  1. As I echoed in the discord thread. I 100% appreciate the time and effort put into this, however, the original NBT sprites (save for the PMCG sprites) were much better. The more vibrant originals were on a whole more appeasing to the eye. The black boot was fine as it was. I'm not sure I'd call boots fetish material.if it's difficult to maintain the alternates that's one thing but let's leave it at that. My personal preference would be to see the old sprites restored.

  4. You know, I have, for ages now called Danse out on being a scalie. And this is okay, because scalies are really just furries. Like everyone who posted above here. That is why, after looking through this questionable story, after much debate, I will tentatively give this a +1. However, that said, I do have a few questions. 1) How will opening up about your furry status impact your long standing with the scalie community? 2) Do you intend to die your first character's hair the same neon green as your new (And wonderful) pfp?
  5. Having watched this since ethe beginning, I'm glad you FINALLY decided to apply for it. The idea is fun and harmless, but more importantly it helps bring a bit more of your char into the game! +1

  7. What job is he trying to go for in Tau Ceti. What are his religious views?
  8. Raskariim characters can be quite challenging to pull off. While they subvert the norm It's often difficult to find the right balance of social divergence and the whitelist expectations. Does your character struggle having been brought up in the church and likely half bran washed by the Parivara's ideas. It seems there was a quick drop on the pill of medication to forget the origins. Was there a transition time for your char to accept the raskariim plot? Did they have no parental figures or sources of influence in the church? --- Homosexuality is a controversial topic in Tajara lore. Are you prepared for the chastising and social isolation that may occur if you are discovered? This is a hard reality of the state of Adhomai and Tajaran culture. Something that can be hard to handle both icly and oocly. If they were noted by the church for being "too close" have they been suspected before and forced to see Tajaran medical practitioners? --- My biggest concern personally is the complete lack of mentioning place origin, faction, and political beliefs. If they did have a side they believed in, did their lack of being able to participate bother them? --- How did your character leave Adhomai? If their partner was discovered by authorities, how were they able to take the full blame of the law and exonerate Mor? How did Mor pay for his partner's exit from Adhomai? What position did they take with I assume NanoTrasen?
  9. If you think you can handle all the roles then there really isn't anything more to say. Your work is self-evident as is your continued dedication to the community. +1 (so long as you don't retire from Taj maintainer as you stated!)
I enjoyed the event. Staff involved were enjoyable, and it was fun to watch the work put into this. Event chars were nice to interact with as well. Fantastic hook for transitioning chars into the nbt! Lines were rough but player turnout shouldn't be a bad thing. Thanks for hosting and everyone involved in the planning!
  10. Reported, blocked.
  11. Keep in mind faxing is often something done by those in round, and otherwise on the fly, so some faxes may not get as much attention as others. Often time misconceptions are very easy to make when interpreting faxes. If this is the exact wording of their fax, you were never forbidden from touching it. Merely keeping them in ideal condition. This is a fair expectation so I cannot fault Ramke's fax here. However, the takeaway here is further in-depth explanation is important and can drastically keep misconceptions from occurring.
  12. Good feed back on the panic part, thank you. It is still a very new character so I'm still figuring him out a bit! Additionally I will say that captain is an intensive roll with literally everyone talking to you. Perhaps I could have vocalized a bit more to call off the attempt as suggested (though I thought I had already made myself clear which I'll elaborate on in a sec). My captain's excluding the interim from the preparation from the assault was intentional as he wanted the interim to give it a go though excluding the RD from the start of the assault was not, that was oocly unintentional, my plate was simply full and it was overlooked. It's been a few days since the round so the sequence if events in escalation and build up that followed from BUDDY taking action is but I did think I made myself very clear on the command channel that there were only two routes we could let BUDDY go versus the alternatives that were being suggested which was fix the AI or card them. Not study them or attempt to place them in a body as your interim suggested. To touch on two more points. When the AI began attempting to sabotage the core, my character could no longer in good consciousness let it remain and peace was no longer an option. It was a danger and had already made it clear it was willing to act on this. Your director was only ordered to be handled by my captain after he was informed you left your command level ID. I assume the HoS was pressing negligence. They could likely have been pressing slander as well, I'm not sure, but my interaction with it ended there.
  13. My captain's thought process about why he abandoned having the Interim try to fix the AI as well as ordering the head of security to "handle" the interim were as follows: The interim director was actively undermining my discussion with the AI to see it peacefully relawed or transferred to an AI card. The interim had also made offhanded comments about studying the AI or transferring it to a body which made it paranoid. After being ordered to stop, they became confrontational in the command channel. The interim threw their command level ID in the hall for anyone to pickup which an assistant found and returned to me.. Per regulations I was well within my right as captain to have the interim arrested. Was this an IC ego pissing match? Absolutely. But Vidas is the Captain. He has that right.. The Robotics team showed a fundamental lack of knowledge in remotely re-lawing the AI remotely when asked if they could day anything about it. My character is not a science background and would not know the possibilities thus leaving me no alternative but to forcefully have the AI core entered due to the danger the AI possessed and It's escalation during the round. The majority of my discussion with the AI was on the command channel. A lot of interaction was given. It's easy to see why you did not see this. And I remember seeing @NerdyVampire say they enjoyed the round. If you have any other questions feel free to let me know.
  14. Bro you're bug whitelisted? Kinda cringe

