1. Make it a red jumpsuit with side cape. That'd be lush. As for the act of sacrificing a goat on a pire in the corridors of your work place - maybe stop that.
2. Sounds good to me. Feel free to write as much as you like but understand it might be reduced to not be wall-o-text info. Also try and focus on how all this effects Tau Ceti. Who's the Catholic authority there, what's the history of Catholicism in Biesel etc etc. If anyone is a bad enough dude/dudette to tackle the other religions from a position of knowing them by all means go for it.
3. Burger's a good boy and his contributions are largely great. He's a feisty scamp but I think he can be reasonable when need be. +1
4. Moved to the suggestion forum.
5. Yeah obviously +1 for the reasons previously stated.
6. Heavy Freighting Vessel Almost Collides With The Odin May 23rd, 2460 A Bulk Freighter barely avoids a collision with the NTCC Odin after being forced out a bluespace jump whilst fleeing pirates, three dead. The Bulk Freighter FV Teal belonging to the Hephaestus Industrial Division burst from bluespace and almost collided with the Odin residential block today. The one kilometre vessel was pulled from its chaotic jump by Odin Interdiction Net protection systems, forcing into realspace. Authorities confirm that the ship had been evading a mass interdiction event by pirates operating in the Tau Ceti boundary regions. Having sustained damage during the evasion upon entering realspace at breakneck speed the port side sheared off and began hurtling towards the Odin residential blocks viewing dome as the freighter skimmed across the surface of the commercial block. Visitors and citizens of the Odin watched in horror as NanoTrasen naval units scrambled to destroy the debris before they impacted. Preventing catastrophic damage, naval units were able to shatter the debris causing small but numerous micro impacts on the residential viewing dome. Bulk heads on the dome were able to lock into place before any breaches could occur on the superstructure of the dome but not before cracks formed, terrifying residents on the Odin's streets. The commercial block sustained only superficial damage to its outer plasteel layer. Naval units then headed off in pursuit of the suspected pirate force. The event caused mass panic with large amounts of damage and injury being caused by terrified citizens and visitors as they attempted to flee the residential block. Security on the scene reported no serious injuries but numerous people have been treated for minor to moderate scrapes and bruises. Piracy has seen a stark increase in recent weeks due to the upheaval caused by the Dominian -Hegemony purge causing pirate groups to move further inwards on the Orion Spur. Government officials told the press that they "are aware of the growing threat and are in the process of producing a solution." Critics claim that the threat is "already here" and that Biesel government has been "so slow as to be almost comical" in facing the threat to travel and shipping. Repairs are currently underway on the Odin and the FV Teal has been successfully toed into dock. Three crew members sadly lost their lives when the ship split and five remain in intensive care.
7. Absolutely. Elyra, Dominia, Frontier and Sol are fair game to be honest.
8. Accepted then. Muncorn :3
9. Sounds good to me....though I feel like the names are memes. Accepted.....but if I find out you've memed me.... Muncorn. Do you mind dearest?
10. This has been accepted. Muncorn Would you do the honors my love.
11. Bump for this, give me some feedback nerds.
12. All that'll happen here is that command will be asked constantly who's doing what and new characters will largely be ignored in place of well known characters. It's frustrating in real life having to ask around the office for a critical staff member because the company is garbage with its records let alone a game in which the main focus is communicating with people. At least in an office the workers don't completely change three to four times a day. I'm just not really feeling it to be honest.
13. An OOC note or "if you watch Dominian news you'd recognise this man/woman as an edict breaker" is fine.
14. It depends on the kind of person they were/are and why they chose to run instead of face judgement. They would've likely been abandoned by their friends/family and will probably be going through a crisis of faith - trying to justify to themselves why them running is ok. They'll probably be feeling heart achingly lonely. As they would've been essentially doxxed on national television your character would expect other Dominians to notice them very quickly which might lead to some trust issues around strangers. They might feel a sense of liberation, but it's more likely they'll feel like an absolutely soul crushing failure, at least for a while and depending on how others treat them.
15. Treaty of Unity Signed; Mars To Remain In The Alliance 5.16.2460 Following a series of closed door debates and discussions Mars has agreed to sign the Treaty of Unity 2460 on Unity Station, the Alliance capital. Mars officials have of this morning signed the new Declaration of Alliance with the Sovereign Solarian Nations in the form of the Treaty of Unity. Amongst the signatories were Senator Thorne of Mars and in a surprising twist Senator Watkins of the ATLAS party amongst other senators nicknamed the "anti-Mars" group also added his signature to the document. Negotiations were initially bogged down in the legal complexities of the state of Mars politically following the dissolution of the Treaty of Olympus which placed Mars as an independent state. The option of Mars having special powers in the same vein as the Eridani Corporate Federation was initially championed by Senator Throne but in the end a mutual agreement was ratified in which Mars will join with the Alliance and have full powers and freedoms as per Alliance law. Further to this Admiral Amanda Hayden will be promoted to Grand Admiral and will be tasked with overseeing the production and training of two new Martian Fleets and the construction of the new Sol Alliance Military Station Altis to be located in high orbit over Mars. SAMS Altis will act as the headquarters for the new Anti-Piracy Directive forces serving to keep the mid and outer colonies safe from increasing levels of piracy. "This is a momentous occasion." Prime Minister Chater told the press. "It is with great pleasure I welcome the people of Mars back into the Alliance." The treaty also ensures that Mars has the freedom to dictate its own border policy with new Martian visa systems being set to be put in place over the next few months. The new visa's will allow foreign nationals to enter Mars but any wishing to travel to other regions of the Alliance will require a standard Sol Alliance visa. Naturally this does not apply to the Eridani Corporate Federation which allows free travel. In a speech Senator Thorne said "I think my Martian brethren will agree with me when I say that what we've done here to today has not just ensured a free Mars for decades to come but thrust us back to where we belong in this Alliance. Not some beaten dog to feed on the scraps handed to us from up on high but as free men and women of red soil." Immigrants from Adhomai continue to enter Mars with many moving to Kunlun in the northern regions where additional hab complexes have been constructed to handle the load.
16. I totally agree that an eye bot is generic sci-fi, but this sprite is literally the fallout eye bot. I'd imagine folks will still push back against it on the basis of the current borg sprite over saturation but with a fresh look you'd have more of a level ground to argue from imo.
17. It is too obvious. Fowl already explained that literal references are too much as well as the fact that references existing doesn't presuppose all references are fair game. If you want an eye bot don't make it an exact replica of the eye bot from Fallout. Spruce it up. Of the references given, one is vague enough (not literally Mustangs gloves from FMA) and the other two are basic sci-fi fare.
18. This is largely a none issue but it's always bothered me that there are no "engines" on the shuttles. Sure we've got big ol' thrusters or whatever but I'd love to see some fluff engine room for funsies. Just a preference really, not a big deal or even needed.
19. Sounds fine to me to be honest. I'd like detective and CSI to be merged into a different more relevant role but that's a suggestion for another thread.
20. You're opening up a massive can of worms off the back of what appears to be a non issue. The only thing that needs to be clarified is the law around it which we can do and it'd be good to put some info on the wiki regarding other nations thoughts on this.
21. It's not something to ignore, they're a different people who are ok with borgification like some countries are ok with cutting off heads in real life right now.
22. In the "private enterprise is king" sense. Why do you think it doesn't fit?
23. That's a good point though. That'll need looking at. Senpai Jackboot
