This suggestion exists to provide non-whitelisted crew the chance to get fun sec dog. Antags get assault rifles. Dog is hardly a power imbalance.

First Remove independent slots for Detective, and Forensic Technician. Put them into a single slot, 'Specialist Officer' , alt titles being 'Investigator, Crime Scene Investigator, K-9 Handler' Then Remove current Forensics Lab, Detective's Office. Replace Detective's Office with fluffy sitting area for crew. Finally Revamp old forensics lab into a multi-faceted area. Turn half of the evidence room into a K-9 Kennel for TWO security doggos. Keep a small portion of the new specialist's quarters as a forensics area, glassed off with white flooring, ensure there is a desk and regular office space for meeting with crew as investigator, put dog-related supplies in kennel area. Second Finally Create better dog mechanics, add dog food and 'searching' commands so dog can sniff out drugs and explosives.

HoP is HR and should have access to every department hallway, Janitor has basic access, so should his supervisor. Head of Security has access so he can let officers in to search when other heads arent around and such. Other heads should get basic access to other departments as well.

I believe had a very poor interaction with Ellie, and a lot of Cargo Staff last night as the Head of Personnel. At first, I thought Ellie may have been a good voice of reason, as she told me the other Cargo staff were being dumb... Then she stole an industrial mining rig and hopped into space, after messing up the Mining Outpost with a fellow Cargo Tech. I don't believe she was antag (please correct me if you were) , and I want you to understand that kind of conduct as a non-antag is a very slippery slope, and exactly the stuff you'll be squashing as a Head of Staff If you were not the Cargo Tech Ellie last night, I apologize and I'll delete this ;P

The biography is meant to be a history of the character, and what has brought them to this point in their life, and your application comes across as somewhat obnoxious (see: believe with my experience I deserve a spot on the command chain) and 90% of Command, is stowing the dick you're given to wield when whitelisted, and being humble about using it. I'm not going to say you don't deserve a whitelist, I frankly haven't seen you in game or OOC to judge your conduct enough to -1 or +1, so I hope to see you more on-server before I give you my support or against. Canonically, him being a Head of Security has been completed retconned due to the whitelist strip, as has happened to most of my characters except a select few. So he has never been a head of security canon-wise anymore. The position of Head of Security is a lot different from the Warden, the Warden is not allowed to respond to calls, period, ever, unless it's a serious emergency and security are fighting a very heavy battle, and even then they are meant to stay and guard the brig. This isn't something Klaus likes, he likes having the ability to still contribute, I'll admit most of his dislike of the Warden roles comes from my own dislike of the Warden role, because most of it for me is sitting at the desk watching cameras, as a Head of Security however, it's possible to create training drills, make initiatives for the round and things like that, I don't intend to respond to 'every' call as the Head of Security, but it's good to respond to them when you're available to see how your officers handle themselves. Ive seen Sean in action a few times, both as fellow security, and civilian crew watching Security from the shadows. I thought I had already posted this here but apparently not. I want to -1 this really badly because we lose good Officers to the HoS and Captain roles ;-; but Zelmana is incredibly competent as a player and their character reflects this.

I agree. I know people want their characters to progress, but make it believable. I'm sorry but, "this doctor showed me how to do this super advanced brain surgery' is not a good enough reason for a paramedic to do brain surgery.

Not reading all of this really - but I have an AI fully designed to be a security apparatus, the AI was put in as a balance on the crew's side to help stop antags, if the antag thinks the AI is a serious threat to it's plans, kill it or subvert it (both are startlingly easy) . Most of the time if I find someone breaking a regulation, or committing a serious crime - I report it as an AI, it makes sense for me to do this. I give antags plenty of chances, but if they are sloppy and set off alarms and commit murder in PUBLIC areas with cameras, you deserve to be reported and locked down. Sorry not sorry. There are lots of times that I can't even locate simple vandals or minor assault criminals - if they can escape my wrath while I'm AI, a fully fledged, armed and equipped antag should be able to, or they should be able to deal with the consequences of not being able too.

If you cut a camera properly, it will not set off an alarm, there is an alarm wire you must cut first.

After witnessing you as Pierre Leonce, be Interim HoS, I think I'll +1 your application. Your character seems realistic and decent to interact with, and I think if he's moved into a Head of Security position he would develop his commanding skills well.

I am back but in line with my appeal I am removing myself from any out of game meta like city council so that's not gonna be revived by me anytime soon, probably should be deleted unless lore wants to play with it.

Against Skull's opinion, Id say before rewriting an entire species with many players, consultation should happen. It was done with skrell, PMs were sent out and things ended nicely.

I don't really like the idea of force conversions. If they dont want to convert, kill them. They have no obligation to play as an antag if they do not wish too, and if they get stuck in a do-or-die like conversion and refuse to cooperate, end them. For example, I have a Skrellian who is able to resist conversion out of sheer mental will and disbelief in 'dark gods', she's been alive for hundreds of years and shes a tough nut to crack. A rework in general would be nice though.