  16. Fantastic arc that engaged all who tried to participate. Lots of mysteries and clues sprinkled in for all to find and give those who looked for it an in to join the overgoing investigation arc. Thank you for running it.
  17. Mak has currently found mixed feelings towards the refugees fleeing the Jargon Federation. On one hand a natural gratitude from being rescued from isolation remains but at the same time it's hesitant to truly sympathize with their cause considering the state of Queen C'thur and the Federation's role in keeping her alive. While it is punished and displaced across the galaxy, giving too much to these refugees seems counter-intuitive to the needs of the greater hive in the end so it ends up being quite the opposite for Mak. Currently they are a means to an end in escaping the hell-scape of the Qii'miq sector. Mak has not yet been able to fully forgive being abandoned, not yet, and remains rather bitter towards the whole situation as that's something I'd rather leave for the character to develop into. And as such it has given Mak an incredible inferiority complex towards other C'thur. An insatiable want for recognition and validation remains when dealing with other C'thur. As for other aliens? Mak is still developing it's opinion on the new and rather /alien/ aliens since arriving to Tau Ceti. An inherent dislike to Tajara has formed in relation to the events on Tau Ceti and gang violence depending on where one goes in Mendell. As for humans? Mak has found a rather bizarre mix on them, from some dealing from downright hostility and prejudice from some to a more Bieselite tolerance of it's presence. While it finds them rather repulsive in appearance, it also understands that there would be much to benefit from in gaining their recognition and acceptance especially as a human corporation currently holds the means to survival through employment. A mixed bag in the end and the jury is out.
  18. Yonni does the rp good. +1 What will your char's take be in sharing space with and handling the rather loud and obnoxious guwans lurking on the station?
  19. BYOND Key: abigbear Character Names: Rajjurl Al-Thaalzir, ISU-Zascita, Kalil Al-Lawishurai, Mikolaj Talmarfaiiq, Azzam, and many more. Species you are applying to play: Vaurca What color do you plan on making your first alien character: Dark Purple Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes Why do you wish to play this specific race: I have found inspiration in the new lore to make a character with this race that I've enjoyed watching the developments in. A lot of the new additions, edits, and events related to the Vaurca have really turned me around to the race. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Augmentation as a minimum for adaptation, genetic manipulation, vestigial arms, (soulless) multiple eyes, a carapace body, and more offer a wide variation of anatomical differences alone. However, as it goes, this is merely the cover of the book in the differentiations between Vaurca and Humans. With interconnection between their hives? Veneration of queens, indoctrination of duty to the hive, along with different views on death, the afterlife shape their approach to the world. Expression and speech through pheromones and vibrations, is yet another reason and I could continue to go on but you've likely gotten the point. Character Name: Ka'Akaix'Mak C'thur Please provide a short backstory for this character: Born of Vytel’hyr’tkud's brood, Mak was one of the many Vaurca placed in cryostasis selected to attend his queen Vytel, who was named a champion by some of Sedantis. Born to work in and maintain the many augments and biotechnologies her warriors fielded, Mak found itself useful in fulfilling it's purpose and did so cheerfully and with pride as many of her brood did. It's aspirations were high, as it entered cryostasis for the future. The reality of the situation the Vaurca had found themselves in, however, was quite jarring when Mak was awoken in the Jargon Federation. The reality of the Lii'dra's continued existence, the High Queen's new and very mortal injury, and the new servitude to the Jargon Federation being a lot for it to take in. Not all was lost however, and the charismatic approach of Vytel's brood served Mak well here in aspiration for the future. It seemed things were finally turning around when Mak's Ta was chosen to embark on a colonization attempt with the aid of the Skrell to the unknown and yet ill fated region of Qii’miiq. And so Mak found itself stranded with those that remained after the emergency landing on a barren world of sand and turmoil where it would remain for some time. As the food shortages worsened and the isolation grew long, the optimistic hope of rescue faded. Their queen had abandoned then. And so Mak became one of the klat’xatl, as It's charisma faded and bitter pessimism seeped to the core making it prone to outburst and seething hatred. The Spur, it would seem, was not done with Mak yet as a fateful group of Skrellian refugees found its way through Qii'miq region, ending their isolation. Joining with them, Mak's cell re-entered known space and found much had changed over the years as they arrived to Biesel in 2463 with the other Jargon Federation rebels. Finding itself displaced, abandoned by Vytel, and bitter toward the rest of the C'thur hive, it began to wonder if the Pilot Dream held more credit then it first had believed. But if this was a simulation, it was a cruel one, and So Mak determined itself to find a new path serving the NanoTrasen corporation as a lab assistant in order to sustain itself along with the others who followed... What do you like about this character? With the recent addition to the Lost of the Traverse, I found inspiration for a unique take on vaurca who typically glorify their queen and vie for status amongst each other on being the best of their assigned role. Bitter, torn, and disillusioned, Mak must find its place in this new alien environment having finally escaped isolation and learn to thrive offering for a variety of chances for engaging roleplay. How would you rate your role-playing ability? Seven out of ten.. Notes: Bug. Probably typos. Sorry, words hard
  20. Fare thee well!
  21. I'd like to see another corporation in supply as echoed earlier
