This event was extremely close to being 'special people only, nobody else allowed.' It was basically the same cast of people running around and doing things, and nobody else was involved. I see nothing wrong with making something actually happen to spice the event up, considering that nobody else aboard had been affected, and were simply sitting around while some people did fuck-all somewhere else, without involving a significant number of people. I also have to point out that nobody was the event coordinator - Xander was, for all intents and purposes, running the event as his DO, because nobody had ever given instructions on how it was going to be run. I said this on Discord, and I'll say it here. Unexpected things happen. Declaring something non-canon and getting into a fit over it because something didn't go as planned, or didn't go the way you like, is ridiculous, especially if you're the one who isn't running the event. Hell, a little over a month ago, Delta had the same thing happen to him (and he was actually running the event, by the way) and was basically told that shit happens, and that sucks, but you have to deal with it. And that was canon, AFAIK. Also, how are people supposed to call a vote to make shit violent? Beg the admins over OOC to do it? People are here to enjoy themselves, and asking them to put your enjoyment ahead of theirs for the purposes of this event and everything going smoothly is, frankly, dumb. Ninja'd by four people, but the 'opportunities to interact' didn't exist, as Security was kicking people out of the places where the ambassadors were.

None of the ambassadors died, for the record. They were all wounded in some capacity.

Absolutely love ECOM and Katana Alpha. ECOM is great at keeping Security informed of problems, even if those problems quickly pile up. ECOM was also clutch in helping Price escape the cult once, so that was fun too.

Reason for complaint: Powergaming/Atmos Grief/Chucklefuckery Approximate Date/Time: 27MAR, 1930 CDST Delta was a Juggernaut in a cult round that had escalated to full blown riot after they tried to kidnap the HoS (me), and I escaped after they killed or converted basically all of Security. After escaping and getting to Medical, then sneaking onto the Bridge, I meet the HoP, who has the Bridge locked down, and says there's a hostile organic (Delta) in the Captain's office. I send an emergency message to Central Command, and as we are about to leave, Delta bursts open the wall to space that he had made from the Captain's Office, which proceeds to cause the death of myself, the HoP, the CMO, and a Psychologist. Please note that Delta was a JUGGERNAUT, which can absorb ridiculous amounts of damage, and instead of coming at the four of us with that knowledge, decided to tear down a wall in a fit of powergaming/idiocy/gank of the CMO and Psych, despite the options otherwise. After we're all dead, I also witness Delta killing a cultist, and acting like a greytide in the cult chat. Honestly, the entire round had been going great until it was cut short when Delta just chucklefucked the Bridge, forcing the AI to call a shuttle.

Yeah, make them drop stealth when shooting. There's no way any technology could keep up with keeping someone cloaked while shooting, and it's a major balance issue. Fighting invisible antags that have lethal weaponry is damn near impossible.

Would any scientist work at NanoTrasen knowing they'd have to get a chip in their brain to advance? Hell no. I honestly think loyalty implants should be removed, full stop. All they do is stifle roleplay, or invent convenient excuses for the HoS/Captain to do stupid shit in the name of 'I thought it was in the interest of NanoTrasen.'

Can we have department guards for Security? It's literally one of the greatest things, because it keeps Security easily organized as to where they should be, and makes sure that Security doesn't have half the place uncovered so when someone screams they're being shot by , it doesn't take Security two minutes to run there.
