1. I support this because Elliot shows good demonstration in programming when we have a conversation together sometimes.
2. I want to add to Brutish's feedback and that I am in complete agreement with him. I want to post a positive feedback for once. You need to take a look at these. Regarding Emergency Response Team, you'll see why we said that this was a huge stretch. Compare where you're at right now (Security Officer) and what you stated that you were an Emergency Response Team. Not only this is a huge stretch but it is a leap over important occupations. I'll say this to help you understand our community better. It is undeniable that we have noticed that you did not carefully proofread your application. "NSS AROUA in 2456. Just two years after its construction." This is sort of an embarrassing mistake. You also should touch up your format so that it is easier to read for all of us. What do I mean by this? "Name: John Doe". Don't do this, instead do this, "Name: John Doe". Also, you should fluff out and keep your character from becoming Mary Sue, a person who can overcome and solve everything. A good Mary Sue reference would be Rey from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Dorthy from Wizard of the Oz, Kirito from Sword Art Online, Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail. Your OOC answers are very basic but we would appreciate if we had more information than as it is at the moment. https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Emergency_Response_Team https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Nanotrasen_Corporation I wanted to post a positive feedback for once. You know, they say if you try. It'll just work out. I say Neutral. Feel free to contact me for help.
3. Ah, yes. I do recall this incident. I will only limit my words to what you know now and keep investigations which includes the notification, interview, summarized case, decision-making, punishment, and so on. These matters are confidential and will not be released to the public. I only can assure you certain people will be doing a check over the entirety of investigation from IC perspective and see what went wrong. As I read this complaint, I can tell you that I am mainly involved in the writing of ACT 2. It is as Eve says, you cannot claim that your OOC innocence will grant you from immunity from negative actions henceforth your OOC testimony of “how things actually happened” will mean irrelevant to IC testimony. To summarize, we do not give out people’s testimony or our investigation in the public in which will violate our promised IC confidentiality. That’s somewhat not how it should work. You should still have reported the offender for this infraction and listed down your witnesses on this incident report regardless of letting sleeping dogs lie unknowingly whether they’re vicious or not. By doing so, you are able to give more than enough information for us to piece together to why did this happen. You’ve chose to take this path and sleeping dogs woke up and have bitten you. Before I go on to discuss your red flags. I feel a need to discuss this with you, this was reviewed twice and approved by Synnono to proceed. It’s not something that one can type it out and turn it in without going a specific laid out process. The process with incident reports is more tedious and elaborate than administrators proceeding to punish a player for rule-breaking. We have one administrator and moderator that breathes over our neck to ensure that we are doing our job appropriately as Central Command Internal Affairs Agent. I will be presenting you a small touching from your testimony and how we were led to this decision. Central Command Internal Affairs Agent is a voluntary OOC position, we do not get paid to do this. Before someone gets snarky, this does not mean that we do not care about our OOC position. I can say this without violating witness’s integrity. There were indeed testimonies against you on this. People have seen this occurred. As I review your testimony once more regarding this situation, you are the only person to have ever mentioned a small fight involving casualties and so you alone decided to call the shots and moved the bodies into Medical Bay’s morgue. By doing so, you have given the bodies over to Medical Department in which they’re responsible for this. A “false” report? It may seem as a false report to you. As I have typed this response, I’ve reviewed your incident in “IR- 3-05-2460” by Cooper Sandavol (OOC: Kreig). I can assure you that this report is not false. Your CCIAA of this specific incident would be Alistair LaCroix (SVRODeath). You’ve also attempted to appeal your punishment from your character from the “actual” report. Like how administrators punish players or an judge, they will look at your notes/criminal records and decide what punishment would be the best place on you. If that was your first time, you may be given a gentle slap to the wrist… A second time? you will be given a harder slap to the wrist and may accounted to be a repeated offender to remind you not to do this again. It is like how we behave. This is a similar incident that had unfolded and can be used against you. That’s not the issue. The issue is, you are a Crime Scene Investigator which means you are part of Security Department. According to testimonies, as a member of Security Department, you threatened an