There are people who still try to be spiteful no matter how strong or weak the influence/laws on them are.
-
Alternatively just make a small map via dream maker and host it on your computer for smaller RP sessions. It's more effort, but effort tends to pay off. I've halfway done a few tiny 'fluff' maps this way.

Most people forget they exist. I believe they require a wire under them or something, but I can't sure if they're working or bugged because as I mentioned, noone remembers they exist nor do they ever get used.

As much as I enjoy long rounds, I still fail to see how two hours isn't enough time to do something. If you haven't done something interesting by 2, you're not going have it done by 3 hours anyways. If people want a new round so they get a chance to hop into something fresh, that's their choice, if they want the round to last 7 hours, that's their choice. 2/3 majority sounds nice on paper but in the slower hours it would just kill rounds even moreso by the next vote. On the other hand, 51% is preferable where if it ties it will always default to staying, so a minimum vote from the majority is still required to pass.

It would be end up shit anyways considering how bad DayZ is.

This should honestly be how the Vampire thrall system works, IMO. More subtle influences less "YOU MY BITCH, GO LIGHT UP SECURITY IF THEY COME FOR ME".

Contrary to everything you've been trying to do with this suggestion and the other more ERT-based one, ERT does not need buffs in any way shape or form. ERT should not be lent Deathsquad-esque silence. ERT should be whitelisted before anyone even considers giving them more advantages. As for the rest of the suggestion, I would be fine with the Raiders losing their immediate access to it due to the fact they're just plain old pirates. Nukies, on the other hand, are prepared paramilitaries with resources from outside benefactors. Nukies having the comms bugged already and being able to tap into them at the start makes sense considering their rather high-tech nature and aforementioned benefactors, in comparison to the lowlier pirates, who should be more reliant on their vessel and stealthy nature for eavesdropping purposes.

That's your choice, and you can certainly ghost immediately if someone enslavement implants you, but the fact that those other things exist already gives us precedent for something like this to be in the game. No, I'd get boinked for doing that. The only reason it works as a cult construct is because you succumb and ghost ASAP /before/ they can crystal you. I don't want to be forced into some obligation to be some antag's bitch for 30+ minutes. These things all mentioned tend to be a heavy point of grudge-inducing discontentment, and a flaw in the antag systems. I've noticed in particular the 'Vamp Thrall' feature being abused heavily between two metafriends to essentially work together every time and double up in power. With cult constructs it just takes you out of the round permanently, Thralls being permanent as well. The way Goon and such handle it is that those little implants have a timer on them, 30 minutes or so, as well as a twice-as-expensive option for permanence that only works better there because the server is far more fast-paced and competitive in nature. But that wouldn't work here due to the lengthy rounds and fact people come here to RP their own little specific roles and characters, and being forced into a role they may dislike is a negative experience for the player, worse than dying IMO. I would argue it deprives them of the RP that comes with an antagonist who could otherwise attempt to coerce a character into doing something naturally, by forcing it with a no-effort implant, whilst also being reminiscent of the abuse-laden territory that you get with antag-given AI Laws and the following thereof.

Any ERT worth his weight brings an SMG. Otherwise yes, fighting ERT isn't that bad. But a smart antagonist will generally follow the rule of "Don't fight unless you're cornered".

I would get mad if my internet went out for 10-20 minutes and when I came back some automated bot shoved me into cryo. Part of the game is that people will log out, sometimes they may or may not come back, but they should always be given time. If anything there should be a clientside toggle for if you want to be picked up by one of these things, or the timer should be a minimum 40-60 minutes before the letting-antags-into-secure-areas bot goes after the person.

Have wallets been brought back yet?

Remember when aliens couldn't wear most space suits? I do. Not everything should be made equal mechanically.
-
As someone who ghosts before people get the chance to turn me into a cult construct, and has a severe hatred of becoming a vampire thrall, being forced into an antag role will only lead to salt and a whole bundle of mess for a lot of folks in general. If I wanted to be an antag, I would've readied up for the role. Plain and simple.

As long as that fucking horrible stunlock-and-kill-you synergy with telekinesis is removed. Being in any kind of armour should also protect against the effects. (Hardsuits, Riot Armour, even just normal space suits, etc)
-
Excuse me but the Captain's space suit is amazing, purely because it doesn't get damaged like the other suits in combat. That's an oversight. In addition, hardsuits do not puncture, tear or breach. Only voidsuits sustain damage like that. The only saving grace of that outdated garbage are its incredibly over-the-top armor stats. What you call outdated garbage, I call my favourite suit. Speed ain't everything when your suit doesn't get damaged (Yes, hardsuits get damaged believe it or not as their components break down), you're tanky, and you get your own personal laser.

You should make a point of telling them to wear the breacher so they stop being a selfish shit. TBH I miss the days when there weren't suit cyclers that nullified the big weakness of playing an alien, you had to use special suits because the human ones didn't fit.

Solar arrays can last the station forever if you know how to properly rewire them as an Engineer. Fixing the Engine was... Less of an issue when it just used the radiation collectors but I imagine you can still use the radiation collectors for the SM. Alternatively, set up a singularity. Alternatively just use the solars it's as easy as moving a few wires. Fixing Engineering is a 15-20 minute job for 2 engineers, 30 minutes for 1. Should I go write a guide on how to run the station entirely off solars since it seems to be a difficult concept for people to figure out?
-
Just bring back the old ghetto counters in Flashes and T-ray scanners.
-
I would hope the Tesla and Supermatter have a fun effect should they collide, as I know the SM and Singularity do something /very/ fun when they meet.
-
The Detective and HoS got their thermals removed many years ago. I'd like to know which game you've been playing where acquiring thermals is easy for a non-antag.
-
I like the SM on the basis of it's not a round-ender despite everyone apparently thinking it is, even though the damage it causes is absolutely minimal in comparison to a loose singularity. Blows engineering, mildly irradiates everyone with hallucinations, but otherwise if solars are properly set then it's an easy fix. SM is a very safe, viable choice for a hard-to-grief-the-server-with engine, even if it is somewhat annoying to learn.

Remember to knock out every monkey you give to slimes. Punch them out before the slime is on them, and after, for good measure. This method has never failed me in keeping slimes as friendly to me.

I see exactly why you want this now.

Show both name and ckey, force it. Both parties are satisfied and confusion is nonexistant. If you're using LOOC in the first place, you do not need privacy, it is an OOC channel, your OOC name (ckey) should be used there. And with deadchat, showing both is still wonderful. Anyone who has something to hide is up to no good, I say.
