  1. Honestly, I totally get where this comes from. As someone who in the past used to hang out on lowpop hours, it can be frustating when a majority vote overtakes the vote of the few who are actually participating in what appears to be a small-group RP quality time. HOWEVER, I disagree with an enforced implementation of a system that would not only rob people from the opportunity to weight in on matters lets say, wanting to join a NEW round. As previous comments above me already pointed out, it could lead into lowpop rounds hogging up the bridge hours between low-to-mid/highpop because a select few can easily decide "Hey, this is really fun. How about we add ANOTHER hour to the numbers?" I assume that this PR was made as a result of people's observer or lobby votes overtaking the wishes of players who were partaking in a round, but again. I see too many negatives outweighting the good. As for the PR proposed by Geeves. Absolutely NO. Carver pointed out the biggest concern in which players who die as a result of (unfortunate) events of a round being robbed of an opportunity to weight in could possibly demoralize people from even bothering. You could argue that ghosts need to "deal with it" since their participation has been forfeited along with their death, but at the same time, one could argue the same in regards to losing against the observer/lobby people, as the status quo has always been. The current population flow, as already pointed out, is a result of exam months/people likely dealing with deadlines and work schedules. As soon as late spring/early summer commences, we will likely see an influx of players returning and this entire system would be rendered moot. TL;DR I find this thread, despite understanding the concerns, totally worthless on the long run.
  2. BYOND Key: Rickymadenson Game ID: cbF-ab6K Player Byond Key/Character name: Icedcabbage/Anderson Bhander Staff involved: No Reason for complaint: The reason why I'm making this complaint is because I'm tired off this sort of gimmick style, and unfortunately, icedcabbage is my pick for this complaint, since they're among what I consider the worst offenders for this. Anderson Bhander was a miner (later turned out to be a ling) who reported they were losing oxygen and required rescue. Security, early on, noticed the man hanging out outside toxins without a suit, but initially assumed it was a glitch/accident with his suit, and left the matter to responders. Anderson Bhander would proceed to issue a threat over the radio, warning the vaurcae who attempted to rescue him to stand back (which they presumably did not), allowing Bhander to break through and eventually kill them. This prompted an hour long manhunt for an antagonist who as for as they eye could tell from afar, simply hid away from security and issued several verbal taunts and threats to toy around with the crew (especially security for that matter I should add for the failure to stop him). At the end of the round, Bhander decided to hitch a ride with the shuttle (by latching onto it outside, which I thought was pretty cool, albeit kind of silly form a narrative perspective given ODIN's security). My main issue is was lack of a driven narrative that antagonists are typically supposed to provide. I understand that not everyone gets to partake in it, and sometimes this narrative takes place between a small set of people who encounter the antag, but this time I hardly believe there was much of a huge plan aside from a kill confirm and "hide to see how long it takes to get caught" playstyle. I will say that while trying to acquire logs of the rounds, icedcabbage offered the time to discuss the matter through DMs to lay down his perspective (which I dearly appreciated), though his explanation on the matter left me with little to work with. It's come to my intention that this playstyle is NOT new to him, and while he explained that it sort of was a spontanuous incident of getting lost in space for a moment, hampering his opportunity to engage with the station, it doesn't change the fact that even during his time on-station, he still opted for this playstyle after he had his kills. I'll leave our DMs here, as icedcabbage themselves gave approval to me for sharing them as well as his reasoning for allowing it. Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? No, because I believe this to be a problem on a wider issue rather than a single incident, and an ahelp would not help staff with conducting an investigation on that scale. Approximate Date/Time: 21-4-2021 3-4 AM UTC + 1
