I have a few questions i'd like to ask you: How old are they? They've been around the galaxy, so can't be too young. How were they able to afford the visits to all the different places? What did they do in the meantime to earn money? How do they feel about the different species they've visited? Unathi in Moghes treat dionae a bit specially, and spending time between two very different IPC factions would definitly shape their opinion on synthetics. While your app does a good job of explaining their history, I'm curios about what you plan to have their personality be like. Also, do they have a mindtype? Don't feel too pressured with this question, I get that it's difficult to plan a personality around such an alien species without spending a lot of time playing as them, just wanna know if you have any ideas now.

I was aware they had some resistance to stuns, which in hindsight I should’ve told garn in the ticket since I brought tup they felt pain. I wasn’t aware how resistant they were in practice though since I’d never actually seen a dionae being stunned in a round. If I did I wouldn’t have brought up them feeling pain the first place since yeah it’s unreasonable to tell someone to use stuns on a dionae in this situation with their pain resistance

Since this is somewhat of an obscure mechanic i've added it to the Dionae wiki's mechanics section. If it needs to be said, flashing a dionae will stun them completely for 3 seconds, along with them being blind for another 10

I wasn't aware it was this fucking much lmao. I thought it was just 30% less damage, not 130% or however this works out in math, gonna look into this and might get it changed given I just tried stunning a dionae in the thunderdome and the baton ran out of charge first before they dropped.

@Omicega In msay I mentioned forcing a dionae to split was not something trivial, it was giving them massive braindamage and memory loss. I did, however, mention in the ticket that Dionaea can feel pain/be stun batond. While they take less pain than a human does, it can still cause them to collapse and the like. I mentioned it in the ticket since I believe it would've been a better thing to do than use the laser rifle since you were already right next to my tree.

Admins do bwoink nymphs for doing this. I was back when I first started playing lmao. I am perfectly fine with adding some special ghost roles for nymphs and making it so nymphs that are grown don't' die after a few seconds if someone doesn't take it, honestly I wouldn't mind making it forever unless someone destroys the bulb. This was discussed a while back with the team, but, it wasn't high priority at the time. I'd be down for it though if someone is willing to add it.

How do you feel about the changes to Dionae lore over the past year? Is there anything you would like to change or specifically work on? What is your vision of what Dionae should be?

What it says in the title. Ideally this'd be done to avoid people from meme voting then not joining the round. It'd also be good to add some sort of log for modmins saying a person logged out after voting to avoid that as well. I do think this should only be put in place if it's locking people if they vote for the vote that wins, so people aren't forced to ready up if they vote for extended but secret or vice versa.

What it says on the tin, allow players to choose some number of antag roles(i'd say 3) that they can blacklist and won't be drafted for. So, someone can have cult, ninja, and raider wizards chosen and they won't ever get drafted as it, but they can still be drafted for traitor, ling, ect. Adding that this shouldn't make it so the player cant' be converted into the role like with cult and rev if it's blacklisted

What it says on the tin. Currently cult only needs nine people readied to run. This, along with the drafting system always drafting four people for cultist(which really should be lowered to three as well), means on lowpop there are rounds where 4/9 crew are cultists. For the past week I've been seeing this almost every day. While it's possible to still have an enjoyable cultist round like, usually it just means the cult can steamroll converting the entire crew since no one is really able to stop them, converting one or two people means they have over half the crew as cult. Raising the cap to 15-20 players needed would hopefully fix this issue, along with /hopefully/ making it so cultists are more spread-out between departments instead of having them all in one department like security.
