Im extremely against forcing someone to be the host of a borer on roundstart. Borerhosts are as important as a borer when it comes to round progression and enjoyment of the round, but forcing them will only drag the round down, not improve a single thing. Every single converting antag type gives you a choice. You do not have to join cult or revs, I don’t see why we should enforce it for borer.

This eventually turned into me trying to subtely say "I don't know if you are competent, given I have seen some rather incompetent RDs", which they flatout said I was incompetent because I was in my position, and I shouldn't talk back to him, then he said he is making a note on my records for insubordination, which as I highly disagree with, and their reasoning for allowikng the assistant in research, I said I would make a IR. I did report it to the captain first, who said they are busy, and to make a IR. The witness, Tzarka Ssarzi, saw the entire thing. Did you report it to a Head of Department or IAA? If so, who?: Yes, Elora Roch the captain at the time, seemed busy, said to make a IR. Actions taken: None as far as I know. I disagree with the removal of ling. I don't see ling as broken, and I don't agree that it should be removed because of some bad ling rounds/bad ling players. There have been plenty of good ling rounds/gimmicks. I do agree though i'd like to see a rework of some mechanics, just not the full removal of the gamemode while we wait.

After some thought, we'll be going ahead and accepting your app. In most cases @Cnaym when a name is too long to fit in the setup menu, it is best to have it shortend for the sake of ID reading and in records/when you talk icly about your name to use the full, original name. I'm sorry for the delay on how long this took to process. I'm going to be denying this app. The app itself is rather bare bones, especially the backstory. How would they act, what job would they have, how would they feel about the people who found them? Things like that could be included to expand upon it. My other issue is your behavior on the server, it's still rather LRPish. I'm going to have to ask you to wait until February of 2020 until you reapply to see if your behavior improves. Until then, application denied.

Hi. I just want to say what exactly happend here. I started a vote, it got out about 23-21(Might've been a bit different, it was close) The vote was a no of course. During the vote I made a comment about alienzombies being added, and that this would probably have been the first one since then. A few staff and players suggested a revote because of this. Staff went back and forth on if we should, eventually we said we would, and cnaym did the vote. I was planning to do it myself but cnaym did it before I could say I would. The vote was something like 28-11(again, not 100%. It was a noticeable difference). The 28 was for a yes, so the vote was a yes this time. The vote was run since players were suggesting and saying they did not know the new additions to zombies happend. Fellow staff said they believe this as well, and to run another vote since people were aware now. Sorry for any grammar mistakes, i'll come back and fix it post-round.

I'm sorry for the delay with another response. While it is allowed in most cases to kill a witness that poses a threat(for instance, a armed officer witnessing you murdering someone), in this case we don't believe they posed enough of a threat to you to warrant the APC bombing. If they had planned to storm your core or set off a EMP that would be different, just being the director and moving to call a shuttle isn't really. Malf has a myriad of powers that can be used to escalate better in a situation like this instead of APC bombing. Blowing up the console(only damages the tiles near it, nothing deadly), shutting off power, bolting the door, Ect.

I do like the app and the ideas suggested. There's not much I can say that hasn't been said. Although I do have a question I wish to ask. Do you have any concerns with a possible difference in opinions or ideas with the rest of the Dionaea team? or the full lore team?

From a station-side perspective Ta seem fine to me. They give some unique roleplay given they are giant bugs that other bugs look up to. I can't comment much on the lore side of things regarding them though.

I do have plans to rewrite the education blurb a bit on the wiki to include more information, like how education would swap between gestalts and some ways they could pay for their education. Although regarding them integrating into society, I haven't personally thought much about it. I don't think it has come up much with me. I do want to run polls with fellow lorestaff and Dionaea players to see what their issues are with Dionaea, and if this came up top, it would be something I would focus on fixing if it's disliked.

Personally, I don't have too many issues with the current lore for Dionaea. Saying this though, I do wanna expand their lore with more details that can hopefully allow for more character ideas with the species. Minor thing, for the next couple of days I probably won't be responding much here. Been feeling the sick the past two days, don't know how long it'll last. EDIT: Deleted the second paragraph as it felt a bit rambling and badly worded, probably not the best combo of things to write while feeling sick.

I would want to lean on the "mysticism" side of things with Dionaea as they are a strange and mysterious species. Their origins, for instance, are a mystery to most other species. There are hints as to maybe where they come from, or how old, but nothing concrete. Although while saying this, I do not want it to ever be "magicy" mysticism in the sense that while something may seem magical, it would still be scientific in nature, although possibly highly advanced. While I do want to keep this mysteriousness with them, I do also want to be a bit more publicly open about their "background" lore with OOC knowledge. For instance, I want it to be oocly publicly known as to what happened to the Dionaea who left a few months ago based on the news article, although I would not want it to be known icly by non-Dionaea.