  3. Hi there, I saw this post hanging for a bit so I decided to add my weight into it. I've only interacted a few times with Aleksander, and as a character, I've just come to know him as the Zavod officer who speaks in broken Basic, I didn't really get much out of his character aside from that, which I wouldn't really call a positive thing for that matter. When lookign at your answers, it seems to me like you DO have a good idea what it means to assume a command role. You understand the OOC implications, how much effect they can have on the flow of a round, as well as the responsibilities that come along with it both ICly and OOC. It leaves me kidn of mixed, because on one hand I have this "meh" impression of your security officer (which btw I'll add some more on in a bit), but you show the OOC competence I like to see in heads of staff. You state that Aleksander was forced to leave Zavodskoi (I recall seeing him as a contractor on station as well) because he was being accused/suspected of something? If it was that gross to force him out of his contractual obligations, then why would 1. NT be willing to not only HIRE him, but 2. also hand him the rank of Head of Security? Why exactly does he take service with Nanotrasen as a "Zavodskoi corporate collaborator", what exactly does that entail if he's no longer working for Zavodskoi? I'm not sure if you are aware, but at the moment both Nanotrasen and Zavodskoi operate under the same brand of the SCC (Stellar Corporate Conglomerate), therefor making them closer partners than ever before. If Zavod has reasons to suspect him of a crime/severe misdemeanor, then it seems a bit weird that Nanotrasen would be open to accept him in their security force (and also promote him for that matter). It may have been allegated, sure, but would Nanotrasen take that risk? It might seem like I'm cracking hard right now, but I'm just curious how this character will play out on-station if they were to become a head. At the very least I'd still give a +1 if you were offered a trialship, but use a different character for that matter who would be much more fitting for the position.
  4. Hi folks, Ricky here. o/ Some of you might know me from way back, others my recognize me for portraying Curel Wald, CMO main als from a while back, but I bet some of you also recognize me as the name behind Eva Meier! I've made this topic to help improve how I portray Eva, and in what ways to express her thoughts. emotiosn and sometimes abrasive attitude. Go ahead. Make me laugh, make me understand, make me cry or make me happy in general. Criticism is there to help improve after all!
  5. Itzal, the guy. Back when I used to be a mod, he was one of the people I looked up to along with Serv. He was around when you needed him. A levelheaded guy, that knew how to crack his jokes and when to crack them. As an admin, you could expect him to do his job. If he saw someone breaking rules, he knew how to approach it properly. No hostilities unless the situation escalated in the worst way, which barely happened with him around. He's not a biased guy, so you can count on him to take everything on the same grey floor. He will make a fine addition to the team, no doubt about it. Welcome him back already!
  6. WARNING: Grab a mug, popcorn, or both because it's going to be a looooong story. Okay, here is an explanation from the root up until the initial "backstab" since you want your "IC justification". It started with crossfire commencing, and everybody was debating through AOOC what the gimmick was going to be. A couple of ideas were exchanged and shot down due to lacking much substance. Eventually, the consensus came down to "Let's see what both sides bring to the table and react accordingly to it should we engage each other." The rest was organized ICly, and we agreed on the following plan: Infiltrate the base, kidnap a scientist/RD (with the pertained IC context of possessing knowledge of NT schematics, patents and secrets of great value to "the client"/hiring party) and to bust into their vault and acquire all the valuables. The plan wasn't too elaborate, would have provided conflict with the crew, and perhaps with the raiders since it's crossfire. Knowing well that an well-organized merc team has at least one member watching over the shuttle, I volunteered to allow the others to have fun on-station and radio'd so. On our way, we were able to intercept a discussion between the pirates and the station (Keep this in mind, because it will be important for later.) and we figured this would be the perfect distraction to make use of. Then things started to get messy. When arrived at the designated landing zone and in a matter of seconds a Vox on a space bike appeared spontaneously to open fire on