  1. It's a fitting name, as I've never seen it handed out for the lack of anyone robust in Security these days.
  2. I've always wondered why these drones were never used as a tool for malfs back in the day. It'd also be interesting to see their event as a telecrystal buy-in added to uplinks. As for non-antagonistic uses, the inherent argument is that they're likely designed for ship-to-ship combat and not for intravehicular activity. They also don't exactly have the mob AI to be useful at something like harassing the nuke op or raider shuttles, which would be their ideal IC purpose.
  3. So.. Sopo turns from slow-acting sleeping into an equally slow-acting parapen-type chemical? Eh, why not I guess. I expect a lot of terrible torture RP from this.
  4. Virology/viruses have been so consistently shit over the years that it was the only medical mechanic I learned to powergame and treat within under a minute without needing to touch it's associated mechanics. Into the trash with it, I've never seen good RP from sitting in the virologist's equivalent of the permabrig for half an hour. If anyone tries to claim it should be kept as a form of research, I implore you that a station needn't specialize in every form of science known to man.
  5. Should choking them actually do anything when their breathing tank is internal? If you're at the point you'd cut blood to the brain through the exoskeleton, then you're physically strong enough to decapitate them barehanded. Just make them unchokeable entirely, since the rare occasion of one being without said breathing tank would require cloning one, genetically uplifting a v'krexi or something similarly implausible.
  6. I'd see no issue with a roundstart powerloader. The thing is fucking worthless in a fight, and can't really be weaponized outside of traitors and revs - whom in that case, now have an easier variety option. It doesn't present any power creep because the trolley is objectively better for ferrying crates, and mining has been power creeped so hard with KAs that there's no reason to ever bother with mechs.
  7. Blue with highlights would solve my concern with the gross pastels of the Security, Botany and Engineering suits.
  8. This is an old-ass thread. As it were, I'd argue fire and similar should be what causes them pain. Fire as a whole should be their hard counter, with a greater resilience to physical damage. Alternatively, just remove them and realize Vampires are better changelings all-around.
  9. I like the current stool, and the 'new' of the rest. Stool just seems like changing the brand you bought stools from so it's wholly subjective in the end.
  10. Can we stop using "It's old" as an argument? As for ever replacing them, consider that floor tiles are the baseline. Everything should be designed around them, and all other sprites are shaded to be against them. Floor tiles are, dumb as it may sound, the dictators of art style. They're flat because of perspective, they're 'dull' and monotone for readability.
  11. If anything it should be a half hour. Let there be some proper fucking consequence, especially as rounds aren't thirty to fourty minutes long here.
  12. Is this not something to be decided on a per-character basis ICly, rather than mechanically locked out, in that case?
  13. Can we get side-by-side comparison screenshots? Your PR description states a fairly mixed array of sources.
  14. Isn't it already incredible suffering for medical to treat them? I'm not sure how to feel about making it harder to keep them alive. Alternate suggestion: CPR works, both parties get minor toxin damage from each attempt.
  15. An implementation that's entirely avoidable by the IPC player? I like this. Very roundabout way of requiring some amount of consent.
  16. Chewing Gum Response Team is the vibes I get from those weirdly washed out pastels.
  17. And if it doesn't, it isn't a windoor issue, it's a mapping issue with the access set on said windoor.
  18. It should function per how GreenBoi said unless something is bugged.
  19. Lower left is the best of the 3. Top left is generic, top right makes no fucking sense camo-wise. I dig the shirt and pants a lot on the lower right though, so I'll miss that one.
  20. I dare say there's too much colour.
  21. There's an argument to be made that changeling and vampire are at their most thematic in a head role. But thematics can't separate that both are rather unenjoyable to deal with in said head roles.
  22. I'd say it'd be a perfectly fine thing to add to load-outs, especially as a previous comment gave an example of someone bringing them to work.
  23. It's been a weird bug with items as a whole for a while. I've been hoping it would have been fixed.
  24. Having played Technomancer and fought it, it's a fairly enjoyable take on wizardry. I'd like to see it ported though I imagine due to some mechanics involved it'd be a challenge.
  25. No reason not to, the reagents already exist so it's significantly less work than most food/drink-related ideas. +1