Emergency Technician Sherer. This is a reminder that you should not threatening crew members. Security Department is there to ensure the safety of crew members, not to attack your own crew members. Security positions are also expected to have high tolerance with rude crew members and hold it in. There are testimonies against you saying this happened. Even in the court, testimonies ARE evidences. We do not investigate throughout OOC logs to discover whether you really did have that taser weapon as Eve said, the court do not have the capabilities to hold attack log whether person X hit person Y. Central Command Internal Affairs Agents are not Gods as administrators literally are. We investigate through testimonies, radio logs, AI feedbacks, camera snapshot attached with incident report, emergency message system, and so on. When we piece a puzzle together and suppose we found a said person was proven to be a liar, the person is more likely to be fired without a chance to return which goes back to the point of evidence. Most of the time, our investigation takes too long awhile to complete because either: A CCIAA is having difficulties piecing the investigation together and is doing their best attempt to piece the investigation together. Sometimes, they will ask for a partner or team to assist the lead investigator. A CCIAA has personal time and needs to leave for that specific reason. We don’t force people to do this. As said, this is not a paid job. A CCIAA is taking their time to wait on someone's availability to deliver to have an interview. These are the frequent reasons why our investigation takes long, under no circumstances do we ever rush our investigation. You do not see our investigation that ends often in less than three days lest inaccuracies in our investigation. I can assure you that this incident was not a minor incident and required more than enough time to complete it. The next three flags are already answered in prior explanations. Off topic: I know this is a public mistake with me. I am not UnknownMurderer or UnknownMurdered. I am UnknownMurder.
4. Works a bit fine on my phone and I use Chrome browser on my phone all the time. Could you screenshot what it looks like? What phone do you use? We need information! I am typing on my phone atm.
5. If we don't have any other actual movie or such. These are the only creativity in mind and as no one has proposed a different movie category; this is our only proposal on media to take. I am inclined to agree with this proposal on two condition. Give us a latest franchise for holo-theaters and a name for our rating system. This way, we can add more lore to the RP such as... Trailer and holo-theater being... "Coming Soon to Coalf Cinema Theatres near you..." along with characters discussing "Hey. I heard the ratings on Ozzy Man Reviews that this M A W was terrible! Should we give it a try to watch it at Coalf Cinema Theatres or just go and watch latest Silverwyn's Ghost at Sid Meier's Futuristic Holo-Theatre?"
6. I've been asked to give my thoughts and so I shall. Don't take this personal. Let's start from the top. I mainly have no problems with this proposal, I like and don't like this at the same time. It's a weird feeling. It is a possible change although it brings me one concerns. Will the Head of Security/Captain make an effort to authorize an arrest on a security member using an illegal equipment such as guns? I'd say no. Some security members treats each other as if they're "brothers in arms" and their words to be more credible than any others. I've seen Head of Security using intruder's illegal weapons against intruders because it either: 1. Saves them money and time from cargo ordering a crate of weapons for security to use. 2. Heat of the moment to save their own precious life or to valid. 3. It's better than what NanoTrasen have and gives us more firepower. Guess what? They're IC reasons and very often excused or overlooked by many head of staffs because it is very convenient when it will eventually go your way. So, you say officers are not special but you argue that they should be held to a higher standards and we should have more expectations for officers? Wouldn't that make officers special since they have more responsibilities while enforcing the corporate regulations and receive higher punishment? If I what I am interpreting is wrong here, please correct me and clarify this for all of us. Seems like a mistake? Perhaps it seems like a mistake or it wasn't a mistake in first place so that Head of Staff may decide how they will proceed with this in mind? Some policies gap are open intentionally for head of staffs or crew member to step in and interpret with how they way the department should run. With these in mind, I'll you ask you intricate questions and I expect straight answers. Why should we put in our efforts to alter this policy and not leave it the same? How do you plan to deal with officers misusing equipment? Theoretically, if this gets implemented... Do you think security behavior will change? If so, how do you think the security's behavior will change? Additional to my question above, do you think security will start enforcing this regulation or still overlook? Your thoughts on this concern, MO_oNyMan? It's a rather an alright change with a minor alterations to how the way security behave. From what I can tell, they'll still behave the same way.