the mercs on the away mission. I assume panic ensued, and everybody booked it instinctively so the team ended up scattered. One merc got stuck in an airlock and went MIA. the 2nd one managed to get to the vault, but supposedly succumbed to their wounds. And finally, there was K0n's being the only one left alive while I was trying to watch the shuttle as the Vox kept scooting by and digging holes. K0n's radio'd in that they had acquired a "hostage", which I assumed was a scientist as we had planned. With some messy coordinating and a disrupted radio network, we were able to rendezvous at the arrivals airlock where I had docked the shuttle. Much to my surprise, K0n's merc deviated from the original game plan to instead bring with them a random bartender. When I confronted them on this, they told me to look at the uplink. The uplink revealed that the bartender in question was, in fact, HIS daughter. After that clusterfuck of an operation, with half the team KIA/MIA, he returned to the shuttle with just a single barkeep with a bounty. If it were a side-op, sure, why not? However, what prompted me to let my character backstab k0n's merc was his dismissive attitude and him refusing to go along for a second raid to complete the original objective because, "he got what he wanted" and instead told my merc to go on her own. He gave up on the team aspect on which Merc thrives, and instead insists I go on a solo mission to a research facility on high alert with heavily armed security personnel. Furthermore, that same pirate crew from before had made some deals with the station which would’ve meant that we were even more outnumbered than we initially were. So I came up with a different plan instead. I’d kill off the merc, take his hostage back to the station to establish a truce and hopefully gain their trust. From then on, I’d resume the original plan and get out ASAP. So I confront K0n’s merc, we engage each other in a firefight and he wins. People in dsay ask what prompted me to off him, I explain and the rest is history. A lot more happened, of which some started to build the unneeded salt in my blood, but that’s not relevant to this complaint. However, what is important is that following the end of the round, people asked the mercs what was up with their terrible gimmick, to which I responded and explained how things got messed up. When all of a sudden K0n calls me out on “sitting down and doing nothing whilst he at least went out to do shit.” So I respond, then I get a follow up about how at least he tried to bring “some RP with his gimmick.” I’m sorry k0n, but what’s basically a 1 on 1 chairRP is NOT what merc’s supposed to be about. It’s a team-based gamemode, that goes along with coordination and established mission plans. We had one, and you shat all over it by bringing something so trivial and pale-looking for the “sake of RP”. That you showed the audacity to call me out for “doing nothing” while I proposed the 2nd raid. You were the on who shot it down, you made the decision to have the others die in vain for you to solo a mediocre game plan of chairRP. So, did I believe that backstab was ICly justified? Absolutely. Do I think this complaint is nothing but a petty attempt to paint me dirty because you know damn well you messed up and need a scapegoat? Absolutely. Pardon me on my French, but this isn't the first time you throw complaints at people who had shown the resolve to call you on your bullshit and it most likely will not be the last time you wil attempt to bring down somebody that calls you on your crap.
  7. This was primarely what made me decide to go for the Perma. It didn't really help that you decided to log, and trust me on it that I tried to stop you from going. However, I can understand that you're tired and you'd want to go to bed as quickly as possible, but at least make sure to warn us before you go as far as to kill of your character in such a fashion. For somebody in a wheelchair to desperatly go as far as to tie a knot, attach it to the ceiling so he could hang himself to death really takes it to the next level. Based on your response, I'm willing to give you a 2nd chance and lift the ban. Show us that how you truely changed your behaviour as you proclaimed you have by familarizing yourself with the rules and try to earn our trust back by showing what you can do with RPing.
  8. Minimize the usage an essential part of medbay that allows for the return of dead players by excluding it to the small minority of people that are rarely present or have other things to do? Like the CMOs that are barely available? The Command staff with little to no experience on the medical field?
