I really feel you have the general vibe of Skrell down, and your character could definitely be unique and fun to play! I have a few questions to just encourage a bit of thought, sometimes asking questions can just fill in those 'blanks' you're thinking of and encourage a bit of a narrative/idea for your character - although I definitely understand needing to play them to get into the mindset to better do that. How do you feel Abuii was taught to treat synthetics? There are so many ways to actually be taught that go beyond just simple hate. To help, I like to imagine the stories that their caretakers told them - were their guardians loudly self-depricating to allowing synthetics to be created? Did they teach the full history - of how the AI used to be friends before the Betrayal? Maybe never even talking about it and instead your character only hearing the stories from non-family members, or history logs? I'm asking these questions to encourage variations in emotions about synthetics - Flat hate is definitely still valid, however.

Another thing too, when important people come to the Aurora with this - they could just say... "Hello, Aurora! I just came over after having a private, mono a mono with all of the scientists over at the Upsilon. But that's nothing compared to the speech I'm about to give here for you!" this would IMPLY those scientists are getting special treatment, and that our characters are just 'second best' in the same way. I REALLY love that, and want that, and love this. give me the Upsilon so I can hate it.

Personally, as a long-time player, the new way roleplay occurs is amazing to me. It's EXACTLY my style. With less metacliques and more self-interested characters, those self-interested characters flourish and can abuse/rag/roleplay with other people antagonistically without their best friends coming to smash your face in. All of my characters have adapted to this, focusing on the fact that people CAN be racist and antagonizing. And if you ever do make a friend, you can plot against your co-worker that bullies you. I love it.?

I really like this! It's very similar to what I've originally imagined for an expansion into Skrell telepathy and its effect on the beliefs they have. I'll be expanding a philosophy and religion page soon, and as far as I know currently this is already canon.

Hi! Sorry for the long delay, I've been reworking Skrell lore. For this decision since you applied before the rework, I'll base it on what you know about previous skrell lore and suggest that you reread a bit of the new updates to the social, cultural, and work ethic sections of the main page. On the topic of a black skrell, you can definitely have that. I recommend choosing a dark shade of a different colour though, if it doesn't look good. The application is definitely basic, and I recommend you answer a few of the questions above please, thank you! If you do end up reworking your entire application to add in a few additions in new lore, that'd be nice as well.

I always imagined it sounding like a theremin with a bit more crickety, wobbly noises, and higher pitched. Warbling would just be opening your mouth like a frog, and Eee'ing. Skrell warbling can just be talking, sighing, wanting to make some noise, really just warble whenever it's convenient.

Hi I'm back from vacation and throwing my answers here I think Skrell's revililization is just in having an active loredev, with articles and updates. Someone that connects to what people want, and shows off a good narrative. That's really it to get the creamy stuff. I think letting them do little things, like smiling or frowning, would be good. Also, I wouldn't actively hunt down or encourage people to be emotionless and expressionless, moreso just encouraging a bit of an alieny vibe and reminding people to use verbose vocab emotional stuff instead of emotional inflections. Skrell whitelists in the past have been notable for scaring away people that otherwise know the lore and just don't want to be denied. As long as the people that apply understand what we don't want them to do - things like extreme 'sexual' interest, and at least incorperate some sort of lore understanding, then it should be fine and dandy in my book. I like to think it was more natural at first - and then genetic engineering advanced the natural process, allowing it to become a fashion statement to show where you grew up. I'd say within a lifetime, a Skrell could see their colour change with both their enviroment and age. A yellow Skrell could see their skin become more blue on a colder planet within a few decades naturally, or change it purposefully within a year with a local skincare facility. THAT'd be cool. I really enjoy a lot of the parts of Fowl's work, but would also like to incorporate my idea of Glorsh and working on some arcs.

