I agree. The TCFL was a cool addition and should be called more often. Not as often as it used to be, but more often than now.

I have a split opinion here. On the one hand I agree that most antags won't give too much damns about it, since, as Amory already said, they mostly wear helmets/suits, etc., I also agree with his opinion on flashes. The thought to give people with actual records more leeway is also a good thought. On the other hand it will maybe cause great debate, ICly, on what is considered a small, nonlethal defense tool and it might give people more reason to be a bit more aggressive. I do not agree that people would prepare for antags or have them "just in case". Many people have pockets knives with them regularly, because they can be handy. I don't see the bleeding knives can cause as a problem, since medical supplies are widely available on the station, and its really no miracle work to get some. All in all I am in favour of this suggestion.

How long have you played on Aurora?: On Aurora three years, I think, maybe a bit longer with this ckey. A tiny bit with my old ckey, which I will never disclose it's name here, but that playtime is negligible. How active on the forums, discord and/or server are you? I used to be not active on the forums at all (took me over a year of playing to register) but lately I am lurking more, usually when I'm playing I have them open in a tab on the second monitor. I have very, very, very few notes. The most serious thing I did was misinterpreting laws as an AI. I have never ever recieved a legitimate player or character complaint. I am always happy when the magnitude of faxes, situation reports, etc. get answered. The fact that people can be influenced by canon investigations and even punishments can make and drive a character forwards. I've seen quite some people change how their character behaves due to CCIA actions. It can also drive RP between the crew and that is always a good thing. What do you think are the most important qualities for a CCIA Agent to possess?: The most important thing is to stay unbiased, when reviewing IRs and be as accurate as possible, when investigating one. It's expected of you to not prefer any player over another, based on OOC or IC interactions in the past. Some people cannot put a strict divide between IC and OOC, which is problematic as an agent. What do you think the purpose of a CCIA Agent is in an ongoing round?: As I outlined above, driving the story, answering the sent faxes and situation reports. What do you think the purpose of a CCIA Agent is outside of the server?: Outside of the server it's crucial to sort out any posted IRs in the forums. Nothing is more frustrating when you submit one and it does not get handled or concluded within a reasonable timeframe. That's something the players expect and that should be met. How do you handle stress?: I have graduated in a natural science (biology, more specific molecular plant physiology, with my thesis being in electroanalysis at the biophysics institute of my uni, for anyone who cares) and work in a lab. This can be much hell, with deadlines, experiments going wrong and generally tight schedules. And I am still alive and have not gone insane. So I guess I can handle stress relatively well. How well do you work autonomously?: Again, in a scientific/research field of work autonomously working is required and expected. I practically work without a direct supervisor and plan/execute my days at uni or at my institute alone. I say I am very capable of working on my own. Additional Notes: yikes

Even though I don't like people putting existing characters in command roles I think this time it's fitting and I happily updoot this app with a +1. I've played with you a lot of rounds together and I'm happy to see you with Armstrong again lately and I think you'll be a good command player. Your roleplay is very good and I enjoy it, most of the time, if not always. You'll do great.

And how exactly did they end up employed on the Aurora as a Head of Security with a pirate background? The story reads well but kind of cuts off in the end.

As I said on discord, if you're at it, maybe an EMT bag. For balancing reasons give it slots instead of space, for medical items only. I'd be fine with the EMT belt being removed for it.

As a dirty medical main (former some would say) I like them very much. I hope they, or an iteration of them, make it into the game.

Atmospheric Technicians are the designated firefighters. There are never any, so engineering does the firefighting. To your suggestion - doesn't make much sense. a), what Sleepy said, b) it's for firefighting purposes (hence the name, hue) so it should be where the...well, firefighters of the station are.

I've read your application with interest since your story is creative, I think most would agree with that, however, some questions arise, when reading it but I'm sure you can answer them easily. Here we go: Why and more importantly how were their names completely wiped from the records? As nobles they surely were either well known for, well something, had possesions of notable worth, maybe even land, and thus power. What happened that they were basically forgotten by those that once knew them? So how ended up a random (seemingly) peasant Tajara, living in the streets, attending the most basic of schooling institutions, where you probably don't learn much except reading, writing and probably the history of Adhomai, in a NanoTrasen funded University, with an emphasis on Engineering? That reads as a very, very, far stretch. Even if he got a scholarship or something similar the questions still stand: How, through whom and why? So, what are his political views on the civil war? When President Hadii (bless his heart) was assasinated in 2451 Garilor was 24. How did he react? You wrote that he was made to believe that his father was a hero of the rebellion, but on what side was he supposedly on. The term "rebels" shouldn't be used loosely here, who's side did he support, if at all? The People's Republic of Adhomai or the Adhomai Liberation Army? Another question is how his view has changed after he found out about his father and his noble bloodline. What are his current views on the New Kingdom of Adhomai?