  9. Welp, time to do some whitelist app digging. I'm going to get straight to point regarding certain aspects. Backstory: What I've gathered so far, I get where others see the ''cliché'' segments. While I do agree with them on some of it, I also see the potential this character could provide regarding tensions. I mean, how would people feel about a womanizing IPC wandering around? The Fleshlings can be annoying as Hell to some of the women, now imagine this coming from a MACHINE, oh boy. I'd love to see how that'd work out. However, that doesn't really help the case which Coalf already pointed out, which is the following; You've probably done better in your time RPing here. Like I said, I see the potential with this character when it comes to conflict with others, but that's where it ends for my vision. You probably have a more broad idea when it comes to what your character will go through when they're onboard the station and interacting with others. Nevertheless, if this already hasn't gotten fleshed out during this app, then I'm already afraid this won't help your application. RP I'll be repeating alot here, but like the others mention, you're a damn well RPer. You've proven yourself with characters suc has Yumi Yotin, T.T. and my favourite Medical character, Albert Gizro. They each are their seperate characters with their unique traits, quirks and mannerism which helps distinguishing them (In fact, I didn't know you played Gizro ,as I only knew you as the player of Yotin until I had become staff myself.). Just this alone makes me confident to say that I think you deserve a +1 to help show us what your vision is with T.B. and how he will contribute to the RP enviroment whe're trying to create. So, tl;dr: +1
  10. Yes, please. We need this kind of fluff to our lore. I'm all in for this. :ok_hand:
  11. Oh man, a staff complaint. Okay, I will prevent from repeating myself from what I've said to you during our PMs and simply hit on the headlines. The main issues I tried to point to you were your character's IC lack of understanding of the situation on simply ran into blindly. While I understand that the observation of a fellow officer been downed on the floor with a man sitting ontop of them with a baton may seem intimidating, it's then when you're required to negotiate and gain as much knowledge to determine how to approach the situation. A borg actually requested you to back off since the RD threatened before to kill the officer IF anyone attempted to stop him from doing whatever he was doing at that point. As far as your warden's "orders" went, they only consisted of loud demands and "GET DOWN", which if you think about it, won't solve a thing. The borg even stated that the situation was being handled and yet you went on with the /flashbang/. So, now to the flashbang. I understand that it's an item that would have likely dissolved the situation quickly, if it werent for the RD to be a vamp. But okay, your warden couldn't have known that they were one. Infact, a flashbang COULD have been the best solution should negotiations have turned out to fail and your fellow officer would have been on the brink of death. However, my point was that /after/ the failed flashbang, you immediatly pulled out your Energy Gun ON LETHAL and decided to pop a few shots at the RD. Most of the shots missed because either of poor aim or due to obstacles, but it was clearly your attempt to just gun a HEAD of Staff to death without any other attempts of non-lethal measures implemented. The only ones who actually bothered to try and use batons or flashes were the borgs that were present during the whole conflict. Just because one of your non-lethal measures fail doesn't mean you get greenlight to terminate somebody with lethal measures. That only counts for WHEN they actuall retaliate, and that happened because you decided to ignore further attempts of negotiating and pulling out your Energy Gun. The rest that nagged me while looking into the situation have already been pointed out by other members of the community as you can see above my post. I would have caled it "bad luck" if it were for your warden to just stun them and be on with it, but it was your decision to pull out the E-Gun and gun them. Even after the RD was wounded, and pretty much immobile, your warden went on to bash them a couple of times in the head with a stun baton on HARM intent. Yet another example of validhunting behaviour, I'd say. But that was overlooked as the main issue remained your poor choices that led to diffusing an interesting conflict that could have been solved through negotiations or talks. In the end, as praten has said; There have been cases where players actually got secbanned for these kind of things. I left you off with a warning because A. It was your first violation B. During our talks, I assumed that it was not your intention to dissolve the RP on purpose. C. Because I know that warnings allow players to reflect on past mistakes and remind them not to repeat them. I wouldn't dare to immediatly throw the temporary secban on you to prevent demoralizing you from ever player Security again. I hope this makes you understand why I insisted on the warning.
  12. From what you've answered, so far I believe you'd be a good addition to the Loreteam and certainly to Humanity's backstory. I'd definitely give you a +1. BUT, there is one reply of yours that bothers me however and that reply is this one; How exactly will this be worked out? Do you plan to retcon the entire Restoration progress that Earth has gone through up until 2458? Do you plan to announce a major event that'd make Earth once again a post-apocalyptic planet mainly covered in wastelands etc? How exactly will this make people come up with more developed backstories for their characters according to you? I've seen plenty of Human characters who originate from the Motherplanet with well-developed backstories. I'm just worried if they'll be forced to rework most of that SHOULD this change come through.
