The application is good but the lack of any feedback is troubling. It's hard to connect an application to the player if no one can attest to it. So unfortunately I will have to decline it. This is not to say it's impossible for you to achieve the whitelist, I just recommend you upload it during a time where you are able to play consistently for the time the application is up and to advertise it in OOC. You're allowed to post your application once a round.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wS9ANx3FA2UPLoL89NBX4HEtxDDHdGpsqZ-kGihDC5c/edit?usp=sharing Implementing this is trivial, feel free to comment on the document. PR won't be made until I'm confident that the choices put are good. Remaining items might be implemented in another installment.

I'll see about working on this.

Character/Player Complaint - Graham Drift
Faris replied to AmoryBlaine's topic in Complaints Boards Archive
It seems that while this complaint has been up, that they have been spoken to about the issues cited here and to rework their character if they intend to keep them as to not break any further rules. In terms of administrative action, they already have been dealt with on server, so unless I notice repeats, I see no reason to double up. Considering this resolved but leaving it open for 24 hours in case new information shows up. -
Character/Player Complaint - Graham Drift
Faris replied to AmoryBlaine's topic in Complaints Boards Archive
I will need at least one ID to confirm it's handled. It seems the issue was handled, but I'd like to make sure the reported incidents aren't repeats after staff intervention. -
Just a notice that I’ll be helping Alberyk with this. Keep future posts concise and with relevant proof to the context of the complaint itself. No rumors or gossip.

We generally do not allow request threads by proxy unless there's a legitimate reason, so I'm locking it. If they want to appeal, they're free to do it themselves. This bit is clarification. Punishments are escalated as a sum of previous infractions. Bans are very rarely the first form of punishments and generally require previous escalation beforehand.

You need to include a reasoning. Even if you're reiterating other peoples opinion as your own. -

MoonTruther staff complaint: drwago
Faris replied to MoonTruther's topic in Staff Complaints Archive
As a person that's permanently banned you before, the opinion that you are not deserving of yet another chance is not only shared by Alberyk. This is your fourth indefinite ban. At some point, giving people the benefit of doubt and taking them for their word becomes something that's more trouble than it's worth it. You learned your lesson three times and still took it upon yourself to cause issues intentionally. You really don't deserve another chance. -
Ban was lifted. Locking and archiving.

Round probabilities are a thing Headmins and Headdevs can change, if that's what you mean.

IPC Species Maintainer - Niennab

A bit later than I promised, so I'll give a rundown some of my thoughts as I think any questions I have are already answered. 1- As a person on this server, you are pleasant and have had no issues interacting with people. You're not one for server drama or any of the server politics some people seem to enjoy. A straightforward person which is something I appreciate. 2- As a roleplayer, your writing is good and are rule abiding. It gives me the belief you would have a good measure of what's acceptable from your whitelistees. 3- I kept thinking over the comments about timezones being an issue and the more I thought about the more I became convinced that it's really not going to be an issue with communication. Naturally, given that the playerbase spans the globe, we don't seem to have a major issue in terms of overall communication, so I doubt your timezone would really cause any issues at all. 4- My only true concern is that relative to the other applicants, even the ones withdrawn, is that you are to a degree, untested when it comes to being a staff member here. While it is my belief you'll do fine, there's a difference between unproven belief and seeing it happen before, but in your case, I remain optimistic. -

Reach Out Initiative: Adhomai, S'rand'marr Editor's Note: Translated to all languages. For years, the Tajara people have been embroiled in a planet spanning civil war, a war that has taken countless lives, forced many out of their homes, spreading poverty and a harsh style of life on the people. Per the “Reach Out Initiative”, earlier this year, the People's Republic of Adhomai, a faction in this conflict has reached out towards the galaxy, requesting aid. The Nralakk Federation answered the call, not to wage war, but to protect the Tajara populace, bringing peace and safety to regions impoverished by the conflict, providing aid to all. So as a response to this call for help, the Grand Councillor Weashbi Jrugl authorized the formation of a peacekeeping fleet designated as “Serenity” filled with security, logistical, medical and every form of specialized help that is considered vital for this planet. Manifests and reports indicate that no expense has been spared. As of the time of this articles release, the fleet has arrived and set up operations. Reporter attachees in the fleet have forwarded us media files of their time on the planet and the vital and heroic work conducted by the dispatched ROI Fleet. Video 1: Video 2: Image 1 and 2: Viewers are welcome to visit the front page for a larger collection of imagery showing the heroic work the ROI fleet and the benevolence of our Federation. Citizens of the Federation are encouraged and welcome to volunteer their time in the Reach Out Initiative, postings exist for local duties.

While your contributions have been considerable, I do remain curious on a few things. 1- You’re new to the community, don’t believe I’ve even had the pleasure of seeing you play as I’ve been busy recently. What reason did you pick to stick around Aurora? 2- Again, you’re new here. Why did you invest yourself so heavily? 3- From what I’ve seen and people’s feedback on you, there’s a streak of quality to your work and in addition, based on the numbers you posted yourself, the volume of your contribution is substantial for such a period of time. Are you worried you might get burnt out quickly?

[Resolved] Science Multiple Jobs - ShesTrying
Faris replied to T1GWS's topic in Staff Complaints Archive
Since I’m quoted, it would be good if I clarified. The distinction between the two jobs and the inability of scientists has been a thing for a while now, enforced by start. it is possible for a person to spend half their live up to 50 years old to acquire every necessary degree to do both the entire medical and science roles. It is possible to do a lot. This does not mean it’s considered plausible or within of acceptable believability for the server. It’s also bad sportsmanship to create a character that can hog a lot of jobs despite people limiting them. While the ultimate decision would be up to admins as I’m not an admin anymore, I doubt this staff complaint will do anything as Shestrying is just following a ruling, putting them into the right in regards with the verdict itself. -
IPC Species Maintainer - Niennab

This feels like a none issue really. Those of us GMT +3/4 don’t have an issue communicating despite being practically opposite ends of the planet with 12 hour differences. While there is a 14 hour difference from the west coast and Korea, the overlapping waking hours are still quite good and sufficient. Other than that, I intend to post my feedback tomorrow on this app. For now I just want to echo that it is my belief that Nienne is an individual I’ve seen with no issues conduct wise. They’ve got a mature mannerism to them. All in all, player wise; their behavior is almost perfect.
