with a scenario and see what they do to try to solve it. Said scenario was explicitly contained in one single area. No threats sought you out. The only danger posed to you was the turrets. Very few people attempted to talk to me so i did not really get to use any other plans i had. That was fine of course. A chef took out one turret with a ripley and security eventually learned that lasers are not very effective on them. 2. There is a certain formula that accompanies a sizable portion of all complaints. First a person creates their own definition of what "heavy roleplay" means. Then the player checks events on station against this definition. Finally the player makes a complaint saying "X is not good for heavy roleplay". The issues being we have jumped ahead four million light years. I reject your initial premise of heavy roleplay that is inconsistent with the event i did. 3. The initial decompression was caused by build mode memes. I intended to replace a door and ended up deleting a wall. This of course put a hole in the station which sucked out all the air. It took me maybe two minutes to patch the hole and then replace the air with magic admin commands. Any and all decompression after that was the fault of whoever set up the emitters.

antique laser is a cool antag objective. Let it stay. Also sabres are very cool and i support the captain wearing one.

This would be really cool. Its going to require a lot of work to setup in a round but i do not think that is an issue. The rewards can be balanced by simply making the away missions fairly challenging. Instant kills are super lame but our robust medical and damage systems allow us to take advantage of things that kill you slowly.