  13. Wow, I was first skeptic about this App too UNTILL you revealed this, Jesus. This clearily describes Greene's medical practice. I think the scarf would be a perfect addition to the character. +1
  14. A WARNING FOR ALL WHO ARE SENSITIVE TOWARDS ANIME-RELATED CONTENT. THE FOLLOWING CONTENT MAY CAUSE A SEVERE CASE OF STAGE 4 LEAFY. LOOK GARN, EVEN REM APPRECIATES YOU. REM!!!!
  15. finding food is also a core instinct, and giving food to animals has been a tried and tested way of taming them for millenia. mice learn pretty quickly That doens't really change the fact that the food is overwhelmed with Human scent. If their sense of fear overwhelmes their sense of hunger or vise versa, they'll prefer to run OR even fight if it's necessary, ESPECIALLY when the Human is still present amongst the food. Then again, these aren't domesticated/tamed mice, so it doesn't matter to them. Their sense of danger comes first as most animals do. I can imagine the situation would go differently if the Human left a stash of food alone at one location and remain distant for a while, the scent could cause the mice to avoid it BUT should truely be hungry, they'll take their chance as the potentional threat is not visually present. Still, I find it too much to just remove the mechanic itself. If all players can simply agree that mice exist for the purpose of being a pseudo-observe role with a minor RP role of being a general nuisance. Then all of this could work out just fine.
  16. Okay, so first of all. What? I never expected a staff complaint of this level in my time as Moderator and here it is. Anyway, I was online at the time this occured and let me give my perspective on the ordeal. A group of engineers and a scientist were remodeling Genetics and I decided to Aghost and see if it truely worked (since I was told Genetics itself was removed/borked.) when suddenly I find this; http://puu.sh/rHxUb/dda565d24b.png. There was no doubt you were basically communicating with your Human masters at an impossible level even if it's a domesticated, tamed, urban, wildlife or apache Mouse. It's an abuse of restrictions put on a Mouse, plain and simple. And for the record, despite you claiming mice can be ''taught'' such tricks. Are you implying those engineers/Scientists truely decided to sit down with you at some point ant spend hours learning you a trick? Because there is NO way that mouse learns that in a span of a few minutes. That takes at leasts hours for them to comprehend. And even so, the concept of pointing as a means of indication, understanding etc is not something they canot comprehend. For that to be so requires a level of sentience that's found only within primates and Humans. Muncorn was not wrong addressing you for the unrealistic animal behavioral potrayal at that point. There is no scientific evidence that indicates Mice sharing a semi-sentient level of intelligence that puts them CLOSE to Humans that they can point at specific objects to alarm/warn their owners. Period And for the record, yes, mice RP should not be policed. Why? Because we expect better from the players than goofing around as Mice while creating a backstory around a specific mice + creating ridiculously cartoon-ish scenarios with their Mice assigned the leading role. No, that's not what playing a Mice is for. It's being as implied multiple times as being a PSEUDO-OBSERVER ROLE. Nothing more, nothing else. Come on, Nanako. You should know better than this.