7. -1 OR... You can just... You know, not wear it and leave it in the locker. Like what Senpai Jackboot said, you are not forced into Noir, you have other options to take other than being Noir. I like for these clothing to stay as it helps the new detectives to enter and try on clothes and find their inspiration of what they envision their detective to be other than just Noir. A good example of being a detective would be Leo Wyatt, at first he thought about considering pulling off a Noir gimmick. He gave a good attempt and slowly broke off and made his own new gimmick by using Noir gimmick to find a whole new inspiration. These clothing and misc. items are not for fashion and to be used as loose cannons, they are used as a starting vertex to see where the player can drive their character into an interesting character. If the player decides they want to be full Noir and that's fine, that's the choice they are willingly to make. Of course, each choices we make have consequences/butterfly effect (ex. Until Dawn). Hearsay is not a credible source. Assuming you meant practice. If so, I'll say that it is a healthy practice for the reasons stated above. You make it sound like the detectives are being forced to play a role but they are not. Please do not try to twist words and make it your way, it is not a very healthy practive. Are you a coder? Do you have experience in coding? It still is a choice regardless, no one is being forced to play a Noir detective. I'll say what I think of your OP now, throughout your suggestion. I still see you insisting on that Noir items in lockers restricts people's imagination of wanting to become different than just Noir. I do not see people saying that being a detective limits your imagination, I do not see people becoming one and only detective Noir although I do see people becoming detectives that are not just about Noir. I can say this for a fact that people knows me for making many unimaginable gimmicks as both antagonists and non-antagonists. I've even become a detective based on my inspiration from Persona 4 (Tohru Adachi and Ryutaro Dojima) and Ace Attorney (Gregory Edgeworth and Dick Gumshoe) by being able to use some of these equipments to further my gimmick and imagination with other people. What's my point? My point is, people especially myself have already made enough interesting ways to roleplay their detective. If they're still unable to think of interesting ways to roleplay, they should consider watching some shows, playing games, watching other detectives behave in SS13, or come talk to the community. Unable to do any of those? Come with me and you'll be in a world of pure imagination. You need to simply take a look and you'll see into your imagination.
8. I like your thoughts and quick response. This has my support. +1
9. I like this idea! It shows that a person was recently injured that you can't cover or pretend it doesn't exist. Also, I want to ask a quick question as this comes in conflict with one of our game modes like Cult. If they continue to bandage themselves in the same spot or area. Wouldn't this become too obvious that this person is somehow mysteriously getting hurt? I know it is currently obvious as it stands but this suggestion may make it more obvious? What's your thought on this, Bauser?
10. I want to say that this was a great effort to make a suggestion by far distance and very pleasing to see that you have put in work to do this. Although, they shouldn't be forced to do this, I noticed that you mentioned that this is a fabulous chance for prisoners to have a way to work to get the reduced sentence should the Warden or Head of Security provide one. Now, I'm going to play little of a Devil's Advocate and ask you this, why have you pushed this in the back rather attempt to merge it with the current brig that we have? Consider this, this mapping gives Security Department a benefit of deciding where to place you. Nonetheless, you want to try to work for reduced sentence but you got placed in the general brig and there's nothing to work for it? Oh well. EDIT: This came to my mind just right after I posted it. Won't Security members waste their time doing this than doing their job because it makes money.
11. Am I the inspiration? I will upvote this because I want to see a little more otakus, anime-lovers, nerds, geeks, and etc in this game instead of muh muscles and army. +1
12. Facility: NSS Aurora Reporting Personnel: Vincent LeChiffre Rank of Reporting Personnel: Captain Personnel Involved: Research Mate 2459, Research Director - Victim Christine Clarke, Internal Affairs Agent - Offender Caroline Faust, Scientist - Witness/Victim Natascha Sukhoi - Witness Time of Incident: 2460-05-05 Location of Incident: Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property []Neglect of Duty [X]Harassment []Assault [X]Misconduct []Other: Overview of the Incident: First, there was Christine Clarke's accusation of Natascha Sukhoi not working when he was waiting for the chef to get out of surgery. Research Director ResearchMate 2459 believes Dr. Sukhoi needed the chef's help with preparing something for research. Christine Clarke continued to complain about Dr. Sukhoi 'not working' despite both him working and being allowed a break. This continued until he left for cryostorage. This also happened with other members of my department, such as the deceased scientist, Caroline Faust. While Dr. Faust was dying, the Internal Affairs Agent felt it prudent to both defame the scientist over the radio, threaten her with negligence charges, and continuously make unfounded assertions about the capabilities of ResearchMate department, culminating in a request for an audit of a department whose members have mostly headed to cryostorage because of her influence. Sukhoi left. Faust is dead. Szikki has not caused trouble. The xenobiologist has also left. Research Director feels that Christine Clarke has driven Research and Development scientists out of the department and intro cryogenic storage and thus have made the Research and Development decrease it's productivity. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Did you report it to a Head of Department or IAA? If so, who?: This was brought to my knowledge by Research Director, ResearchMate 2459. 13. I agree with Junko Enoshima and Mukuro Iksuba. It will be terrifying or ear-straining to hear someone playing Lavender's Town of the blue when you didn't expect it. On the other hand, I would also like to see more viable music selections available for most of us to accept. I can give Cantina Band as a good example to add in.