I fine tuned the old Dionaea lore history, incorporating them back into the political shit of Skrell a few years ago. I also helped with loads of other projects that I randomly got interested in and brainstormed/drew for, so I have my little toesies dipped in all the lore pies. Additional Comments: I am currently kind of on vacation, but I have made my essay with most of my ideas on there. Primary changes would be a HUGE pullout of the 'subtle' things Loow did, like, really just shoving it in your face. Also, I want to talk with Bygone about Cthur junk - stuff like, Skrell ensuring loads of 'diplomatic' C'thur are sent out into the universe while all the Viax are slowly being incorperated into their main workforce, so that more Skrell can get out of lower class and into the Civil Icon role kinda. I also have ideas for using the Tup Police like a sort of, secret police both inside and outside the Federation, and changing Glorsh to feel less random and more spurred on by an intense desire for Skrell to not want to work in labor jobs. Skrell REALLY hate working labor, so they try and abuse anything you throw at them to get to a higher standing point or goal they want. I'll be leaving my role of Unathi Deputy for this, so that role would be open for grabs.

Assassination Attempt on Not’zar Izweski! Exotic Azure Slays Two Assassins and ENTIRE Clan Made Guwans Editors note: Translated to Basic by human Sinta'Unathi linguist. Drama erupts from the castle of New Skalamar today. Not’zar Izweski was in the middle of attentively listening to four old Clan-mothers talk about their grandkids when two of the Yiztek that had been mingling in the crowd suddenly drew weapons. The first, a son of the Yiztek clan, pulled out a dagger and lunged over the table at the Lord-Regent. In a whirlwind of movement the azure Hizoni Razi jumped in front of the assassin and with her own knife disarmed and struck down the assailant. Clan Mother O’loi Yiztek who was standing nearby drew a laser pistol, where she was intent on gunning down the Lord-Regent who was still seated. Hizoni Razi threw her dagger at the Clan Mother, hitting her in the shoulder. The elderly O'loi Yiztek then fired off a stray shot into a grandmother seated next to Not'zar before she was then restrained by the guards. The second son of the Yiztek lost heart and attempted to flee, but was tackled by Lord-Admiral Yizarus and incapacitated with a strike. The festival was thrown into chaos as the castle went into lockdown and the elderly clan-mothers were escorted out and given treatment. After extensive questioning in the castle’s dungeon the captured Yiztek clan members revealed that they had personally wanted to get revenge for the now Guwandi previous Overlord, and that there were hidden weapons in the New Skalamar citadel from when the previous Overlord had control of the city. Immediately following all this, Not’zar Izweski gave a speech on system-wide television and radio which branded the entire Clan as Guwan in a direct decree, where the whole of the Yiztek will be forced to fend for themselves in the Wasteland. This would displace 100 members of the clan into the sands. This is the first time a clan-wide Guwan decree has occured under the governance of Lord Regent Not’zar and the first of such decree in over a hundred years. The Yiztek Clan-Leader is believed to still be at his estate in the Untouched Lands on Moghes, and it was last heard that the nearby Lord Reiv’a Xu’ha had raised his clan levy to besiege the Yiztek castle in the name of the Izweski. Not’zar Izweski has been seen often, surrounded by his Guwan guard while speaking to Lady Hizoni Razi. She is said to have learned how to wield the knives from a common female pasttime, Bladedancing, where women pirouette intricately with flaming weapons, which is much too dainty and womanly to actually hurt anyone. Most noblemen find this laughable that bladedancing would give enough training to fight, and are simply saying she should could not have used dancing blades to hurt anyone, and even if she did have regular knives could not have had the strength to cut someone. Not’zar has sliced into the debate, giving praise and saying “Anyone who defends their Hegemon in any way is deserving of great praise and prizes, Hizoni has done what all Sinta should have done, and very well.” Since Not’zar Izweski used Lady Razi’s first name, does that show his intentions already, with a possible relationship on the horizon?

is there anything bad about adding in custom item pets if you think about it? Especially if they don't have the ability to attack or anything. i like it

if you want to force people to interact with you you should try playing security cadet although i do like the idea of the prepared food giving you a buff.

Currently, the 'cartridges' are only found in atmos and orderable from cargo. The fire extinguishers at the moment are great, except for the single mechanic of having to use the cartridges to refill them. A good way to fix the LACK of cartridges is to have them be connected to the fire extinguisher tank. ACTUALLY now that I think of it it's not the mechanic that's bad, it's just the lack of these cartridges being anywhere. So, connecting them to the foam tanks is a great idea.

you can just throw it i have personally thrown about 20 things onto tables to watch them splatter or break.