  17. Wow, okay. Uhm. So, I see where this complaint is all about. I agree, I'm not a fan of the way some players treat the mice role as. I've seen people pointing at equipment while playing a mouse or abusing emotes to communicate with their "owners". What's the most common ICly solution to that? Squish the living shit out of them. Then there are mice who actually play as REAL mice. They nibble on boxes in the Armory, try and steal food, became a general nuisance to the crew. What's the IC solution to them? Squish the living shit out of them. So, back to the whole ordeal with Mice players pulling they're adorable pet shenanigans and semi-intelligent somehow(?). In reality, Mice have the brain smaller than a peanut, which means they're driven by quite basic insticts. Mice will do anything to avoid contact with Humans (Or Alien Humanoids) because it's one of their primary insticts to avoid potentional dangers, they're vigilant animals. Just because a human kneels down to them and offers them food does NOT mean a Mice will consider them a friend, let alone /consider/ it. They will RUN away. Looking at mice doing the exact opposite, playing some sort of pet while pointing at equipment and subtly emote-communicate with their owner is not just Bad-RP, it's also abuse of an established restriction placed on your role. There is no NEED to remove the entire mechanic as a whole, just notify a staff member when you see the emote ''Mouse (666) thinks (out loud I guess?) that George Melons should watch the Alert consoles'' and we'll have a look at it. As Skull said, it's for the best we fix things at an administrative level first before we go remove an entire mechanic. To give my answer to this issue, should player-controlled mice be removed? No. Should there be more regs enforced upon player-controlled mice? No. Why? Because we have already have a rule for that. It's called remaining in-character. It's not that hard to google how mice truely behave, and as some players may find this dissapointing to hear, but none of them will ever attempt to befriend Humans or even allow them to befriend them. They're creatures bend on survival who'll avoid as much contact with anyone not part of their kind.
  18. Okay, so let's see this through. What I'm looking at are TWO confused sides. One formerly being that of the antag who felt they got "fucked over" and a player who pretty much assumed it was okay to fend off an antanogist after misplacing an ion shot mend for another target to be an attempt to harm them. I get where Absynth is getting from, I honestly do. I believe what has driven most of the final judgement to be as it is was mainly because of your Science shenanigans as a whole. The situation didn't help as most things were unclear and triggered wrong responses from both sides on this case. We had also took in account one incident where your character, Ein, was complained about for rushing into a Mercenary shuttle. Supposdly, you claimed that due to their /Warrior-caste/ state as well as being provoked by a Vaurca who was presumambly part of a Hostile hive it was deemed OK to chase them down. This act .What also didn't help was your hostile attitude throughout the PMs. Honestly, everything may have gone smoothly if it weren't for your random passive-aggressive commentary and mockery throughout the PMs. It dragged most of the attention AWAY from your arguments, which is a bad thing as you can see now. As for the whole bombing ordeal. I wasn't you at that point, in fact, I was one of the Mercs. BUT, I was not caught in the bombing incident nor did I realize the bombing was done by you until I received the message through Ahelp, so I hold no grudges to you. From what you're saying, you were removed a few tiles from the bomb and took your chance to pick it up. I'm not sure if there was any time to just flee, considering Vaurca can survive in space. But throwing the bomb still seems excessive in my eyes. Regarding the should non-security NOT be allowed to defend themselves and take out antagonists?. YES AND NO. It depends on the situation both the antagonist and potentional victim are stuck in. Is the Antagonist fully equipped with Military/Heavy gear, holding a weapon which could inflict fatal injuries OR holding you at gunpoint, it's EXPECTED that the victim surrenders if they are not given an opportunity. From this, you might ask; Then what makes throwing the bomb different from all this?. The difference is the collatoral damage that follows with bombing. It sets out a bad message as you show little to no self-preservation at that point since there was a huge risk that you may have ended up in the blast radius, killing you or fatally wounding you in the process. You've defended yourself by claiming your character was in a state of panic and utilized the bomb as a last resort, but then again, was running also an option at that point? As you've stated, your character prefers developing weaponry, not actually fighting. Nevertheless, it still brings up the fact that you're expected not to combat/attempt to kill the Antagonist on a fly. I'm willing to give you another chance to show that you're past the Science shenanigans and are willing to watch out for your behaviour during PMs. I'll be honest, I've been familiar with your attitude too. BUT, I've also seen that you're capable of being a nice player and do wish to contribute somehow to role-play, which is a characteristic I'd love to see in every player that steps into the server. I don't make the final decision on the removal of this appeal, but I'll be one of the few to give you a chance. You can count on that.
