Experience

How long have you played SS13?: 9 years probably
How long have you played on Aurora: 2015
How much do you know about SS13 (Baystation build) game mechanics?: I'd like to think I have a general idea about all of the mechanics
Do you have any experience moderating for an SS13 server?: No
Have you read through the criteria thread; https://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=4198 - and believe that you mark off all the criteria?: Yes
Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?: No

Personality

Why do you play SS13?: It's one of those sandbox games where you can create and play out stories with other people, and Aurora's lore and roleplay got me hooked since I came here.

Why do you play on Aurora?: At this point I honestly have little tangible experience that I remember from other servers, apart from the fact that none of them came even close to the level of roleplay that we have here, the lore and the people that I've met and made friends with.

What do moderators do?: Moderators make sure players follow the rules, both on the server and throughout the discords, maintaining the OOC environment that has made the server what it is today. They also help people, assisting with all sorts of issues a new player might come across and would like to inquire about.

What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?: It means that you share and understand the concept of what Aurora is trying to be, the environment it wishes to promote and the rules that you are called to enforce.

Why do you want to be a moderator?: I would like to offer my time towards the betterment of the server that I really like, this time from an OOC position.

What qualities do you possess that would make you a good moderator?: I can adapt to new situations, know when to call for help if I need it, and I think I'm generally fair.

How well do you handle stress, anger, or insults?: I'm generally level-headed, and if not I know when to take a step back. Being staff for some years now has taught me how to respond appropriately, so I do not believe it will be a problem. The fact that I'm not entangled in a lot of drama after all this time is, I think, a good indicator.

Anything Else You Want to Add:
I was ccia and I very recently quit. I think I reached the ceiling of what I could do there, and it was getting a bit stale, so I'm applying for moderator instead.

Lancer is an incredibly well-rounded, level headed and kind person that I would consider no one else more suitable than in the position of moderator. I am certain that his background as CCIA lead, both managing a team and dishing out character reprimands, and the moderator duties expected of him as the synthetic lore maintainer will easily transfer to being a server mod. +1

There's not much that I can say without parroting what Nienna already mentioned, but I can say for certain that Lancer's example should be the precedent for which we base our standards for staff and I would not be coming up on 2 years of being CCIA without his instruction and friendship. His experience and affinity for tact puts him well within the requirements of being a server mod.

+1.