14. Wouldn't it be a possible suggestion for users to be able to set their color preferences?
15. +1 Common frequency has already become part of our culture and commonly used for stupid things. I like the thought of being able to call people across the station to say some words instead of having it lost in the sea of common channel banter. What this suggestion does essentially from another perspective is to take the communication that we all half-ass through and find a new way to communicate. We think, innovate, and then create many style of communication that either benefits or suffers this system of communication. I happen to be a kind of a person who seeks a challenge in a game and vision ways to work with others better. It also gives everyone an OOC sense of critical thinking and be able to apply to real life if that is you have one.
16. Synnono and Jackboot have already expressed my opinions. Although, I am not going to pull up a statement of Internal Security Miranda Rights whether it be from a notepad or wiki and paste this for each time I arrest a person whether it be a small crime or a high crime. You might want to give these two URL a reading, it's very interesting. https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/police-questioning-miranda-warnings-29930.html https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/statements-obtained-police-violate-miranda.html Anyhow, let's be serious and not shift unnecessary IC Policies onto Security Officers. Security Officers are controlled enough as it is. NanoTrasen is not a police department, they're a private corporation and they're not obligated to deliver a Miranda Warning to a person in custody.
17. Before I start asking questions, I'd like to say this. Usually, I respond to CCIAA applications right away but I got held up real life business and found it unusual that other co-workers haven't responded to this. I will say these to you. In despite of this application being inactive however you being active to check around forum and server are highly appraised. This is something that deserves a respect and acknowledgement. Moving on. Please answer the following questions for me. You are being asked because we don't know who you exactly are. Convince us a little more, why should we hire you? Since you are active on forums and gameplay. Being involved in community means that you're also involved as the people of Aurora Station in changing few of the policies for IC-play and understanding from player's experiences. But, you haven't gotten involved in most of them on the forums So, I ask this to you, why do you choose not have your voice in the community? What are your strengths and weaknesses? Are you a team player or a solo player? Please explain one of them in a preferred paragraph how you contribute to CCIAA as a solo or team player.
18. The reporter has requested for this report to be closed. As such, it shall be closed.
19. Didn't we have a thread where it was full of memes?
20. I shall state only stating for what I believe in for everyone's fun and benefits. I support this suggestion for my a very good reason, you're welcome to argue my reason. When I vote secret, I at least want to see some interesting roleplay/gimmick coming from anyone who's willingly to provide without self-antagging. There are have been too many cases when it turns out to be extended and I find myself sitting around entirely bored because no one is attempting to contribute to fun or make a conflict. We've looked at the rules and are trying not to self-antag or create a conflict wherein the antagonist's job is to do so which is the reason why most of us just sit around and do nothing. I wouldn't want to waste two hours on a game where you hop on, do your job, while expecting a small portion of fun to only receive none. The only reason I come to this server is to at least have fun and expect (Yes, I do dare say this) something to go wrong or antagonists to start stirring shit up so that we all may do our part to make the round painful fun. I can see where the administrators are coming from their reasons however I would like to at least ask these questions with honesty and professionalism. Do we know what the majority of users/players/people of the server and community wants? I understand that there is a clear mixed thoughts in the community however can we be sure that this is the right direction Aurora Station community should going to? Could we be reminded once more what is the purpose of secret rotation and why does extended apply to secret rotation? Lastly, do you support anime?