  19. Dear God, no. The last thing I want to see is Mouse (666) bites George Melons!. Many people before have listed reasons why Mice have restrictions and God forbid these restrictions too be loosened because certain players want their Mice to be Kawaii as fuck. I could name so many instances with Player mice fucking with things from Removing shoes to STRIPPING PEOPLE to terrible emotes like expressing emotions as if people can comprehend emotions coming from rodents. If you really feel the need to "bite" someone, you have an emote button for that. As Dreamix said, we don't need Mice to become something of equal to rampant vending machines or WORSE, like a Rodent Greytide.

  21. Nu luv for Hoomans? Considering Skrell-Humans (minus the AI incident) relationships are so great. Besides, these sprites look nice!
  22. Login > RED TALON Password > ******* Access Level > MESSENGER Net Access > Granted Welcome You can hear a disorted remix of anthems originating from varios Martian nations. Suddenly, a masked individual, wearing an offensive stereotypical Tajara mask, appears on the screen. Behind him hangs the banner of the Terrorist organization known as the Red Axis. "Greetings, Mister or Misses "K.SIGMA"! We understand that you are willing to relay information which regards Synthetic laws? While we, the Children of Mars, do utilize Synthetic units in our fight for a free and glorified Mars, we do NOT however approve of their independance. Machines were meant to serve us, as they've always done. The Children of Mars were meant to utilize them as tools and NOTHING more. If your intentions are to further twart any Synthetic independence movements, we are willing to provide material and financial support OR reinforcements to your cause. If it is otherwise, note that we will not welcome you openly in Sol, all though we have no hostile intentions towards you if so. May the Stars and the Black Void guide you through your mission." SIEG MARS
  23. I agree with Skull on this one. Most cases of Xenobiology outbreaks aren't done by malicious intent either, but are in fact caused by newbie mistakes/Players accustomed to other servers' xenobiology etc. Enforcing jobbans on these people would simply be unfair for the player and would break the friendy enviroment of the server. The problem with deaths caused in xenobiology is usually the blame of ignorance. Security has a tendency to "Rush in, think later". Deploying Synthetics to get rid off the slimes is one alternative to lower the casualties for example, yet security tends to deal it with themselves. And EVEN when security decides to do it themselves, they rarely plan their approach properly, simply rushing into the place with fire extinguishers just to meet their doom. As someone who plays mains Medbay and has seen the many Xenobiologists receiving cryo treatment due to accidents in xenobiology, I get your point. BUT we all have to start somewhere, and the start of something doesn't always go as smoothly as you'd expect.
  24. Ding dong, time for another review! Alright, makes sense. Mhm, good! Please pick one of your characters for this section, and provide well articulated responses to the following questions. This would have been OK in my book IF it weren't for the randomly added redacted. Honestly, what's the point of adding that info if it's classified anyway? I can overlook it as this is just a backstory, but by any means, do NOT transfer that over to your records at all UNLESS you've had some talk with the DOs pending the redacted/classified information. Because believe me when I tell you you're gonna have trouble with that when someone goes through a record review and reports thatt to the CCIA. Right, to keep it short. I'll just let you know I believe you answered all further questions well. So here is my opinion on you OOCly and ICly. OOc: You seemed like a nice guy, spilled a few memes here and there. Just by this, I wouldn't mind giving you a +! IC: I've met Alex Crossman when I played as a HoS. I remember how it wasn't just a few minutes in the round and I hear you calling me over the comms about a "hacked APC". It felt ridiculous and powergamey that I'm afraid as to how this will transfer over to your CMO character. Will you tone it down etc? So honestly, your App seems fine. I wouldn't give this a -1, but I'm not sure as to whether I should give you a +1. So I'm just going to keep my verdict as neutral. Perhaps some time I'll see your character shine in a different limelight and I will change my mind. If so, I'll update my decision. Anyhow, good luck!
